Steak and fried and taco Tuesday chicken quesadilla with house salsa.

Awesome food and environment. The staff is so attentive and friendly. 100% recommend the square cheese curds. They also have all flavors of vodka. Perfect for a mid day pick me up or pre game in the down town area. Steak cooked perfectly. Will be coming back!

Sunday Prime Rib Sandwich, roll beneath the sluce.

Found this great little bar on a Sunday at 11 am. Had a sign advertising the prime Rib sandwich, lemon chicken soup, cream of tomato soup and chili. Oh, and $5 mimosa or bloody mary. All sounded great. The man sweeping at entry told us it was great, he was right. Swift service, and the pictures show the great food. The prime rub was tender and we ordered medium rare, so pink.the au jus was the best. There is a dessert case with various tempting treats, but we had no room. I made my husband skip a breakfast place for this, he was grateful.

Prime rib sandwich, LUNCH SPECIAL, yes there's a nice roll under there and the au jus is to the side.

I was biking today, because it was so beautiful. I thought I'd stop at Century Pub to get out of the sun for a bit and maybe grab a bite. My original thought was just some wings, but I know they have a great deal on a prime rib sandwich on Sunday's. The gentleman next to me suggested it, highly. I thought, why not! The portion was huge, it was delicious. Needless to say, the leftovers will probably serve two more meals for me. I highly recommend. The staff is always fantastic, to boot. Pardon what I had already eaten. Not to mention, it's $9 with a side of your choice.

a pretzel with a bowl of soup

If you're look for good food at super affordable prices, this is your place! Don't mistake the prices for a lack of quality, because the flavors are spot on. The giant pretzel is a traditional Bavarian style with a crisp outside and super soft I side - served with a spicy cheese sauce. The Italian Beef is flavorful, lean, and tender. Daily specials rock. And drinks are always at a great price point! Owner said "we don't have a happy hour because every hour is happy hour." Nice location, pub atmosphere, digital jukebox! Winning!

You can't beat these prices for a quick meal anywhere in Kenosha! The service is quick and friendly. You get the best bang for your buck here. Don't expect anything glamorous- this place is like home- dimly lit, doors open on a nice day, kinda rough around the edges. The friendly staff and good food make it worth coming back (not to mention the $1.50 spotted cow!).

It was a weeknight, but the street we were driving up to get here was a little dark and run down. But don't let that deter you. They have a nice sized parking lot for their location. Then we walked inside and found a narrow room with a bar running the length of one long wall and counter height tables and chairs perpendicular to the opposite wall. They really jammed in as much as they could in the space that they have. The ambience was dark and moody. They were playing hard rock and the bar had a couple of regulars sitting inside. At the end of the bar at the far end, was a cubicle of a kitchen. That's where the magic happens. Their menu is simple: appetizers, burgers, and build your own burgers. That's it. We all built our own burgers and they have a LOT of options. However, the build your own may start at $9, but each topping adds to the cost. But who cares? The burgers were phenomenal! Their website clearly states, "Best burgers, ever." And they're not wrong. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. And everything is made in this tiny area at the end of the bar. We were the only people in the place after about 20 minutes, but again, who cares. The staff were extremely friendly. Their playful banter and bickering when they cleaned up was hilarious to listen to, and they were lovely to talk to as well. One of our group wanted to pick up some Spotted Cow beer (you can't get it in Illinois) and asked about a place to get it nearby. They suggested Shenanigan's with a drive-through just a couple blocks away. We have to make another trek back. They are awesome and their burgers are great, too!

We were immediately greeted by the nicest man, Bear! He welcomed us and went over the ordering process and their special. I ordered the boring chicken tenders but my brother ordered The Hog Burger. Wow! They weren't playing about that creation. Big, juicy, with chicharrones spilling out of the sides. My brother never looked happier. But honestly, besides the delicious food, stop by and say hi to Bear. He made a regular lunch an adventure. Great conversations, easy going and just a great guy!

The bar is a tad small so it can get busy in there pretty quickly. We got a table right at the main entrance and we were served promptly and pleasantly. I got help with ordering, which can be common for first timers, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. They have a nice tap list so getting a cold, refreshing beer was a must! My one critique if you will, the fries were limp.. not soggy but definitely not crispy. I didn't even bother finishing them, but the burger was filling enough that it didn't matter much. If I am in the area, I would stop here again and try a different burger, because they all looked so dang good!!

The only parking option I saw was on the street. Inside it's attractive with its own nautical character. Its food menu is burger centric and is kind of complicated to figure out. You complete a form that itemizes the kind of burger, fries, etc that you want. Even my waitress tried to help me and she got confused. Ha! I finally ordered a bowl of their beer cheese soup to start for $10.45. I then added an 8 oz grass fed beef burger with hand cut fresh fries for another $12.45. Yes, it was more food than I needed but I wanted to try the beer cheese soup which was delivered first with 4 pieces of sourdough bread. The soup was delicious being rich in cheesy flavor with cheese strings and bacon bits on top. It was a full bodied flavor soup and with the bread I could have made a meal of just this. After finishing the soup, the burger and fries appeared. It was a hearty and very good tasting burger on a quality bread bun. Also the fries were very good tasting with a good potato flavor. I couldn't finish it all but I wanted to. With a drink and tax it was about $28 before tip. I'm glad I had lunch here.

Hence, we almost always visit Tenuta's because there isn't quite anything like it by me. But that's a different review... I say all that to say, after getting Italian meatballs, cookies, and Cannolis from Tenuta's, you will immediately notice Ron's Place, right across the street!! They have a local and dedicated following. Yes, you will see Green Bay Packers decorations and people in Packers clothing, gasp!! But!! Their burgers are incredible and so are the cheese curds. They are also known for their Long Island teas but it's kinda early for me when I come here. Check out my pics - I always get the cheese curds, chicken strips, I've switched it up from time to time with my burger selection. Today, we got the extreme burger and it's definitely shareable, it's a gigantic double patty cheeseburger (I selected American cheese). Great service, cool & local Vibes, diners are usually talking shop, the people sitting next to you will be catching up and talkin about Jack and Diane. You can look directly into the open kitchen and see them preparing the great plates of food. I still ate it because I didn't dislike it and I didn't feel like going back to have them replace it, but if it was Cajun it wasn't spicy enough for how I like Cajun food. The smoked garlic brat was great and worth the $1 upcharge. I appreciate that the fries were battered and had plenty of crispy pieces in the box.
