We got there just in time! Try to get here at 11:30 and beat the crowd for lunch. There were very few cars in the lot so parking was easy. We went in and were immediately seated. The waiter read the specials to us and talked to us about his favorites. We ordered the lunch specials and I for salad and pizza. The salad was fresh and filled with flavor. Super crisp veggies and the hummus was super creamy. The pizza was huge. It's a personal pan but two could eat this and be satisfied. Meatlovers was full of protein and bursting with flavors. The restaurant and kitchen were bustling with energy and as 12-12:15 came the dining area quickly started to get more and more filled with patrons. The parking lot was filled too. I love Pie Tap and would visit again for an early lunch and repeat experience.

Awesome experience here! Both the food and service was great. It was our first time and the waiter gave some recommendations. Parking is a bit tricky since it's a small lot and many spots are valet only, but we found free parking across the street.

Go to place after a concert or game. Wish they stayed open later so we wouldn't have to rush.

I really enjoy pie tap when I come to Dallas but today I was a little frustrated with my experience. We went during "brunch hours" on Sunday and it was quite busy. They have a good selection for brunch and their normal pizzas available. I noticed they had some pretty decently priced cocktails at $6 during brunch. I ordered an espresso martini that took about 20 minutes to come out. We ordered the goat cheese fondue, the workshop salad and a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza of prosciutto and salami. We ordered another espresso martini and our server didn't let us know it was after brunch course so it ended up being almost $14. Overall the food is solid, service just seemed a little slow during brunch.

Another delicious meal @ Pie Tap in the Design District! A friend and I shared a large Caesar Salad (GREAT dressing) and a veggie pie. So so delicious! Probably the best veggie pie I have ever had. Loved the broccoli on it AND I am normally not a feta fan, however their's was an elegant addition. Excellent service @ the bar on a chilly evening. THANK YOU!

Some decent pizza. The flavors are there and the toppings are fresh but they are quite dry. The Prosciutto has the added benefit of glaze drizzles and cream added, but in one bite the toppings come off and you are left with dry crust and cheese. The salads are also good. The "Pizza Bone" dipping sauces were all okay with the marinara being my favorite. The star of the show is the dough which is a sour dough and so unique, tangy, and flavorful. However as a fan of crispy pizza this sourdough crust is much softer and chewier than others. Which is not my go-to. To add the restaurant was quite dingy and dirty with the menus being caked is sticky grime. For it being such a small building I was surprised by this. What made it better was our waitress Maria who was so kind and amazing. She was able to have us moved to a better table and even gave us blessings to our families!

The farm house breakfast was very filling! The paper jam was so tasty, ask for extra. Maria was so attentive. The hangover wagyu smash burger was everything we needed and so much more! We mainly went there for happy hour but as the tables around us were getting food delivered we had to order our own! The atmosphere was very chill, good music, good vibes!

Bread and hot honey wings were great, although the hot honey was more hot sauce than honey. Prosciutto pizza was 10/10, sausage pizza not as flavorful, 8/10. Easy to get a table on a Friday night! Friendly service!

Food was amazing good and delicious reasonably priced in the service was good. Only thing I wish he would've told us that the kitchen was running fast and they could've slowed the food coming out because it all came at once yeah atmosphere on the inside was modern but traditionally designed the booth were comfortable and he just had a very good vibe and feeling. Looking forward to come back

I had a long lay over in Dallas, Texas. I was traveling with my brother so we decided to go to the city. He brought me to eat here since he's been here and loved it. Customer service is as amazing! I believe Delilah (chick with glasses) was her name, she was on point. She gave us some suggestions. I had a chicken Parmesan. I tasted the pizza as well. Pizza is as good. Can't forget their famous lollipop wings. They're great as well.

Love coming to this spot. Always super friendly service and the quality of the wood fired pizza and the fresh pasta make for a great meal. Super comfy seating and a chillax ambiance that makes you feel at home but still maintaining class. THE GOAT CHEESE FONDUE, is soul reviving. Game changing and tastes great with the pizza! 10/10

Monday's have always been my day to rest / New Year: New Rules! Upon arrival all the employees welcome you to the restaurant A+ .. very spacious and well maintained! Happy hour but of course! My pineapple and blueberry mimosa came with fresh blueberries-thank you Gabby ( bartender/ server ) she was on top of her game !! Appetizer was garlic knots bread with huge ( and I do mean huge ) bowl of whipped creamy extra smooth butter !! The right side of the menu was incredible tempting! There were at least six entrees calling my name to be picked ! And the winner is wagyu beef Bolognese/ crazy Alfredo I'll pick you next time ( thank you Gabby! So much food and my dining companion inhale that pizza / remember that sharing is caring . A second mimosa -that's why they call it happy hour and we finished it off with a triple triple triple chocolate cake with all kind of sauces , pecans and a really HUGE bowl of whipped cream ( everything Huge at pie tap !) I will definitely be returning in the near future after I wake up from the food coma ( dove right into that dessert when I got home

    Raquelle J.

I would absolutely come back for that blueberry French toast. I got that and fries. The fries came out luke warm and I didn't like the ranch but that's just me. My friend had a chocolate chip pancake but it only had a few chocolate chips in it so she wasn't happy with it. She also got a pizza which was good. It was a vice crowd but we didn't have to wait long to be sat. Our servicer was nice as well.

How long is the wait on a typical Friday night?

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

He took his time explaining the menu and guided us in the right direction with our food selections. Now the Wagyu steak... absolutely PERFECT. Easily one of the top 3 steaks I've ever had, and honestly it might be #1. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was worth it. They finished the night by bringing out a birthday dessert, which was the perfect ending to an already amazing dinner. Between the atmosphere, attention to detail, service, and food, Evelyn really made the birthday celebration feel special. 10/10 all around. I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out, especially for a birthday, date night, or special occasion. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

Used to be 5+ star. This *was* a Dallas crown jewel of an upscale bar with fantastic service and…read moremusic, but it's flipped upside down. The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
