I initiated my job through Century Shower Door as they are a subcontractor through Home Depot. I believed this to be a signal of quality or trustworthiness, as I'd had other similar subcontractor experiences through Home Depot that were positive. Unfortunately I was wrong. Initial outreach to Century was positive--their sales team was very responsive and on the ball, seemingly all the time. Within just a few days of my initial outreach, we had plans for somebody to come out and take measurements. He came out, was professional, and showed me a number of materials options. I told him I would talk it over with my spouse, and he left. This part of the interaction was good, but it was all the sales part. After a few weeks, I signed the contract to begin the job. This was middle of November, 2025. The contract states the job was beginning on that date of signing, with an estimated completion time of December 2025. I implicitly understood that this may need to flex a little due to the holidays, but expected some follow-ups and clear communication around manufacturing process and installation scheduling. NOBODY EVER CONTACTED ME TO SCHEDULE AN INSTALLATION DATE I called. I texted. I emailed. Texting was the most responsive. Week after week, if I ever did get a response, I would be told they were waiting on a part, or that somebody would reach out to schedule the installation. Nobody ever did. EVER. So here I am. I've paid for a shower door 3 months ago that hasn't been installed and doesn't even have an installation date. I've made every effort to contact the business. I'm left to file a credit card dispute to get my money back. Beware that this is an organizational failure. My husband and I had a terrible experience with Century Shower Door. Home Depot is doing its customers a disservice by using this company as a subcontractor. Our frameless shower door project was supposed to take only 3-4 weeks to complete, but it was never finished. I had to fight with Home Depot to cancel the project and ultimately file a dispute with my credit card company to recover the full amount of my refund. The company does not return phone calls, and the only update they provide is that the project is "in production." They require full payment before a contract is even signed, whether you work with them directly or through Home Depot. I would caution anyone considering doing business with this company. read more

1. Took them over a month to manufacture and install. 2. The original glass door was bowed detected by installer. 3. New door on second try was leaking between the seam. 4. The came a third, fourth and fifth time and it still leaks even with using a squeegee for about an hour. Without the squeegee several hours. 5. Have sent them many pictures including over a week ago and today. The installers are great people but the product is flawed. Should have read all the reviews before purchasing but there's little competition. Terrible customer service and unprofessionalism!! I requested a service provider through Home Depot and was contacted via text by Century Shower Doors asking a couple questions about my shower. I responded immediately and never got any response. I waited a couple days to see if anyone would respond, and they never did. I called their business number and had to leave a message for someone to return my call. No one ever called or text. I called them again to leave a message for a call back. When the sales manager called he said "I see we have text and called you with no response." No Sir, your company has not been responding to me. I ordered a shower door six weeks ago. The gentleman Scott, who came out to do the measurement was actually great and gave wonderful customer service. I was really hopeful that the full experience was going to be just as good as the experience dealing with Scot. Unfortunately, nobody calls back to schedule the installation. I made the mistake by paying for it all upfront. So now I'm trying to either get it installed or get my money back. You can't get a hold of anybody you tried to call the office. Their voicemail says to text them or to message them on their website nothing works. The receptionist is virtually useless. I'm so disappointed as this is a company that did my shower door 20+ years ago and it was a company my father used when he had his tile business. Getting a quote is fine, sales man is nice, they tell you the lead time is 2-3 weeks and then they ask for full payment. You pay, then you never hear from them again. They cancel the original install date with no explanation other than "it's not ready", and they don't bother to try and reschedule. No one calls you back, if you do get into contact with someone they'll just tell you "oh it's still in production" over a month after you ordered it but no one has any real, actual updates to give you or a new install date. Believe all the bad reviews, go literally anywhere else. Or if you do go here, make sure you pay with a credit card so you can dispute the charge when they inevitably ghost you and don't provide the product/service you paid for. read more

Worked with this company through Home Depot, first mistake. Do not go through Home Depot, the margins these vendors make are low, so, they have to sell high volume vs quality. Second, glass shower was installed, leaked since day 1, silicone was a mess, and had the most ridiculous exchange over several months trying to get the thing fixed. Finally just hired someone else who ripped out and replaced the POC that this company installed and I got a refund from Home Depot. I had an initial meas taken even though I told the man we hadn't started on our shower yet. now everything is done and it's been terrible to get them back out again. you can't talk with anyone and when they do text back with a time frame, and you don't respond right away they don't schedule you. I feel like you are texting a machine. So today I had a confirmed time of 10-1 and they never showed up, never called and don't answer their texts. I ordered shower doors over a month ago, gave them a large deposit, and have not been able to get any answer to when or if I will ever get them. They do not answer, or answer and then disconnect, or answer and say someone will call back. NO ONE has ever called back in over a month. The salesman also can't get any information on any orders. What a scam!!! DO NOT EVER GET CENTURY SHOWER DOOR! First of all, they require 100% payment upfront, which I found weird, and I really should have listened to my instinct. Normally, suppliers would ask for partial payment, then the balance upon completion. I agreed because they were a referral by Home Depot, and I thought they must be legit if they were vetted by Home Depot. Anyway, I was promised a 4-6 week lead-time. By the 4th week, I was following up, and they said, "Well, the lead time is 6 weeks." So I followed up again on the 6th week and they were not responsive at all. I emailed, sent a text, called, and nobody was getting back to me. The hotline for the Dispatch Department (those responsible for scheduling installation), mysteriously, is ALWAYS unmanned. I called up the Sales Department and, to no one's surprise, somebody always, always answers! So I asked for the status and they said, "oh I don't know, I'm sales, I'm not dispatch. You need to talk to dispatch." It's now been 10 weeks, and I have not gotten an answer from them, not even an apology that it's taking longer than promised. This company is obviously focused too much on closing the sale, when they could not even fulfill existing orders. They will take your money, and leave you hanging and ghost you, while they are too busy scamming other homeowners! read more

BUYER BEWARE - THIS BUSINESS WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO INTENTION OF FULFILLING THE CONTRACT. TL;DR Multiple customers, including myself, reporting here and on BBB that Century Shower Door will come take your measurements, promise your door in 3-6 or 4-8 weeks, and then fail to contact you and in many cases never deliver the door. You will spend inordinate amount of time trying to get them to call you back and fulfill the contract. You will MAYBE get your door or you will have to cancel and file a dispute for the charge on your credit card becase they won't issue a refund after even more repeated calling and leaving of voicemails. The Whole Story We contacted Century Shower Door in January 2025 directly as we had a shower door installed by them 15 or so years before through Home Depot. That experience was fantastic - no issue at that time. They came out and measured and gave us a reasonable quote. We accepted the quote and put a $900 deposit down. We were told 4-8 weeks. 8 weeks later, my husband called to find out when to expect the installation. Crickets. My husband called several more times and finally got a call back. There was an issue with several backordered parts. Note that this is the EXACT SAME REASON in the complaints filed with the BBB and others here on Yelp. 4 more weeks went by of my husband trying to find out when our door would be installed. Since they weren't calling my husband back, I spent time trying to get a hold of Adam on 4/6/25. Adam apparently is the owner and sole manager of any kind at this company, according to the unnamed woman who answers the phone and calls herself the receptionist. I called 3 times that day and finally left a message, and since he didn't call me back, I called 3 more times the next day and finally got a hold of him. He gave me a NOT customer-service oriented answer about backorders and that they were trying. However they never once called to update us on any kind of scheduling or backorders at any point in time across these almost 4 months since 1/15/25. (Same story as MANY others) Enough was enough so I requested my contract be canceled and for my money to be refunded. He told me he canceled the contract and that I would get my money to my original payment method within 7-10 business days. Well, guess what? I'm sure you can't guess...yeah that's right, I didn't get my money in 7-10 business days. So I called back on 4/22 and left a message for Adam. Adam didn't call me back....again. Big surprise, right? I gave him 2 days, and again on 4/24. This time I tried to make it abundantly clear how patient I'd been and how upset I was about my money being held hostage. The receptionist told me he wasn't "in yet" (it was nearly 9:30am!) so I begged her to tell Adam as soon as he came in that this was very serious and I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card that day if he didn't call me back. She didn't even let me finish what I was saying before she put me through to his voicemail. I let him know I was going to dispute the charge or take him to small claims court if the credit card company wouldn't do the chargeback. He never called back. Again. Thankfully the credit card company allowed me to file the dispute so I'll get my money back. Meanwhile, I had encountered these Yelp reviews claiming the same problems and realized my mistake of just going with the company who served me well in the past rather than actually doing the research again. Seems an awful lot like a pattern of holding up people's money for a really long time. Nice that they're making a profit on our money while we're not. Hmm, isn't there a word for that....??? zero customer service. Century Shower Door installed my frameless shower years ago and i now need to repair a leak in the shower pan. Had their sales rep come out 2 weeks ago to quote temporarily removing the shower and reinstalling once the shower pan repair was complete. I received a written estimate and thought all was well. when i contacted the rep on Friday 8/1 to schedule the job he said he needed to "check with someone" and would call me back. When I didnt receive a callback I called again yesterday 8/5 and was now being told they cant do it because the shower wont fit after the repair. what? what changed in the 2 weeks since the quote? The rep claims the shower pan repair will change the shape of the shower and the glass wont fit. This is the same shower pan repair that was discussed during my home estimate 2 weeks ago. Why waste 2 weeks of my time? I called to speak with a manager who was less than professional or empathetic about the situation. He basically told me they cant do what i am asking so what did I want him to do! lets start with using properly trained reps in the field. if the reinstall wasnt possible after the intended repair the rep should have stated this and not quoted me for work that wasnt doable. Finally I pressed 1 for new orders and got right through. I then received a text from dispatch telling me the materials for my door were still on back order. by then it was July 26. I was told 6-8 weeks to get my door. I told them to cancel. I asked for a phone call but never got one. I left vm's for manager Adam who never responded. Century Shower Door through Home Depot is still the worst vendor on the planet. They finally installed my shower door after 4 months. However, there have been several leaks. They have come and tried to fix the leaks FIVE times. May be the sixth time will be a charm. I have to place towels where the leaks are located in order to shower. It takes a minimum of three touch points to get any response. And, when they do, they keep asking for the same damn info that I already provided. They do NOT care since they are contracted by Home Depot. I really wish they would just come and take their crap and refund my money. I refuse to sign the completion form until its fixed. The installer had the audacity to tell me to sign the completion form of an incomplete project because its under warranty. DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT contractors. They are a nightmare. I called after 2 weeks, and my sales guy said speak to dispatch. I tried call they phone system and left a message, and still 4 weeks later never received a call. Then, I did get a hold of Donna who was very polite and tried to help but she is only just the messeger. She told me I needed to contact Adam the maanger. We had the shower door made and installed by Century Shower Door through HomeDepot. We did not know who will be the subcontractor of HomeDepot until after we signed the contract with HomeDepot. The installation was absolutely horrible. First, they did not show up on the scheduled time and we were not even notified. We had to find out they would not come on that day only after we called them. When they showed up after rescheduling, they were rude, made comments about asking them to wear booties within the house. After they left, we noticed damages on our bathtub that had been freshly resurfaced by a company that specializes in tub resurfacing. To explain better, the existing shower door had been removed, tub resurfaced and then the tub was not been in use waiting for the new shower door to be installed. The damages to the tubs were not deep or big but noticible. And we were obviously not happy. More importanly, the two doors were not installed evenly and we could not properly close them. Additionally, there were leaks everywhere. We we contacted them with the issues, we did not hear back from them. I eventually had to threaten them that I will contact Better Business Bureau amont others. When the technicians came out, they were absolutely rude and condesending. Completely denied that they made the damages, implying that we were liars. After the job was completed, we found bad scraches on the shower doors and noticed that they stripped a screw and jammed piece of paper to stablize it. Come on, a piece of paper in the shower area! Now, we adjust the shower door periodically ourselves as we do not want them to come out and damage more of our things. This is the worst experience we had with any contractors over the years. But they do not care about customer experience because contracts come from HomeDepot. Please stay away from this company and HomeDepot for any shower door work. read more

The customer service was great, if I called after hours, I would leave a message, I always received a response the following day. The installers were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. This business is quick to take your money upfront but then will mysteriously become unavailable when it is time to fulfill your order. Just to let you know the installers did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Much appreciated. However, I did tell the installer that one door was rubbing and a little stiff while the other door opened and closed smoothly. He suggested we use it a few days and see if it eases up. I feel like I bought a misrepresented product and I had to keep going out of my way to call them for an appointment for installation. I didn't get what I was expecting and the frame was damaged so they sent the salesperson back to take a look. When the salesperson, Steve Faucett, came for the recall, he banged at my door very loudly and rang the door bell several times. I asked him to take his shoes off and he questioned me back. I took him to the bathroom and told him that I didn't get to see what I was buying. He blatantly said that I lied about him not showing me pictures of the shower door. I said that he didn't show them to me and he continued to yell at me and then said I forgot that he did. I said that I'm telling you what happened. Anyway, I thought I was getting a frameless with a see through glass. His drawing and the one on the website doesn't look like what I got. I got a framed with an obscure glass. I told him that I don't know what obscure means and he aggressively replied yes you do. I said no I don't but if you talk to me about bookkeeping then I'll understand. Furthermore, I said the hardware doesn't match my bathroom. He said that they don't get to choose what hardware comes with the shower door. I said then you should of shown me what it looked like before I bought it. I changed the subject and asked him if someone will come out to fix the scuff marks and scratches on the top frame. He said yes while writing up the work order. I asked him what's the time frame and he said that he doesn't know then changed his answer to 10 business before someone reaches out to me. I don't know what he wrote since he didn't give me a copy. This guy was very rude and mean spirited. He didn't care about my concerns. He cared more about fighting me on every issues and proving that he's in the right. It doesn't make sense to sell a product based on a diagram instead of an actual picture. I feel cheated paying $670 for a framed with an obscure glass. I thought I was paying $670 for a frameless with a clear glass. Regardless of what I signed, it was his job to disclose exactly what he was selling me. He didn't order what I wanted and lied by not explaining what he was ordering for me. read more

I had total 7 shower doors and shower enclosures installed in my house and rentals by Century Shower Door directly in the last 10 years (because I really like the guy "Bob" who is very good at doing measurements), without actually knowing the real differences, because 5 of them I didn't get to use them in my rentals. I though all shower doors are suppose work like the two in my house. I recently found out it's not. Take two example doors I use frequently: 1. I can see lights through the top corners of railing on my shower doors, they're not cut to fit the walls correctly. 2. The doors rattles between brackets, they're not fitted correctly. I do have one other shower door at another house that was fitted tight/correctly, it doesn't rattle. 3. One of the shower door at my guest room almost never get uses has different size glass doors, when they're both at open position against wall, one is wider than the other. I don't see it when the doors are closed. It was my fault didn't check when they installed it. Only saw it one day when I fixed a faucet. I don't know how they can make mistake like that? Like they were made by two different factories. I have a picture of the door. I guess 1. & 2. were depend on the installer, I probably got two sub-qualified ones one the same day. Tough luck. But 3. is unbelievable. I'm not saying you shouldn't use Century Shower Door, because I do have doors and enclosures made by them working well. But I suggest you check installation details very carefully before you pay them. read more

This company was wonderful to deal with, had great pricing, and they did a great job. Logan came out and did measurements and provided the estimate with no added high pressure sales pitch. Once the glass needed to be installed, they flew a third guy in to help and installed the shower glass in about 3-4 hours. It's been over a month now and no problems. I highly recommend the ultra clear glass (no green tint) and the glass protection, which makes cleaning a breeze. I highly recommend this company and I would certainly use them again. Went with 1/2 inch thick glass for the panel and 3/8 inch thick for the door, which swings in and out. As an added bonus, they offered a military discount - much appreciated.
