I got the burger and hot dog, botwere top notch and imo one of the halal spot for a hot dog in the suburbs! The burger was fresh with a nice seasoned patty and caramelized onions and the hot dog had all the classic Chicago ingredients that make it so nostalgic. This is a great casual spot for some good food, I'd highly recommend!!

Had a bad craving for a burger and decided to give this place a try after reading all the good reviews. First off, it was hard to find because there's no sign outside lol but it's located in the same plaza as Noodles Pho U and to the right of Ivy Massage. Upon entering, you order on an iPad. Simple menu, consists of burger, fries, hot dog, grilled cheese, lemonade and soft drinks. We ordered two burgers with different toppings and fries. They made two of one of the burgers we ordered instead of our each individualized burgers but it's okay, no biggie. After paying, you enter your phone number and a message pops up saying you'll receive a text when the order is ready. We sat in a booth for a good 15 minutes waiting for the text or name to be called but never happened, but eventually checked and it was ready and sitting on the counter. The burger itself was decent, a bit greasy but nothing horrible. The buns were a little soggy and the patties were ok, fell apart easily. We liked the toppings (pickles, sliced onions and jalapeños) and the centro sauce was a nice change from your typical ketchup and mayo. The fries were a bit of a let down, especially since some of the other reviews had pictures of really golden/seasoned fries. Overall, average food but I'm hoping it was an off day so maybe we'll try again.

Sure the place is a bit outdated but the food was delicious and that's what counts. The fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chicken slider was good too but I think they gave me the spicy chicken instead of mild which is fine. The pickles were fresh and so were all the other veggies. But the burger was the star of the show. Cooked medium well, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the seasoning was impeccable. Oh and we can't forget about the centro sauce. That was chefs kiss.

Centro jumped on the spicy chicken bandwagon. I heard it was pretty good, so I tried it out. I ordered the Feast #3 which comes with two sliders and fries for $12.99. I asked for one slider with regular spice and the other super spicy. Well, I think they messed up and gave both sliders as super spicy. I took a bite of each one and the spice level was the same. Unfortunately my wife could barely tolerate it, but I thought it was pretty good. There's a tiny hint of sweetness that nicely complements the spice. Moreover, these were not sliders. These were two big chicken sandwiches, making this quite a value. The fries were sparse in quantity, which is a shame because they were good fries. Their chicken sandwich is definitely worth a shot. I think I still prefer Chi Tea and Dave's, but this is a nice option to have. P.S. I really hope they put up a sign some day so people actually know that Centro is here. Currently there's no signage. Apparently it's only for people in the know.

Place was very dirty and not inviting when you walk in. Looks like the place is not open. My order was also made wrong and we were the only two in the place. Even if my food was made correctly I would not be able to eat it after seeing the condition of the place. Never will return

So happy someone told us to come here for some good halal burgers. I don't think I would have found this through the internet. From the outside this place may not look all that but when you see these burgers you will be blown away. Everything comes packed so nicely! Which is a huge thing during this covid time considering everything has turned into takeout. Burgers are very filling and satisfying and the fries are amazing! Love the centro sauce with it! Will definitely be back!

This place has gotten pretty popular by word of mouth. Initially I wasn't too keen on checking it out since the name was random, and the restaurant itself is not kept in the best of condition. They have a very limited menu as well, but let me tell you, they definitely do a good job! Their burger is phenomenal, with thin, creamy, juicy beef patties. I personally recommend the double burger, and if you are in any doubt then look at the picture below. Limited menu and poor ambiance, however phenomenal food = 4.5.

Great burgers. The double cheeseburger is huge. Hey grilled jalapeños. The hot dogs are not bad. They need doordash or Grubhub for delivery.

Sebastian's Ale & Whiskey House has a lot of promise: Friendly staff, big menu, cool patio, BIG…read morescreen TV... but they fall flat with the execution. We stopped in for dinner and several things went awry as soon as our food started to arrive. When my side salad arrived it came with Ranch dressing. Well, it was supposed to, but what came didn't look like Ranch, smell like Ranch, or taste like Ranch. I asked the food delivery guy for more, thinking he may have grabbed something else on accident, and he brought more of same. Bummer. Ate my salad sans dressing. Then the Kids pasta arrived, along with a side of carrots. And we waited. And waited. Then the Philly Egg Rolls arrived and the Baked Potato. And I waited. And waited. Finally my "meat loaf" arrived. Only it didn't look like meat loaf. I waited some more for the waitress to return only she never did. I had to get up and walk over to the bar, where she seemed to be busy inventorying liquor bottles, to ask her to look at the food to confirm it was the meat loaf. She immediately confirmed, then paused, then said "Um... no... that... let me check." and took my plate away. Some minutes later I finally received the meat loaf I ordered (which was tasty!, just that everyone else was done eating my this time). While I'm not sure what caused the Ranch to turn, the food to take so long and be delivered piece-meal (when it was NOT crowded AT ALL), and the confusion around the meat loaf (which was one of their "most ordered" items, so we were told when asking about some favorite dishes), I can say that our waitress was very friendly the entire time and apologized for the mess up. Given all of this, and the fact that I think the prices are inflated given the portion sizes, I don't know that we'll be back again.

It's my go‑to spot for a classic Fish Fry, and after years of coming here, it still never disappoints. We arrived a little after 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and, as expected, only waited about five minutes. The moment you step inside, you're met with a lively bar scene--TVs tuned to various games, tall tables lining both sides, and a steady buzz of conversation. People are eating, drinking, and genuinely enjoying themselves. What surprised me most was how many families were there, even with infants and toddlers in tow. And honestly, it was great to see. The kids were calm, the parents looked relaxed, and the whole place had this easygoing, everyone's‑welcome energy. We sat in the back, and the table was cleaned quickly. Our server Heather brought menus, though we already knew exactly what we wanted. The menu has a big selection, but for us it was three orders of the Fish Fry. You can substitute sides--sweet potato fries, tots, or onion rings--and the meal comes with hush puppies and coleslaw. Drinks and water arrived promptly, and the entrées followed soon after, piping hot. The fried fish was flaky and flavorful--nothing like the heavy, all‑batter, no‑fish situation you get at some places. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. We asked for refills and they arrived almost instantly. I'm already looking forward to coming back once the weather warms up so we can enjoy the patio. This place continues to be a reliable, welcoming spot with great food and an even better atmosphere.
