I would give Tatsumaki Range Hood a 0/5 stars if that was possible on Yelp. My parents purchased a…read morerangehood from them several years ago and the LED light already went out (LED lights typically have a lifespan of 11 years - we barely had ours for 3 years. I believe their warranty expires at 2 so what's the point anyway? That's how they get you). I emailed Tatsumaki asking how I can purchase a new light and if they have any recommendations on how the life of the light can be prolonged. I heard back from someone named Calvin a week later who only answered a part of my email, stating that they sell the lights. I emailed back requesting to purchase 2 lights (a back up in case the LED that's suppose to last 11 years dies after 2 again), and I didn't hear back for another week. I sent a follow up this time, still didn't hear back for another few days. Calvin replied that he can send me a purchase order link to pay but didn't send the link in that email (why????????) and I replied back right away saying, yes I would like that link. I didn't hear back for another week, and I sent another follow up requesting the link. I even called 3 times, don't waste your time calling because they never answer or get back to you. When I finally made my payment I noticed the purchase order only listed 1 light when I had requested 2, so I emailed Calvin, and after days, he replied "the order lists 1 but it comes with 2" - okay fine - well my parents received the order and of course it came with 1 damn light. I emailed him back right away, frustrated that this whole process has taken me a whole month only to get the incorrect quantity that I even verified after purchasing. This process as a whole took at least 6 weeks. So fregging ridiculous. Calvin was unapologetic of the companies mistakes and inefficiency. Literally the worst customer service I've experienced thus far. TLDR: Their customer service is ridiculous, they take at least a week to get back to you and they do not work efficiently. It took me a month to communicate (via email - I tried calling 3 times, they never answer or get back to you) to them that I wanted to purchase a light, and when it came, it was the incorrect quantity even though I emailed Calvin at the time of purchase stating I wanted 2 but the order form said 1, he said "It comes with two" AND IT DIDN'T. The entire process took ~ 6 weeks, and they/Calvin was unapologetic. Please consider a new system/process because whatever the process is at the moment is clearly ineffective and unproductive.

She sat back for a full 10 minutes and gave it serious thought before she made recommendations that were spot on in terms of style, function, and budget * Jennifer was highly collaborative, courteous, and humorous, stayed calm at all times, and was very reassuring. She's honest but diplomatic if you've made a selection she thinks you won't be happy with. * Jennifer was knowledgeable about her own inventory as well as products they don't even carry so she could compare them for you * When asked, she was quite honest about the quality of each fixture (frequency of problems and number of returns), and the integrity of the manufacturer (do they stand behind their products). This is information you can't get doing an internet search * Jennifer's estimates of delivery dates were 100% accurate. Some items even came in early. * Jennifer clearly identified which fixtures were returnable without a restocking fee (standard in-stock items) and which were not returnable (custom orders) * Excel Plumbing is open on Saturdays. Many plumbing supply houses are not * The average discount over the entire order was substantial for the fixtures we bought, and was better than that offered by any other showroom In addition to all of that, Jennifer understands the emotional toll from renovations and reduces concerns where she can: * Your home is in chaos and daily routines are disrupted (she can't help you there) * The wide selection of brands can be daunting (she helps you cut through the clutter of information, and whittle down the options) * You are concerned about making costly mistakes (she helps you make choices with confidence and can also point you towards products that can be returned without penalty) * You might feel urgency to get the renovation done before holiday guests arrive (she can tell you which items are in stock and if not in stock, which manufacturers' estimated delivery dates are reliable) * Your contractor may be pressing you towards products you don't want or like (she can help you identify alternative products you do like) Jennifer has our highest recommendation.

We walked into their showroom in South San Francisco not knowing what to expect, and were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Bailey. Little did we know, that moment would mark the start of both a great project and a lasting connection. Bailey is professional, knowledgeable, sincere, and incredibly patient--everything you'd hope for in a salesperson. I originally was just looking for flooring at KZ but Bailey made us feel so comfortable we ended up getting pretty much everything here. One stop shop to save time and energy . He offered thoughtful advice every step of the way and was always there when we needed help. Even on his day off, he went out of his way to make sure everything was prepared for us. That level of dedication is truly top-notch. Their pricing is competitive, but for me, outstanding service makes all the difference--and Bailey delivered exactly that. If you're planning any remodeling, I highly recommend giving KZ Cabinet and Stone a try. Be sure to ask for Bailey--you won't regret it. The only negative feedback I have is the warehouse pick up staff may not be the most friendly but the job gets done.

My wife and I came in on a Sunday morning, just behind another family with older parents. Coincidentally we were both looking at bathroom vanities. A sales rep followed the other family to look at everything while we were ignored. After we made our decisions ourselves, we made our way to the front to the comp coffee machine thinking someone will come help us. Not a single rep in sight. At the coffee machine, warehouse staff were making multiple cups to pour into their thermos and coughing/sneezing all over the cups and lids. We went back to vanities without a coffee. We got back to vanities (coffee is front of the warehouse, vanities in the far back) and still not a single rep. We made this walk at least 4 times. We confirmed our decisions and we walked back to the front, again no one. At the front, I finally saw the entire sales staff doing something in a back corner so I called out if I can get some help. I apologize if I bothered them! No comments from the sales rep who helped print my order, no asking what I needed help with. He just followed us and I told him. No comments when I told him we walked for an hour without any help As we were paying, a cashier had to come from that same busy corner to take my card. As I was paying, the sales rep who was busy with the other family comes up to see what we bought. When he was working with them for a sale, we were walking back and forth around their group so I know he noticed us. Maybe he realizes he missed the sales on his record. Again, if I had other better options, I would have gone elsewhere.

The showroom is well laid out, two floors, attractive, not confusing, with a range of prices from, say, Delta, Moen and Kohler to higher end brands. (I think lower costs on the bottom floor, higher-end upstairs.) Free parking lot to the side of the building, which you need in the Mission. It's important to see and touch as many of these products as you can. We worked with Keoki Garner. He was well informed, timely, easily available, and collaborative. He stayed cheerful when I overrode him and then changed things last minute (due to my own mistakes.) I loved that I could do research on Build.com and then bring it to Keoki. He never upsold or resisted when I went, say, for Kohler over Grohe. Everything so far has been delivered impeccably and undamaged. Build.com offers an enormous range of products, and I like that too. You can return within a reasonable amount of time. We haven't started construction yet but almost everything is sourced and in the garage. We have a clear billing record so much came from Build.com. I ended up gravitating to some more expensive fixtures, but not because of pressure, because of my own preference. I'd definitely do business with Keoki and with Ferguson again.
