I took my 2018 mini countryman in for an oil change. The previous mini service rep had given me a discount on oil changes the new rep could not find any information to prove that so they charge me more for it. another service rep insisted I needed new tires on my car. I said I'll check out Sam's Club. he insudyed that I need mini tires because of warranty he said Sam's Club didn't have warranties which is a lie. I felt pressured to get tires. so i agreed to have them done. however they found other issues with my car. Also the tires were late and the service managercwsnted to keep my car over the weekend. which does not make any sense, I told them at this point I don't want tires or any other work done. the service people came up with an almost $10000 bill for my old mini. I felt that the service men took advantge of me as I am a woman and disabled. I do not trust this service department at all. they just want to make money off of you. read more

BUY YOUR MINI ANYWHERE ELSE! With only 1 dealer in my immediate area, I've had to do business with Century Mini for 3 cars. But no more! During the buying process, they checked my credit multiple times for the same car which lowers my score; this happened with each car. They also used high pressure tactics to force you to sign your deal so the Sales Rep can get his quota Worst of all, their Title team takes 5 weeks to process your new registration which, this most recent time, meant that the registration expired by the time it arrived. Century forced me to drive to the Tax Office the day my tax is due because of their slow processing time. Each person I've dealt with on the Sales team takes no responsibility but provides plenty of excuses. I love the Mini Cooper, but this dealership is unorganized, uncooperative, inefficient, and greedy. The Service department has been stellar, but the Sales department needs A LOT of work. 3 times was not the charm! I'll go to NC to buy my next Mini in the Upstate! read more

Went here today specially on our day off. Rode the bike so we had all our bike gear on and not one person asked us if they could help us. We wanted to buy a Mini Cooper S convertible but seemed like only one guy on the mini side of things and he was busy helping some other customers. The BMW peeps didn't speak to us either. This dealership has zero Covid precautions. Every member of their EchoPark team is not wearing a mask and one member is constantly coughing, sniffling, and seems to have no regard for six feet. A basic regard for safety would be appreciated as car service can't always be avoided and not everyone takes precautions as flippant as this location. read more

We recently had our Mini serviced (and it was handled beautifully!). While it was there, our other car died en route to work. Fortunately for us, Century has Mickey!! Mickey picked up my husband at work, got him to Century where he retrieved our Mini in a very timely manner and was able to return to work without missing a beat. Mickey (and Tessa - who answered the phone and helped us arrange the connections) are amazing. Dropped off mini for recall notice. Honda offers shuttle to work and back but BMW Mini doesn't? Thats strange to me. I was able to drop off early but picking up late is not an option here. The recall was completed free of charge but I was offered over $4000 worth of possible repairs! After reviewing the optional repairs I was surprised they did such a poor inspection. On one portion they claimed an item was leaking and needed an $800 repair then on the next page it says the levels was perfect. My husband reviewed the worksheet and was not happy with the strange requests from this repair shop. read more

I was on a road trip and my fan for the power steering wouldn't go off when I turned off the car. As you can imagine this killed my battery. I tried calling a few Dealerships in South Carolina and North Carolina for a quick repair. Many didn't return my call and most couldn't get me in for a few days not Century. Hagen returned my calls and got me in right away. The repair took a number of hours, probably because 12 parts needed to be replaced. Hagen checked on me to let me know the status and took very good care of me. We didn't get quotes for other repairs, just professional service and they even made my muddy car look fabulous again. On suspicion that my timing chain was going bad, I made an appointment with Century Mini in Greenville, SC. Received a phone call from Hagen Shirley who was very knowledgeable about my issue. Dropped the vehicle off (Friday) and because of the workload and the holiday weekend (Independence Day), I was given a loaner and was told that they will let me know when it would be done. After four days, I decided to give a courtesy call to the dealership/service desk and I continued to receive the dreaded voice mail. Long story short, I didn't get my vehicle back until 7 days later. What I discovered is that Hagen was the only service technician working at the desk. I believe that this dealership needs to employ more service technicians to accommodate the workload of service since you have many customers driving a great distance (150 miles) for service. At the very minimum, have at least someone present who can answer the incoming calls. The actual work was excellent. My only complaint is they need to hire more employees to help Mr. Shirley who provided top notch service in spite of the workload he was carrying. read more

I purchased a mini from this dealership which is 150 miles away because I found them much easier to work with than the Mini dealer 4 miles away. My Sales Rep was Chase Cronin, and he was very accommodating as we negotiated from afar. My car was not in inventory, so we had it built, and Chase was helpful keeping us updated. Out of state purchases can be a little more tricky and we appreciated the dealership's effort to obtain the car's plate and title without ever having to set foot inside the DMV. I also found Chase's detailed presentation when picking up the car very very helpful as these cars get more and more advanced. read more

This was my second (unexpected) visit to Century MINI this year. Both times I was driving down from Charlotte to visit family for the weekend and had a check engine light come on. Both times Ron at Century MINI was so accommodating and was able to fit me in and get my car back to me the same day (on a Saturday, no less!). I recently purchased a 2012 Mini Cooper S Countryman from Carmax. It came with no manual so I had no idea how to program much of the computer driven apps in the car. As we have no Mini dealership close by, I decided to try Century Mini in Greenville which is an hour and a half from me. I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman, Bonnie Parker, at the service desk. Even though there were several people waiting to be served, she took the time to listen to my issues, give suggestions and helped me decide what services my car needed then and there. Nothing outrageous or excessive. They do offer a shuttle service that will take you anywhere you want to go, and who will pick you up when you call he driver, Tom. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They did find a small issue with car for which I made an appointment there to have repaired and I look forward to doing business with them in future. And, oh by the way, I am a 65 year old woman. read more

Took my Mini in to get looked at the brake light was on again. Turns out my front rotors/pads needs redone again . They were just done 2 1/2 years ago. Beside that got a water pump leaking. There are scratches on my transmission pan and engine pan damaged due to these lovely SC roads. I have an extended warranty and Bonnie was supposed to get it verified for the water pump to get replaced. Week later we heard nothing and called for f/u and was told they couldn't get in touch with warranty company. I called the # on there and had no issues getting thru. Evidently since my Mini is used and they didn't sell me the extended warranty it's too much trouble for them to do extended warranty work. Guess I will have to go elsewhere now for the water pump repair and front break job. When it's time for an upgrade on the Mini we won't be buying at Century Mini. read more

Century Mini and the crooks within strike again!!There was a sensor on my Mini that had been recalled in 2012-2013, Century Mini entered in my digital work log that they changed it... but surprise, surprise.... they never did.... now around 4 years later, all thanks to their lazy incompetence, I just had to pay over $400 out of pocket to have this sensor ACTUALLY changed (for the FIRST time) along with 4 spark plugs that got flooded as a result of the faulty sensor. Thankfully I found a shop who does quality, honest work, but nonetheless, it's $400 I should not have had to pay. I'm once again boggled at how this place is still in business, and beyond frustrated that I'm still being haunted by their unethical dealings even though I stopped taking my car there long ago. This is not the first dishonest run in I've had with them but it will hopefully be the last. I will most definitely be reporting them to the BBB to hopefully save others from Century destroying their cars and gouging prices. read more

This is the worst service department I have ever experienced for a new car. I bought my mini hardtop in May 2015. There were multiple problems from the beginning. The service staff are friendly, but they find every way possible to avoid accepting responsibility for any problems. Today was the final straw. My car is 3 years old with 26,426 miles. The sidewall on my front tires is coming apart. When I called to ask about bringing it in, they said I did not buy the tire warranty, so I have no warranty on my tires. Said my salesman should have told me that. Believe me, there are a lot of things that the salesman should have told me. Really? What new car does not have a warranty on the tires? What makes it worst? I just had it in for routine maintenance in May, only 1800 miles ago, and nothing was noticed or mentioned. When I mentioned this to the service person, her response. Well we don't look at the tires during routine maintenance. When could they schedule me for an appointment? Sometime next week - so I must drive around on a tire that is seriously in danger of a major blowout until some time next week! Horrible service, I would never buy another Mini in the Greenville area because of this service department. There is no other Mini service department within a few hours drive of my area. I would have to deal with this department. Totally not worth it! Please read other reviews that express ethical concerns about the service from this dealership. I had a recall on a seat mat sensor which took nearly a year to receive the parts(due to back order=not century's fault) yet reassured it was safe to drive even thought the passenger airbag would not deploy(ignorant and risky). all together took roughly 10 months for entire recall repair. the recall has a 2 year warranty on the part, well the air bag light came on again and the fob indicated air bag module and seat mat sensor but I was informed that (through visual inspection only) the module was damaged due to liquid spill (normal humidity in my opinion and another service manager from another dealership) and they had to repair that part before repairing the seat mat sensor, which would cost $1500. I spoke with national mini and was informed that a true diagnostic should be completed to find the exact reason for the module failure as the seat mat could have caused this. I have called numerous times in the last couple days and even left messages(2 to be exact= just before noon and around 16:00) for the service manager and have yet to hear back nor do I hardly even get a receptionist on the phone read more
