Lunch special with Caesar salad

Such a quick service. Everything was super clean and the people were so sweet and friendly. I got the lunch special with Caesar salad, top notch!

Nice patio with a yard for the kiddos to run around and not disturb dinners

If you're in Oak Cliff, you have to hit up Cenzo's Pizza & Deli on W 10th. It's a super cool spot--they actually converted an old Mobil gas station into this vintage, neighborhood pizza joint with a massive, dog-friendly patio. The Food: The menu is way bigger than just pizza. Their NY-style pies are light and crispy (the Winnetka is the move if you like a little spice), but the meatball subs and whipped ricotta are just as good. They also have plenty of vegan and veggie options, which is a nice plus. The Vibe & Staff: The crew there is always friendly and moves fast even when the patio is packed. It feels very local and laid-back. Parking: Unlike a lot of places in this area, they actually have their own free parking lot, which makes it an stress-free stop for a quick lunch or a weekend hangout. Definitely a 10/10 neighborhood gem if you want great pizza and a chill atmosphere

Wow you will not be disappointed eating here! Easily top 5 best spots for pizza in dfw! This is a hidden gem! The cheese sticks were some of the best I've ever had! I heard their chicken Parmesan is top notch as well only served on Thursday's! The pizza was great had lots of flavor crust was great and the sauce was on point as well! Everything felt fresh and very high ingredients! Service was awesome and the guy at the front helped us choose some of the best options! Ambiance was perfect lots of seating and the patio garage doors were open and the weather was perfect! Will definitely be back!!

Cenzo's is such a hidden gem -- right in the heart of the neighborhood and absolutely worth the visit. My husband and I decided to stop in for lunch on a whim, and it ended up being the best decision of the day. I got the lunch special (a slice of pizza and a salad), and he ordered the turkey club -- both were fantastic. You can tell everything's made with care... even the croutons are homemade! We shared a bottle of prosecco and made our own mimosas while relaxing on their patio, soaking up the sunshine. The vibe was chill, the staff couldn't have been friendlier, and it honestly just felt like the perfect neighborhood spot to kick back and enjoy good food and great company. We'll definitely be back!

The pizza here is always amazing and the workers are always nice. This is one of the best spots for good Roman-ish pie. Check out their lunch and happy hour specials for great deals! And whatever you do try the fried potato chip mozzarella sticks.

I've lived in oak cliff for 3 years and i can't believe it's taken me this long to come here! To be fair, i don't eat good pizza very often. I usually end up with Costco or dominos bc I'm cheap. I came here for lunch and shared a pizza that had 2 diff types on it with my friend and it was so freaking good. I need to come back for more immediately. Our pizza was half hollywood and half clinton. On paper the clinton sounded better to me but it had more of a mild flavor. They were both delish but the stand out was the hollywood with all those jalapenos, pineapple and hot honey. I need to try more things immediately. The service was friendly and helpful and the ambiance was casual and fun. Def a neighborhood staple. Stop eating crappy pizza and Come here already. It's worth it.

Really 3.5 stars but rounded up because it's local. This place is just above average. It's a really cool place and filled with tons of people having a great time. This is a step up from generic Italian restaurant pizza but only by a little. The pizza seems like a cross between neapolitan and a football pie. It was pretty floppy and it looked anemic from the oven. They were pretty busy so you might get a better cook if it's a slow day. It's really not my style of za. I would come back for the sandwiches though. They looked fantastic! My ideal trip here would be with a group of four people. We order one pizza to share but each get a sandwich for the main course. I would recommend this place if you're in the area, but this is far from my top ten in the greater Dallas area.

Loved the Clinton and the Willomet pizza, as pictured. You have the option to get two different types of pizza in one, half on one side and half on the other. The service was very friendly and accommodating! Atmosphere was giving dive vibes! P.S. the broccoli pesto was flawlessly amazing, add it as a garnish topping!

Believe the hype--this place absolutely earns its 5-star reputation. We ordered "The Hollywood" (I think) and it was pizza perfection. The crust was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and had that perfect wood-fired flavor. Toppings were super fresh and balanced--nothing overwhelming, just really well thought out. You can tell they care about quality here. Friendly service, cozy vibe, and honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time.

Looking for something different fo lunch and decided on this place. So glad we went to bad we only had 1hr. The pizza and salad were delicious the staff was very professional, nice, friendly even other people that were here. The decor is fits the place perfectly and it's clean and organized. There is also an outdoor patio when weather is nice. I will be going back this time with family and friends

Very friendly staff and a super cute place! The fried artichokes and salami were delicate and hearty at the same time (we shared and couldn't finish it The meatball sub was tasty I would've like the bread a little toasted but that's a me thing The Rosemont pizza was good and I love the cup and char pepperoni Side and street parking Pleasant patio Beer and wine offerings were good as well Will def be back! Many more pizzas to try!

That crust, that beautiful thin crispy gratifying crust! Oh yes, I'm back. Wonderful is their counter service. Casual and charming is their converted gas station dining area and outdoor patio. So delicious on this most recent visit was their white pie "Winnetka", perfect crust, beautifully topped with bites of spicy calabrese salami, gorganzola, drizzle of hot honey, and, the fresh crunch of dressed arugula. A fun time each and every time here makes! CHEERS!

Cenzo's might be off the beaten path, but it was well worth our time to visit it. We were there for lunch and the lunch special did not disappoint. A pizza crust with flavor, who would have thought! And a salad with a homemade peppercorn ranch dressing that was delicious rounded out the lunch. The feel of the place is very open and roomy despite being on the small side. I could certainly see this as a place to hang out at in the evenings if you are in the area. Our service was great, the food came out quick not only for us but from what I could see, for pretty much everyone else as well. They were getting things out quick for people there for a workweek lunch. I will certainly be back to try all the other things they have on the menu.

(just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. All of them were solid and flavorful choices. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Still, it's a great spot with good food, good service, and a worthwhile Happy Hour.

Upon entering you're met with dim lights, deep burgundy leather seats and images of musicians painted in every corner. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Our table wasn't quite ready so we were asked to wait at the bar for short while. We started the celebration early by ordering a few drinks and by the time they arrived, our table was ready. We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! To wrap it all up we of course ordered the 24 layer strawberry cake. The cake was bought out with a candle and 4 glasses of bubbly which was a very nice treat. Drake's met all my expectations and more. A huge thank you to the manager stopping by to make sure all was well throughout our meal. We were told we had to place our entire order at once, and despite our reservation noting that we were celebrating a birthday, he never acknowledged it or even asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. When we mentioned it ourselves, he didn't respond at all. While returning from the restroom (which was also uncomfortably hot and stuffy), I spoke with the manager, Jason, about our experience and asked if we could switch servers. Thankfully, Vlad, who had been serving nearby tables, took over our table. He was a complete turnaround. Vlad was personable, energetic, attentive, and provided the level of hospitality we expected. He truly saved what he could of the experience. Our group spent over $750 on food and drinks. The appetizers and sides were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the same standard. One steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. By the time the replacement arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. The Salmon Diane was also dry and overcooked. To end the night, while we were waiting for our checks to be processed, Jason came over and told us the next reservation had arrived and that we needed to leave. We explained that we were simply waiting to pay, yet no effort was made to speed up the process by collecting our payment or offering to run the checks. It felt rushed and incredibly inhospitable, especially after everything that had already gone wrong. The only reasons this review isn't one star are Vlad and the excellent appetizers and sides. We've dined at many high-end restaurants, and this was by far one of the most disappointing service experiences we've had, especially for a special celebration. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
