Must love these old fashioned movie theaters still around here. There's not too many original theaters like it these days. It's been awhile/maybe over nearly ten years since we stepped foot inside again. Parking lot is still very wide/spacious/convenient/huge land. Location is next to Hwy 101 off Shoreline Blvd. Amazing, you'll still notice plenty of lovely tall trees everywhere in the parking lot. This theater's public restrooms are well maintained. It feels like they have kept up good with new paint/furnitures/and even a cafe/bar, in case you want to lounge around or have a good cup of hot chocolate or mocha while waiting inside. Spacious high ceilings/lots of theater rooms/fully staffed/leather recliner seats/etc. There's usually a lot of customers coming to this one for big showings and special events. Very good new year vibes. Good ambience. We enjoyed our new year weekend movie inside. Lovely dome ceilings inside theater. Concession area looks awesome too. I'm really glad that they've remodeled the theater a bit since a decade ago. We will consider revisiting next time. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great start into new year 2026.

Went to the movies today to see F1. We ordered a medium popcorn which was just okay. I noticed it was getting hot in the theater because they didn't have the AC on. About halfway through the movie, the AC finally came on. Not sure why they don't keep it on the whole time, but it would make the experience more comfortable. The plus side to this movie theater is the huge parking lot. There is plenty of parking. The reclining seats are also comfortable.

It's been a while, so this is an update. We went to the new MI: Final Reckoning movie, and it was in one of the smaller auditoriums (14), but still comfy. The place was a little warm, so I asked if they could turn on the A/C, and they did. The same guys also took care of a seating issue next to us, which they did well. Kudos to the staff here, I now know why a home-streamed movie experience just can't replace the magic of a movie theatre with the sound quality and huge screen experience. The magic of a movie theatre is eternal, and I hope these places don't disappear. Still my favorite movie theatre!!

I have a lot of memories at this theater. I used to live next to it and have seen lots of movies here. I ended up coming back here since the movie we wanted to watch at the time we wanted was only playing here, so we took the drive...also for old-time's sake. It's a decent theater...not the most modern or biggest. I wish they had better and more food options.

Came here on a weekend night to watch a limited release movie and it did not disappoint! This theater has plenty of parking (parked 30 seconds after entering the lot) and it's in a nice location. There are ticket booths at the front but I had got my tickets online so I just had to enter and get them scanned by one of the employees in the lobby. There is also a small arcade in the lobby in case you have some time before/after your movie (I spent 30 minutes here since I was early). The bathrooms are also pretty clean and large so definitely a big plus. The auditorium was also pretty interesting. It felt more like a large living room than a standard theater auditorium (pictures below) but it was pretty comfortable with recliners and a big screen. Overall, it's a very nice theater! It's a bit further from my local theater but for limited releases not showing elsewhere I definitely will come back here.

Who can say no to deals on Tuesdays?! My family and I purchased four tickets to see Kung Fu Panda 4. Plenty of parking spaces. You might have to walk a bit from parking lot to the theater. I thought the water fountain in the front is a nice touch. The theater room is very different than other theaters I've been to. The layout, the decoration...and reclining chairs! The best part of this movie theater for sure. Theatre was about half full and overall, we had a great time. Definitely come on Tuesdays!

Great experience seeing a number of films here. Restrooms are clean, as well as the theaters themselves. The staff have always been friendly, and amount of parking is sufficient. Would advise not pushing your arrival too close to the start time of your movie though, in case the parking lot is more filled than usual.

Extreme shot is the best game at the arcade center. Some of the balls are flat lol

The seats are large, and there's a lot of space between rows, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic like traditional theaters can. I didn't order anything, and most people didn't either, and it wasn't weird. If you need accessible parking, there are multiple spots right outside the door. I went to two different showings: one in a regular theater and one in the Big Show auditorium. I found the sound quality in the regular theater to be a bit tinny, though the subs are nice. However, I do sound for a living, so the average person will feel the sound quality here is way, way better than what they have at home. Be aware that the regular theaters are not Dolby Atmos. The Big Show is indeed Atmos, and it's a cool experience to have sound in all three dimensions. However, the noise floor in the Big Show was a serious problem when I was there. The AC system was loud to my ears. The noise kills the vibe when you're watching something that is supposed to have silent moments. I have no idea why they would put a unit inside the auditorium rather than down the hall with acoustic ductwork. If they'd do something about the loud background noise in the theater, I'd give the place five stars.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The seats were comfortable, but the theater had a musty smell. We were also assigned wheelchair-accessible seats even though we didn't request or need them. The food selection was decent, but once the movie started, concessions were no longer available. The biggest issue was the movie presentation. We watched The Invite starring Seth Rogen, Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, but the experience was ruined by repeated buffering and playback glitches. At one point, the movie stopped completely. Since there wasn't anyone actively monitoring the auditorium, staff had to go find someone, which took about 10 minutes, and then bring them back to restart the film. With only two small auditoriums, we expected a smoother operation. Previous reviews gave us hope, but our visit fell well short of expectations. It's especially disappointing because this theater is so convenient for us. As much as we'd like to support independent theaters, we'll likely drive to Mountain View or Redwood City for a more reliable movie-going experience in the future.

Located right in the heart of downtown Redwood City, it's super convenient, and we usually park in the nearby lot since parking gets validated with a movie ticket. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they clean and sweep each auditorium after every showing. If you ever notice leftover popcorn or messes, that's typically from patrons. They do routine cleanups between shows, with deeper cleaning happening after closing, so it really helps when everyone tidies up after themselves to keep the experience enjoyable for the next guests. Being part of the Movie Club is another big perk! It's $11.99 per month, and unused tickets roll over; so I honestly haven't paid full price for a movie since the program started (even before the pandemic). The location also makes it a perfect date-night destination. With great dining options like Sakura across the street, Mazra down the block, and Limon around the corner; not to mention Philz Coffee and Café con Azúcar nearby; you've got endless choices to make a whole evening out of it.
