We took our SUV to CarToyz because the hood and roof had become dull after of going through so many car washes using brushes and harsh detergents combined with UV. Our vehicle was returned in worse shape than when we brought it in! When we dropped off our SUV, the hood was dull had minor scratches, but not it was not excessively scratched, color was consistently green, but dull. What Distinctive CarToyz returned to us was excessive scratch marks carved in the front hood and the green color removed/gone (see the photos). They also managed to remove the paint finish around the ignition switch. The interior of the car smelled like they had spilled an entire bottle of Windex inside. Clearly, the job was not in the wheelhouse. To add insult to injury they removed the car dealership decal on the back and put on their own Distinctive CarToyz business frame (see photo) around the back license plate. Blatantly corrupt to have people think we purchased our Tahoe from them and not from a reputable dealership. They are any but reputable. We took our SUV to our car dealer and for only a couple hundred dollars more than what CarToyz charged us ($1,500), Bennett Chevrolet made our SUV look brand new!

This place is a rip off and the amount of money I've spent you'd think they provide quality work. My shocks cost $2k for all 4 and to the person that did the work was lazy for not covering them. Now I'm down another $2k because the seals were blown from the paint. Seems like they knew what they were doing tryna make more money off my truck. Thanks but no thanks, will be going somewhere else for now on.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!…read more On 10/3/25, my husband paid Lee Wiles / Common Vision LLC $1,020 (plus a $281 tip) for axle and brake repair. Less than 24 hours later, the car broke down in a dangerous way. AAA confirmed the repair was unsafe and improperly done, and another certified mechanic verified this. The axle came out and nearly caused a serious accident. When I contacted him, instead of refunding the payment, he admitted in text messages that "the axle came out" but refused to return the money. He also tried to deflect responsibility by making inappropriate comments about race and insisted on "fixing" it again -- despite my clear statements that I no longer trusted him after such unsafe work. I have full documentation: receipt, CashApp payment, AAA confirmation, mechanic statement, and text messages from his phone. This needs to be on record to prevent him from scamming and endangering others. He is also not listed with the BBB as a registered business -- but I have filed a complaint so there will now be a record. If he scammed you too, REPORT HIM. Businesses that operate this way do not last. Add On: It's not harassment to ask for my money back after a repair failed in less than 24 hours and almost caused an accident. AAA confirmed the axle came out because of improper work, and a certified mechanic verified this. I provided proof: receipt, CashApp payment, and text messages where Mr. Wiles himself admitted "the axle came out." I made it very clear that I would not allow him to touch my car again after such an unsafe repair. At that point, the only responsible action was to issue a refund. Instead, he refused, deflected responsibility, and made inappropriate comments about race. This is not about being "nice" or "polite." It's about safety, integrity, and accountability. I found him here on Yelp and hired him for a PPI to look at a 2003 Tiburon. A family member is an enthusiast for these old cars which they wanted to make into a "hot hatch". I met Lee at the dealer, which was a long drive to the dealer for both of us. And of course the car was in a back lot 3 or 4 rows deep. So while waiting for the dealer to find the car and bring it to the front, Lee noticed some teenagers who were there to look at a Civic SI. One of them was checking for rust by knocking his knuckles on the car body. Lee smiled at this and went over to chat with them and before you know it, he was reviewing the car with them, explaining how you really check for rust, opened the hood and began digging into how to tell if this Civic was running well or not. He looks underneath the car by getting on the ground and actually looking. I noticed all the other guys, both the dealer guys and the buyers, were hesitant to do this. I think they were intimidated because he obviously knew much more about engines than they did. I was impressed that Lee has the instincts of an educator. He really wants to not just evaluate the car but to teach others how to examine a car. Eventually the Tiburon appears and then Lee quickly went through his process. He focuses on the engine and doesn't move on from that until all issues are covered. In this case, he zeroed in immediately on the coolant system. It wasn't holding pressure. I watched as he carefully tested and retested and showed the dealer technician that the system was bad and that it was leaking. We had already been there for an hour and a half so it was decided that the dealer would pull a hose from another car ( the dealer was close to a salvage yard) and repair it and then Lee would return to test it again. In the end, even the dealer gave up on this car, he didn't complete any repair and we moved on. But I will have Lee examine any car we are considering. He is an excellent mechanic, fair and honest.

Do NOT order from Cervinis! Believe all the 1 star reviews. I ordered a painted hood July 6 from their website. Like other reviews, the website indicated the part was in stock and would take 7 - 10 days to ship. When my order confirmation came, it said it would ship in 4 - 6 weeks. My body shop said Cervinis is "the best," so I decided to wait. Received notification on Aug 15 that the part had shipped freight. When the freight company delivered to the body shop (without scheduling), a front office employee signed that the package arrived, but was not aware that it was expected they fully inspect the box, then remove and inspect the contents. The freight driver dropped off the delivery and took off. When the body shop employees went to look at the delivered part, the condition was deplorable. The box was literally falling apart. The hood was poorly packaged (as other reviews have mentioned) and was in no way wrapped to endure shipping without sustaining damage. When the hood was inspected, it was discovered that indeed there was cracking/splitting/damage to the hood, rendering it unusable to place on my car. Cervinis was contacted immediately (within an hour after delivery) and informed of the damage. The representative, Russell, admitted that Cervinis has had issues with this particular freight company in the past; he told me he was putting in a new order and the replacement hood would ship in 2 - 3 weeks. I sent Cervinis pictures of the damage and my text conversations with the body shop regarding the hood damage. Later that day, I receive an email from Cervinis that the body shop had not marked that the box was damaged, so the freight company was not claiming any responsibility. After a few more rounds of conversations with Cervinis regarding the delivery ticket, I lost all confidence that Cervinis was going to make good on the damaged hood. The last email correspondence I have from them literally blames the body shop!? What? Did I just enter Bizarro World? So, I'm to believe that my body shop is now supposedly responsible? Responsible for not pointing out that it was Cervinis who poorly packaged the hood (thin wrapping and hardly any protective foam) and the freight company that poorly handled the package in the delivery process all before the delivery driver left?! That makes them responsible now?! Unbelievable! (Should I also point out that it was the body shop who referred me to Cervinis; talk about throwing someone under the bus!) I've never had such poor customer service in my life. Now I'm left with two companies not claiming any responsibility for their negligence, blaming each other and blaming a body shop. Please do yourself a favor and believe the 1 star reviews. Immediately cancel any order you may have placed and don't place any order you may be contemplating. I'm not a person to ever write reviews, though I do look them up in most cases. I really wish this time I had done some research before placing my order. Learn from my mistake. Stay very far away from Cervinis unless you want to add misery to misery in your life. read more

UPDATE 12/14 - I am adding a couple of photos to the Yelp review since Cervinis continues to delete my review...first is the review I filed with ShopperApproved that was validated for proof of purchase...next is the Cervinis website with my review deleted...I hope people realize that what I went through could be you...and if they go to these lengths to be deceptive about reviews...just how deceptive and unscrupulous will they act when your money is involved? UPDATE 12/7- Shopper Review allows Cervinis to remove up to 12 reviews a year...which is why they don't have more negative reviews ... being dishonest extends beyond their customer service and motto...it also provide and bears false witness as to their real business dealings... deleting true reviews to garner more business... very deceptive...I've added a picture for proof that I placed it on their website but if you go there it is removed... "AVOID CERVINIS NO MATTER WHAT !!! I ordered an SRT hood and was told 4-5 weeks. 8+ weeks later it shows up damaged because Cervinis doesn't ship their product in a very effective and protective manner, just like other reviews have stated. I spoke with their customer service rep who promised a quick 2 week turn around. 4+ weeks later I received it. When the body shop installed the hood, it did not fit, it was wavy, the lines were wavy, portions of the hood hit factory plastics while other parts of the hood flared out from the rest of the body panel and then flared back in (too narrow). It was ridiculous, just look at the pictures. I spent 4 weeks trying to get customer service at Cervinis to respond and only to the threat of contacting Consumer Affairs and other government agencies did someone respond. They reviewed the pictures and indicated that all the defects I noted are within their acceptable limits, which is bs. They would never go to an auto show with this hood, that I can guarantee which is something they can't. I asked for them to ship out a hood that fit, they refused. Their motto which is plastered all over their website, states "The difference is the fit", which they clearly forgot making the SRT hood. Look at the pictures on (Yelp and here) which clearly show a hood that doesn't fit and is literally a horrible product. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere and with someone else. They do everything they can to get your money and then leave you high and dry. Document every communication with them via email and phone recorders and watch as they say one thing which contradicts their previous statements." read more

I had ordered a hood from another company last year and the hood was poorly made and didn't fit right at all. So since then I've been saving up and saved enough to buy another hood. This time I chose to do it right and went with Cervini's. When the hood came in I unboxed and nothing was wrong with it. It was packaged well and even came with instructions on how to install (which I think is cool). The hood is a great quality hood; you can tell it was made with pride. This is my 3rd hood in a span of many years at least 8 yrs = 2 mustang hoods and now an Excursion hood and quality and fit are the best out there in my opinion. 1 hood shipped to my house and no trouble and other 2 hoods to the body shop with no snags on delivery. Also my body shop owners son bought a hood from some where else and prep time and quality were horrible. I said send it back and get a Cervinis hood and when it can he was happier than a pig and well you know the rest. read more

Bought the 1995 style Cobra R Hood for my 91 Mustang GT. I haven't put the hood on yet because it needs to be repainted but it looks great and the reason I got it was because I needed clearance for an engine swap and 2.5 inches is more than enough. I was worried about durability compared to a steel cowl but there is no worries it's sturdy and built to last without all the weight of a steel hood. Cervini's products definitely lives up to its name. read more

I ordered the unpainted version. It needed a lot of sanding and the 3M tape ment to hold on the spoiler was a joke in my opinion. Body work and paint with new tape kit needed up being $490 which was more than they originally told me, after seeing the condition of the spoiler. read more

Ha Since then, my mother n I have had not only impeccable/timely work performed, but experienced a truly rare breed of mechanic/ human being- Rich is as honest as they come, n I bet he would drive to your house 40mi away to give ya back the $3 -$3000 that was mistakenly overpaid by you or insurance co. Had my 2007 corvette repaired. Responsible party's insurance company wanted to use aftermarket…read moreparts and have the fiberglass front quarter panel and driver's side door repaired not replaced. Ralph's went to bat for me and ended up replacing with all new OEM parts and did an excellent job and color matched the metallic silver perfectly. They also did a minor repair to my Nissan and it looked perfect when done. Rich is an expert and knows his trade with many many years of experience.
