What a neat coffee shop! We stopped in as our American Cruise Lines had a port call at Wheeling. A guy we met on the sidewalk by the port said it was the best coffee shop and that he drives over 25 miles almost daily to get espresso drinks from here. After enjoying our iced lattes I can see why.

We needed a coffee place, and this one popped up on the map. While there is construction going on on the street and you have to park in a side street, the store is great, and the host was even better. We will be bac next time we are in the area as this a coffee place you want to be.

Stopped here on my road trip and absolutely loved it! Such a great coffee shop with an enormous amount of drink variety. For example, I ordered "The Grant" and it was incredible! One of the best milkshakes I've had in a LONG time. Their food was prepared fresh and was delicious. I ordered the Monte Christina and it was a perfect combination of sweet and salty. My friends ordered other sandwiches and everyone said their food was delicious. Lastly, I love the vibe! If I lived in this town, I would come here all the time. The people who were there were friendly, patient, helpful and extremely nice. Highly recommend!

I have been wanting to stop into Mugshots when I'm visiting from Pittsburgh, but they aren't open on Saturdays! My boyfriend told me to order him a drink called the Grant (cold blended vanilla non-coffee drink) on my way in. I called over the phone and put in the order. I asked for mine to be made with almond milk. I rolled up to the shop and there was a cute sign out front where you can have your order brought to you! Curbside! Nice! Walking in, the place had a nice cozy vibe. I liked the old fashioned looking register. The girl who helped me was kind and rang me up. She made my drink with oat milk instead of almond milk, but that's fine. It was delicious. The Grant tasted like an horchata almost. I look forward to trying more items from their menu.

Smoked salmon wrap with pita chips and hummus and a chai latte.

I stopped into this cafe while I was in town, and it is a fantastic place to grab a small lunch and coffee or tea. It has a west coast vibe and the barista/owner is very friendly and pleasant to chat with. Will definitely come back anytime I'm in town.

We got their birthday cake flight not knowing what to expect and as soon as this was brought to our table this flight exceeded all of our expectations absolutely amazing! Each coffee had a different flavor of yummy goodness and I didn't want it to end. For breakfast we just had egg and cheese croissants and they were delicious! Sitting inside was fun with games and books to read as well as good music. & The staff was so friendly and immediately great vibes. Also very patient. They were super busy at one point and still brought everything to the table. I also got to taste the blueberry smoothie and it was so so good!! The only redeeming quality seems to be that they're open on Sundays, which a lot of places in Wheeling aren't. I never recommend this place to out of town friends if I can help it, especially since we have SEVERAL truly top notch coffee shops and cafes in the area within walking distance of this place. Truly, I wish it was better because it's well located and convenient. If they would just focus on making a FEW menu items WELL with high quality ingredients and have all prices listed, they would gain another star for sure. This could be a destination cafe within Wheeling and it currently is not.

Their frozen, blended coffees are outstanding, frozen tea smoothies are great, and their espresso shots will get you going in the morning. The aesthetics are great. Flowers are maintained during the summer, and ducks are fed nearby on the grass, the inside is pretty as well. Chess, checkers, scrabble are available to entertain you and your friends. They sell some WCS merch if you want to rep their coffee joint. They offer free Wi-Fi, which is why I did a lot of my business work here. Parking can be weird, so I usually just park in the nearby plaza. The only thing that makes this place better is its proximity to Avenue Eats. I'd recommend eating at Avenue, then walking 100 feet to Wheeling Coffee Shoppe for desert and coffee, of course. Wonderful little place.

In many of the upper and lower corners, wallpaper is falling off of the walls. There's dustwebs around the ceiling. The baseboard is DISGUSTING. There's a layer of dust on every shelf. Then there's the refusal to get wifi for customers. I've gone in once every 5-6 months to ask if they have wifi so I can work in there, it's nice to work in a coffee shop where you can get drinks and snacks from them for a few hours, but they refuse. Every single time I've gone in for the past 2 years they say, "oh, the wifi is down"...just say you don't want to pay for wifi for your customers. As much as I want to support local small business over chains, at least the chain coffee shops are clean and have working wifi. If a store is this dirty to the customers eye, I don't trust the machines and food storage. I am done trying to support them.

It is located in the Centre Market, along with many other shops and food spots. The girls working were very nice and lovely to converse with! We asked if they do a "medicine ball" -type drink, and one of the girls texted another person to make sure it was correctly made (she said not explicitly on the menu but they make it at customers request!) We got the tea, a seasonal latte, and a drink from their surprise jar. They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise! I never saw this before at a coffee shop and thought it was awesome. All of the drinks were great and the shop's ambiance is quaint and cozy. They are in the market amongst other shops, and have plenty of seats and tables to spread out at. If I lived in the area, I would come here to hang out or to meet up with friends. Would highly recommend the shop and will stop back when I am in the area!

I think from this restaurant I would love to see a creamy broth come in - like a tonkatsu! I would also like to see more Asian inspired drinks, I received a bottle of Lipton green tea and my mother got a bottle of water... The service was good, there was no one in the shop and they used our table as training for a new trainee, which was good to see! The waitresses were both nice and respectable. The ambiance is a bit lacking, the tables also feel like your average school lunch table which was weird. If it's going to be a ramen shop, then make it more of an Asian flare when you walk in, versus us seeing the whole kitchen and school lunch tables. Ramen for the area 3.5/5
