We had a meat lovers with mushrooms added, a pepperoni, a Hawaiian, and a Vittoria (chicken, parmesam, basil). All of them were delicious. "Extraordinary" doesn't even begin to describe the masterpiece that Mister O1 is dishing up. The pizza is so mindblowing that we tried them on a Friday... and came crawling back like addicts two days later. We're originally from Houston, but took a trip up to Dallas for a mini-vacation. We needed to find a place to eat on the way to the museum, and that's how we discovered Mister O1. This spot is perfect for lunch with the family. The staff even gave my kids pizza dough balls to play with -- a welcome break from the usual phone or iPad. My daughter and I went feral for the Claudio - a whisper-thin white pizza served hot, then topped with cool burrata stracciatella and truflle oil. The contrast gave us such an out-of-body experience. The Claudio has ruined us for all other pizzas. My husband ordered the Star Luca - a pizza with pointed edges stuffed with ricotta. At first he thought it was just a gimmick, but bite after bite it grew on him until he damn near finished the whole thing. On our second visit, I ordered the Coffee Paolo. At this point in the story you're probably starting to see that I like to order the "weirdest" items off of the menu... DON'T JUDGE ME. Mister O1 proved that coffee and pizza absolutely belong together. The bitterness of the coffee plays well with the pungeant gorgonzola and salty salami. Pro-tip: I did find the pizza bit salty, so to balance the pizza out even more,. ask for a side of honey and spicy olive oil. If you're on a diet (first of all, what are you doing here?), Mister O1 has salads served family-style. The caesar wsalad wasn't great and the dressing tasted store-bought. While the salads don't live up to the pizzas, it's still nice that they offer them. For dessert, we went all in and ordered both the banana Nutella pizza and the calzone... because why not? My kids were obsessed with the pizza, but the calzone stole my heart. The dessert dough isn't baked quite as crisp as the savory pies, so heads up on that. The pizza comes out hot and gets topped with fresh banana and Nutella afterward, while the calzone seals it all inside -- caramelizing the bananas and melting the Nutella into pure chocolatey bliss. Best part? The staff comped us both since it was our first time trying them, which made an already sweet ending even sweeter. Mister O1 is one of those rare places where even the skeptics in the family walked out converted. It feels strange to say, but out of all our adventures in Dallas, Mister O1 was probably the thing my family will remember the most. Thank you to the staff for making it a special experience for us. We had seen this place on TikTok and had been wanting to try it. It was my spouse's birthday, so we figured it was a good excuse. You know when you're close by, because it starts smelling awesome the second you step out of your car, in the parking lot and walk up to the door. You'll manage being too close together, as you're in for a real treat! Not long after we were seated, we were greeted by a very high energy, full of positivity server named Sergio. We were given the back story how Mister 01 began, and that the famous pizza, that started it all, is the Star Luca. We started out with a Caesar Salad and Burrata e White Truffle Oil Bar app with Foccocia bread. For our Dinner we decided to try the Star Luca and a Star Laina as well. Sergio brought our salad and Burrata out pretty quickly after we ordered them and always made sure our water glasses were full. He came around to check up on us to see if we were happy with apps. YES, we were, they are both very delicious! Sergio timed the pizzas coming out perfectly, as we had just finished up our apps, when he brought them out. They were both really superior. I love how thin the crusts are. You really can taste all of the flavors of the sauce, cheeses and seasonings, when the crust is wonderfully thin and crispy, like theirs is! Again, a few minutes later, Sergio came by to make sure we were happy with our meal and made sure our water was full. Finally, he surprised us with a resounding rendition of Happy Birthday throughout the restaurant's speakers, as he walked around the corner carrying a Nutella pizza with a lit birthday candle for my spouse! SO awesome! The whole restaurant joined in to sing along and gave huge claps and hurrays at the end. Everything was perfect! We decided to try the Star Luca after seeing such great reviews for it. Overall, it was a good pizza but I did not enjoy the Star crust as I was expecting to. The crust had way too much ricotta for me that it was very overpowering. I feel like their normal pizzas would be solid but I was underwhelmed by the Star pizza crust. I tried their signature Star Luca pizza, which is like a traditional Italian thin-crust pizza, except that each crust end is shaped into a point-like handle, giving the pizza a star shape.
