Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo with Spinach and Mushroom
    Skih N.

I got the Fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken, spinach, and mushrooms and let me tell you... that pasta was so creamy and delicious. The bread was nice and toasty too. My friend got a cheese pizza which was also nice and toasty. The Cabernet was served room temp tho I would have preferred chilled. Other than that, this place is lowkey and hit the spot just right.

I first called to order, but was placed on hold for about 2min. Before I decided to hang up.. so I ordered online, and picked up in the store.. the store was clean and had about 3 people there spread out at the tables and another couple picking up their pizza.. Overall the pizza was good, I know the pictures don't really do justice... but they were good! and i would definitely get another pizza.

Well?, I'm on a Pizza Quest. I travel around an enlarged area extending to McKinney back into Dallas as far as West Fort Worth & as far east as Royse City sampling pizza from the various chains & Independents. Chicago style deep dish pizza is damn expensive but satisfyingly filling Needing only one or two slices to get you stuffed, but when you really think about it?, Ingredient for ingredient pound for pound?, all Pizza's are as expensive. I remember Piggy's-Pies when it was down on Abrams & Northwest Highway In the 1980s & 90s But I don't mostly like pigs of any variety, thin blue line or not.... So I never really tried them not even once. Today I really wanted delivery and so I googled the closest place to my location, which was only 11 miles away & that was Piggy-Pies now on Greenville Avenue next to Cafe Izmir just a little bit north of Mockingbird Ln. How do I know because I had to go pick up my order when I went online and placed it not through DoorDash or any of those other delivery services but simply to have it delivered it said my location which is just 11 miles away was outside of their delivery zone. I thought what the hell I have a stolen credit card I might as well try to use it & just go get my lazy ass off of the couch & go & pick up my order - The online billing defaults to 20% tip, which I thought was repugnant since I was the one going to pick up my order so I gave myself a tip & zeroed it out without leaving any kind of tip at all. This entitled tip mindset these days is absolutely stunningly obnoxious to me: "If you can't tip 30% then you shouldn't be going out or dining out anyways" - GTFO: absolute rubbish. I'm glad that they offer 8 inch pizzas at 10 bucks each with additional 7 toppings at no extra charge apparently - But really how much more can you get on a stupid small-af 8 inch pizza?. I got 3 different pizza so that I could sample along with the breadsticks & everything needed salt, but I get the no salt kick for today with everybody thinking salt is somehow bad for your health (gtfo). Yeah, the government wants what's best for us right with their food recommendations? STFU. Anyways, it wasn't bad. It could've been better. The crust was dry when it should've been buttery. The toppings were superb, but there was a little bit too much Parmesan cheese on the breadsticks, which actually gave it sort of a burnt taste. But I'm a former culinarian & chef so I'm a bit hard to please maybe as to my expectations & evaluations. My #1 pick for the best pizza in Dallas is still Bay 34th St. on Midway Road just north of Alpha. My #2 pick would have to be (so far) Piggy-Pies My recommendations for "Piggy-Pies"? go with a more hydrated dough use a little cornmeal & I would bast or spray the crust while they're baking with some butter - whole butter, maybe even salted butter. Try it & tell me if you don't like it & That it doesn't push your Pies over the top.

WHAT I ORDERED: Thai Chicken Pizza, Meat Lovers Pizza, Carbonara Pasta, Pasta Penne PARKING: Parking Lot INSIDE: Friendly staff who gave great recommendations as it was our first time here. Seating is available and had a table area big enough for our party of 7. THE FOODS/DRINKS: Complimentary side of bread was unexpected but appreciated. The thai chicken pizza had an interesting peanut buttery flavor but I preferred the meat lovers pizza, especially the sausages. I want to go back and try the poblano pizza and pizza al pesto. The Pasta Penne was a bit too heavy on the black pepper for me but still delicious and the carbonara is a dish you can't go wrong with.

Not bad for late night takeout! Decent penne pasta, pretty greasy but hits the spot. Filling, good portions

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.
