After the fact, I've been reading past reviews, and this issue of poor customer service is nothing new... It was a nightmare trying to get my 2015 Challenger Shaker Hood shipped and all the correct parts, well as a few minor Quality issues. I fairly am happy with the majority of it all, After the fact.. but due to the "parts shortage Excuse"... There was a Horribly LONG wait for my purchase, I ordered in Feb. 2021 and got the final parts to me by JUNE!! Zach at Cervinis did his best to keep me up to date on what was going on. But it got to a point I was calling or texting a few times a week pestering them for an update.. The paid which was the majority of the cost ( Front and Back, Sublime Green) was a bit orange relish and NOT a good match, but close enough, (( I didn't want the hassle of waiting AGAIN!!!)) I am going through this same miserable process waiting for parts from BOTH (Auotgear Direct) and (Billett Technology).. Horrible experience, I placed an order for a lower grille on Monday 8-26-24, I hadn't heard anything for a couple of days. So reach out and the lady Lynda tells me my item would ship by end of the week, so end up was 8-30-24, no email with shipping info, I call and speak Alex, he tells me it will ship out on Tuesday 9-3-24, it's end of day Tuesday and I cannot wait another week. I emailed both people in customer service and I haven't gotten a reply. I just want my refund. The customer is not great and they do not give you information. I'm thinking I need to reach out to the CC company and let them know that Cervinis took my money and never sent the item(all which is true) since they charged me and I have nothing to show for it... if I can leave no stars I would! read more

Let me start with the positive; the hood seems very well made and the fit, for an aftermarket fiberglass part, is exceptional. Customer service is tepid at best. Was quoted 8-10 weeks to get my hood manufactured and painted. I do not recommend the pre-painted option. On week 18, yes eighteen, the hood was finished. I read horrible things about shipping and lack of response from this company regarding shipping claims, so I picked up the hood myself. I took a day off and drove to their facility. I had to wait for them to drop it at the end of a bay and they offered zero assistance with loading. No one to even validate that we were loading the correct boxes. No big deal; the wife and I could handle it easily. Everything was packed well and made the journey home without incident. My disappointment started when I got the hood installed and all gaps and latch adjusted. I realized that the color was not the color of my vehicle. I spent 600 bucks to have the hood painted the wrong color. All factory paint and less than a year old. So I install the included hood struts and now cannot get the struts to compress and I feared breaking the hood by forcing the issue. I reached out to the customer service department at Cervinis to have them tell me that they would look into the struts and would also review photos of the hood on the vehicle. Short answer was that the paint was, in their opinion, close enough and I then asked about the struts and they said they were still investigating them. Here's the fun part. They never asked for the struts back, never offered replacement struts and wrote off a customer that would have purchased from them again had their service been better. 10 weeks of excuses regarding delays in completing the hood, no shipping expenses on their side; it's included in the price of the hood; and a pair of useless struts are what I received for my 1,200 dollars. Ultimately, I had the hood repainted; another 600 bucks, but it matches now; and am using the OE struts to secure the hood even though the fiberglass hood weighs more than the aluminum hood from the factory. I missed an entire summer waiting for this hood and was ultimately disappointed by Cervinis. If I find.A used Cervinis hood at a swap meet, I would probably buy it for my next vehicle. I doubt highly that I would purchase from them again knowing the risks at hand. If the hood is really what you want and you don't mind waiting twice as long as they tell you, and expect little to know support post-sale, go for it. You have been warned. read more

I ordered my Cervinis stalker hood for my 17 F150 from American Trucks site. The site claims it was in stock but still took around a month to receive it. The hood looks good, but everything else was a letdown. Cervinis claims the ram air function on this hood works with most cold air intakes. I will tell you now, it works with NONE. When you close the hood, the channel outlet rests between your cold air intake box and the factory channel. It pretty much shoots air into your engine bay. I had to rig up another channel to push the air into the airbox. Next.. water routing when it comes to hood scoop and side vents. Cervinis claims the water from rain or wash is routed off to the side. No, its not. After my first wash, I opened the hood and there was a swimming pool on top of my battery and in my cold air box. I paid attention to how much water I shot on the hood from washing and it was not allot at all. Talk about POOR design, Cervinis. Next, When closing the hood, get ready to do some pull ups. If you grab the hood in the center to close it, the hood begins to bend and gives you this feeling its going to crack some day. I have to grab both ends, arms wide to reduce the bending by the bolted area. Fitment wise, about 90% accurate. Never buy the hood painted. Never! You'll go thru tons of hoops if the hood delivers damaged or paint shade is off, and it will be. I had the paint shop match my paint before painting and trust me, way better route to go. Overall guys and gals, DO NOT buy Cervinis Stalker hood for Ford F150. Not sure about the Mustangs. I love how it looks, yes. But by far, this was the worst project I took on for my truck. RK Sport is better alternative. Do not buy Duraflex hoods either. read more

Ordered a new hood paid extra for paint only to receive a horrible paint job. Patrick said wash it and see if it's just from the wrapping film. Umm sorry scratches and orange peel oh and swirls don't wash off. I contacted them when delivered and finally heard back yesterday. Any one know of a body shop that will fix it for $100. I am disappointed in such a large company having such ho customer service. Only got a response by leaving Facebook messages to a different person. Mr Patrick is the customer service manage. Where oh were do I begin with Cervinis? First, it took beyond forever to get the hood delivered. With constant excuses from each rep that we talked to. Beyond rediculous and unacceptable. Service is just not existent here. Finally take delivery of the hood for the mustand and it's clearly a horrible job done on the paint. Orange peel everywhere. A big noticeable drip on the top portion of the hood. Not to mention the two scratches towards the front. The condition of the hood was unacceptable so called back the service department. Needless to say about a dozen phone calls and emails between us, service and management we finally managed to get another hood shipped to us. The second hood was delivered and again there was some orange peel but not a lot. This was acceptable and we put the hood on and was satisified. I would have written the review at the time but wanted to give a little time to see how the paint held up. Well here it is, little over a year later and the clear coat has begun to rapidly degrade. A complete repaint is going to be needed by the end of the summer. I'll never... NEVER do business with this company every again. read more

I bought a very expensive GT500 hood from Cervinis for my 2016 Shelby Mustang and had it painted, which cost several hundred dollars more. It took me a couple months to get the hood installed, because I wanted to do it outside, and it was too cold. When I got it outside in the sun, I noticed swirl marks all over the hood, which indicates bad finishing by Cervinis after painting. I went ahead and finished installing, and I wasn't super thrilled with the fitment either. After I drove it a few times in colder weather, I noticed smoke escaping from the hood louvers. At first, I thought nothing of it, but then the smoke was so bad, I was sure there was something wrong with my car. I took it to Ford and had it diagnosed. They could find nothing wrong with the car that could cause overheating. After speaking with the tech and Cervini, I found out that it was actually the hood louver causing so much smoke to escape. I mean, it's a ridiculous amount of smoke. Cervini tells me that this is normal for the hood, which I find crazy. Additionally, I think Cervini should disclose that this is an issue with this type of hood louver. It makes your car look like it's about to have a serious engine failure. I asked Cervini to help by paying $100 for me to hire a professional to fix the swirl marks, and I was told it could "easily be fixed" by hand polishing, so they wouldn't help me there. If it could be fixed so easily with hand polishing, why didn't they fix it before shipping the hood? I had high hopes that Cervini would stand behind their product, but seeing the other Google reviews, I can see now why they wouldn't. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

Placed an order on April 11, and despite claiming it was in stock and would take 5-7 business days to ship, I get surprised in the order confirmation that it will ship in 4-6 weeks. Ordered my hood three months ago, after weeks of getting excuse after excuse, I was given yet another excuse so I IN WRITTING had confirmed that I canceled the order as a credit was being issued. the following week the hood was mysteriously shipped. I again had to insist the order be can =celled and the shipping be stopped. #Cervini goes into silence mode and won't respond. UPS will not be happy when they show up and I have to refuse the shipment. But it comes with no adhesive and the adhesive I bought held up for about a month then one day I'm driving and the part flew off never to be seen again. Let's just say don't waste your time because all they do is waste yours. Ordered a hood at the Carlisle Ford Nationals and told it would be delivered in 3 weeks. Didn't show up until 5 weeks. Go to pick it up and the paint is chipped up. Mind you the packaging was minimal at best. Shrink wrapped. In a single ply cardboard box with 4 little blocks of foam in the corners. For the money they charge you would think it would be packaged better. I called to return it and the guy says they need photos and hood back before they can start working on the next one to replace it. Military orders in a couple weeks so I needed it escalated since it was already late. I send the hood back only to get a call a few days later when it gets there that it got refused. The shipping company says I have to pay return shipping and storage fees if they don't take it. Cervinis claims I needed to wait for return shipping approval which no one told me when I was on the phone. I offered to drive the 3 hrs to pick up the new hood and bring the old one back but they said no. So the only thing they offered was to split the cost of the return. For the sake of getting the hood back and not racking up more storage fees I paid it. I don't understand how it's the customers fault when they don't tell you the process. At this point I opened a case with the BBB. The first reply was they were doing me a favor by offering to install the hood which isn't a favor when it's 7 hrs round trip and costs $150 more in gas and a day off work for 2 people. Needed to bring a truck to get the old hood home. Obviously they will file a claim with insurance to get the damages. I replied unacceptable. The next offer was for them to install the hood and $150 which was accepted. Drive up to get the hood and it took 3 hrs,out of spite of course. They are unaware we had been previously to have a hood installed and it took 45 minutes. Honestly I don't know how a company like this stays in business. It's absurd the lack of customer service they have. The run around, the customers fault, not delivering on time, just the whole experience is awful. I'm also a little underwhelmed with the cost I paid to get the underside painted and it has scratches and a bunch of imperfections. Cervinis you can do better. Seriously you can do a lot better. My shopping experience went flawless, it took 6 weeks to receive my new hood as it was being colour matched. I have to give 4 out of 5 stars only because after removing the shrink wrap, there were quite a few scratches on the painted hood that I will need to now have repaired. This was the whole reason for getting it prepainted in the first place. I will probably get it 3M clear wrapped just for a little added insurance. Still missing all hardware and other miscellaneous items to complete project. ***UPDATE Me and Cervinis have come to an agreed upon set of terms for settlement on the described issue below. I am somewhat satisfied with the outcome, I am just glad it's been dealt with. I have done business with Cervinis in the past and would like to continue to do business with them in the future but after I ordered my shaker hood kit on 04/06/18 with a promised lead time of 4-6 weeks once at week 5 I contacted them to follow up and they said there were some issues and that I'd have it by the end of week 6. Clearly it didn't come. Called at the beginning of week 7 was told it would ship by the end of week 8. Once again it didn't. Called week 8 to tell them to cancel the order. Then all of a sudden it was done and ready to ship. Few more days went by with several more contacts and FINALLY it shipped. Received by the beginning of week 9 06/08/18. All I received was the hood and upper/lower portion of scoop. All hardware and air box was missing. Still in contact with company to settle this abortion of customer service. Even if we reach and agreement, it'll be nearly or right at 10 weeks before I receive all the product I purchased. I am unpleasantly displeased with the lack of customer service and the constant excuses of why it has taken this long to settle my issues. I'm hoping to settle this amicably, but it isn't looking good. Whatever happened to good customer service? Whatever happened to taking care of your customer? In closing my advice is that if you want to do business with Cervinis then be prepared to wait 8-10 weeks for any of your products to arrive. Outside of that I have nothing nice to say. Order the cervinis uper and lower for my 19 mustang gt. Had a little install issue. I'm am local to them and when I spoke to Jim on the phone he offered for me to bring the car to their shop free of charge. Then once I was here there was another problem as I have a whipple supercharger on my car. The HE pump gets in the way of the lower grille on drivers side. They made me a bracket to lower the pump so the grille fits perfect. Again free of charge. I can say they stand behind their product 100%. I will definitely buy products from them in the future. read more

My first experience was awesome- I purchased a similar hood for my 93 Mustang Gt in 98 and had the paint work and installation done by Cervinis body shop, also in Vineland New Jersey. I ordered my shaker hood back in April, and it arrived July 4, cleared customs on July 11, apart from the long wait, the hood and parts all fit and went smoothly during install, color match was perfect! I did, however, find out that my bullet grill insert (for the shaker scoop) and the window washer nuzzles did not ship, Might have been a small overlook, but I'm still super pleased with the quality. The only reason for 4 stars was the missing parts(billet grill insert and washer nozzles) The shipping time I'm ok with because I understand, things can get backed up or busy when your processing so many orders. Horrible Customer Service! And faulty product I cannot describe my frustration about this company. I ordered a product that was to arrive in 5-7 days. It came a month later. I didn't even get a confirmation number to track my product. I had to call them 2 weeks after i ordered it, they told me that the product wasn't in stock so it would be at my house by the end of the week. It came 2 weeks later! I was gone on vacations, so when I came home a week after it arrived, and tried to install the product I saw that the fitment was not good, the item was scratched and there were holes missing. I called them and they said they needed pictures and had the nerve to ask me why I called a week after the product arrived and not sooner. That is when the nightmare started. I was given excuses and delays week after week. They would never respond to my emails (it would take 2 weeks for me to get a response that was insufficient). I was told that I could return the item on my own shipping expense (100$) so I complained. They said I could not prove that it was their fault and that they had to inspect the product after I ship it to them. The whole email process took 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten a response back. Last email, 2 weeks ago. In the end I didn't return the item because they are crooks and do not deserve any business so I sold my product to a guy that wanted it. They try to hide when they f..k up. They do not respond to emails and if you call them they will give you no good answer and tell you they will email you back. That doesn't happen. VERY DISAPPOINTED. If i had read all the reviews, i pobably wouldn't have ordered anything. But...i didn't. Thank god. My experience couldn't have been better. I wanted a ram air hood for my 04 f-250. My body shop said stay away from fiberglass hoods. Cervinis said they offer 100% fit guarantee, so i took the chance. Well worth it. My hood arrived in a very timely manner, (a week +-) my body shop (Top Shot Wichita,ks) test fit the hood and gave the green light. They prepped the hood, painted, and installed. They said it was the best fiberglass hood they ever came across. The hood wasn't cheap, but i couldn't be happier. Thank you Cervinis. read more

i will never buy another product from this company again. Order was for a car that we had in our body shop. We received it a day late which puts us behind schedule. When we opened the box the hood was damaged. called customer support to see if we could get help. They told me to send it back and that i would not receive it til the following week past the customers deadline of needing the car back. The person i was talking to on the phone kept throwing in my face that he has auto bodywork experience. i work for a high end body shop so we have experience as well. asked if he could just take 40 dollars off the bill to have our body guys fix the crack and damaged edges. He stated that they do not that. They did not care that they were hindering our business. asked if they could over night a new hood and they said no. that its not their problem. i sent photos while on the phone with him. The customer service i received was horrible and just flat out rude. no idea how they are still in business. Ordered a $600 hood and paid almost $500 on top of that to have it painted. It shipped pretty quickly, but when I received it, it was unpainted. I called them and was told that I could either get a refund for the additional cost of the paintjob or have it scheduled for pickup to return it to Cervini to have them paint it. I'm in the military, so my time at home on leave is very limited, which is why I chose to be refunded so I could take it elsewhere. It took over three weeks for them to refund my money. In addition to all of that, I had placed an order for a Cervini windshield banner at the same time as the hood. The money was taken from me, but I was never sent any shipping details. After contacting customer service, a month of waiting, and four unsuccessful phone calls later, I was finally able to reach them only to be told that they outsource for their decals and I was told to contact the other company. Cervini said that they would email me the contact info for said company, but it's now two months later and I have received no emails with contact info and no banner. At this point, I've given up on trying. If you're looking to buy anything for your car, avoid Cervini's. You, your money, and your time are better off elsewhere. read more

NEVER ordering from them again!!So I was in the market for a new hood and grille for my 2015 Mustang. I was shopping around and seen a couple hoods and grilles I liked but ended up choosing cervinis ram air hood and their c series grille combo. I went on their website and ordered these 2 products. When I ordered them, it said they had them both in stock and the shipping estimate of 2-5 business days. The order was placed on 05/24/16 so it was perfect for me because I had a car show that I was going to go to on the 5th of June which I was registered for(had to pay a $75 fee to be in it) and my car was going to be in competitions for looks. Keep in mind my car other then the hood and grille is ready for the car show. So I placed the order and received the confirmation email and receipt for my purchase, I didn't check them until two days after, that's when I noticed that there was a disclaimer on the receipt which said to allow 1-2 weeks for them to make the hood. NOWHERE on their website did it state this when you are placing the order. If I would have known this I would have never ordered the hood. So I email them about this issue because I needed my hood Asap. A guy by the name of Dom emailed me back saying the following: We are currently building and painting your hood, which takes approximately 2-3 weeks from the time you placed the order. SO NOW instead of 1-2 weeks to build the hood, it's now 2-3 weeks. So I immediately called him once I read the email and told him that I can't wait that long because of the car show and I needed my hood and grill to get sent out Asap. He told me he was sorry for the inconvenience but the only thing he could do was send me a unpainted one which I said no to because it was already the 1st of June and it was going to take a week to get to me. He said he could have my order out by the 6th of June. I told him that they should put the build time of the hoods on their website so customers could know about the wait time to get their hoods. He told me that it did say it on the website and I told him it didn't. So him and I walked through the website and tried placing the exact same order I did and that's when he noticed that it didn't say anything about the 1-2 weeks. So he apologized and said he was going to have someone take a look at that. At that moment I was extremely frustrated and was thinking about cancelling the order but decided not to because I really liked the hood and grill. So I ended up going to the car show and a lot of people liked my car but I didn't end up winning anything because every other car I was competing against had a aftermarket hood not the factory one. So June 6th comes and I check the order status and there is still no tracking number or any update at all. I give them a call the next day and he apologizes and says that there was a couple delays and that my order was going to go out for sure on the 9th. I was frustrated but decided to wait till the 9th. The 9th comes and again no update. I call Dom the next day furious and he tells me that there was no tracking number or update on my order because there was a glitch in the system but that my stuff had gone out already, he told me to check my email because I was going to get an email with the tracking info and to call him on Monday if I didn't get anything.That calmed me down and I was thinking my stuff was going to get to me the latest today the 16th. So I didn't get no email that weekend. I didn't call them Monday because I was extremely busy at work but I called them Tuesday and Dom told me that he was going to check the warehouse or something like that and he was going to give me a call back as soon as he figured out what was going on. So I get a call back like an hour and a half after and he tells me that the hood was just finished so I immediately call him out on lying to me because he told me it had shipped already last Thursday just that there was no tracking number because of a glitch. And he had nothing to say about that. So I tell him that I just want to cancel my order because I didn't want to do business with them because they were very unprofessional and I had never experienced such bad customer service before. He tells me that I can't cancel the order anymore because the hood was done already.I calmed down a bit and told him that I wanted my stuff shipped first thing in the morning and he says that they can't because my grille isn't ready. I told him that it said it was in stock when I ordered it and he said they had sold it to someone else while my hood was being built. That's when I went crazy and asked him why would they sell it to someone else since I had already paid for it. He apologized and said they could ship it on Wednesday and give me a $100 credit. Mustang Ram Air Hood was delivered to the body shop and partially inspected at delivery, however, they did not completely remove all metal shipping band until later. Hood was damaged during shipping but not noticed at delivery. The body shop had already started prepping the front end to blend in other car parts to match newly painted hood. I choose to pay the body shop another a higher cost as not to go through the hassle of returning the hood and losing more time at the body shop. read more
