Needed ball joints replaced on my Ram pickup. Went to LB's where I bought tires and they quoted me $1800. Went to parts store to get a price and recommend and they told me Cesar's. Cesar told me to buy the parts and he would do the job later in the week. I took the parts on Thursday and they asked me to wait until they took off the wheels. Turned out I needed front brake pads and the rotors resurfaced. No extra labor for replacing the brakes as they had to remove them anyway to replace the ball joints. All included parts and labor just over $800 and finished the next day. Highly recommend Cesar's. read more

Cesar's is my go to shop. Firestone is on a parallel street and they ripped me off so many times. Luckily I got tired of Firestone and searched the area for a new shop and decided to give Cesar's a try. I can't say enough good about them. Honestly, they're the only shop that I don't feel like a mark. They don't BS the customer looking to make an extra buck. I notice some people give them bad reviews, but you can tell some of them are genuinely stuck up. I've gotten to know Cesar a little over the years and Cesar is a christian man who does a lot of charity work and loves his family. His crew is hard working. Yeah, maybe they don't give the customer fake BS smiles while their hands are secretly reaching into your proverbial pockets which some people seem to want, but they're good people who do honest work. I've never, ever been screwed by Cesar and his crew or been dissatisfied with their work which I cannot say completely about any other shop. I'll never, ever give a raving review about a company of any kind like I will with this Cesar's review. I've been coming here for years and had a lot of work done, small and MAJOR, and that's long enough for me to know that Cesar and his crew is as legit, honest and caring as they come. Plus, there's a car rental directly across the street (literally rock throwing distance), so if need be, you can walk over there and pick up a rental. Cesar has saved me when other shops told me "We don't know the problem" or "We tried to fix it but still broken. Pay us for the stuff we replaced but never need replacing!". Some of these other shops I'll be cursing to hell even as I take my last breath in this world, but Cesars, no way. Cesar and his crew saved my rear end too many times. read more

I needed to get my safety inspection done being that it expired last month and it took me a week to finally go since I was sick and all. I searched on my trusty yelp app and found really bad reviews for places in Kapolei. The closest that I found with good reviews was this place. It's not that far from home and I needed to head out this way anyway. They are located on the corner of Leoleo Street and Leokane Street on the right side after you pass City Mill. I got there and pulled into the bay and they did the inspection right away! It didn't take more than 5 minutes of my time. It took longer for another guy to fill out the form and take payment. That guy had to come back to check my odometer again because he thought the guy wrote it wrong. But YES my car has that much miles on it and NO it's not from the mainland...lol It only took all of 15 minutes if my precious time to get it done from beginning to he put the sticker on and I was in my merry way. read more

The mechanic had the car since August. Today we are picking it up with parts missing and breaks not working. We have had to come MULTIPLE TIMES and put gas in it for them even do the job. They BEEN PAID IN CASH FOR THE WORK. WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE AND IM 32. I do not recommend to anyone who wants to be alive ! Came here for my first safety inspection and Cesar definitely got the job done. It was quick and fast (that's what she said!), we were done before I had even realized I drove 3 miles with the E-brake on. Though professional Cesar, was not very personal. He didn't really take time to converse with me, he would give orders to his crew then they would do the talking. Maybe it's because they were busy or because I hadn't showered that day but when it comes to taking care of my baby, I'd like to at least be friends with the doctor. Since I'm a terrible owner I'll probably be coming back here to have work done on my car, maybe I'll make friends then. read more

I take me vehicles to the dealership for most things. Brakes not so much because they charge a lot!!! So I found this shop online and liked what I read. I showed up an hour late. My bad. Pulled up and the owner was there and he was cool with me being late. I did text him letting know i was running late. Two guys put my car on the lift, changed the front PADS and ROTORS like a NASCAR team in, Im not kidding here, less than 1 hour. Why is that impressive, Well for one its a Porsche Cayenne and 2 because they were fast, and professional. This is now my SHOP of choice for anything I don't want the dealer to do. To gauge how impressed I was. I live in Kahala and his shop is in Waipahu. Thats how good he was and why ill be back. Thank you Cesar and your crew. You guys are awesome! read more

Never go here ever!! They are rude, not accommodating. I tried to get a safety check and there was 3 of them working on one car. I asked how long is the wait and he said 1/2 - 1 hour. So I told him I'd wait. And he asked me where are you going to wait? So I told him I guess in my car with my kids. I asked him how long would the safety check take and he said 10-15 minutes. So I asked why one of them couldn't do my car first? And he said because they need 3 of them to work on the first car. So as I was watching them, one person was working on it while the other two was standing around. I just left and went somewhere that literally took like 15 minutes. Was driving around yesterday helping in law get his out of state vehicle all set for Hawaii. Found Cesar's out of luck. He took us right in for a safety inspection. Vehicle didnt pass due to tint but Cesar and his staff were very helpful and so polite. We came back this morning all legal and Cesar took great care of us. This place also looks like one of those places where you feel you might get ripped off. Like, oh man, your flux capacitor is broken. We have to install a new 710 cap. You know something like that. Based on a recommendation from a coworker, I contacted Cesar's to see if they could look at my 2010 Buick Lacrosse. I figured out the battery was good, but it wouldn't start. Called on Monday, was told they could get to it on Thursday. Arranged for a tow through my USAA road side coverage, VIP Towing showed up, very professional, on time, picked up the car and skillfully dropped it at Cesar's. They figured out the starter was bad that day and called me in the morning (Friday) with the estimate. They completed the work on Friday and I picked it up on Sat, based on my schedule. I made a yelp account just for this. Brought in my two Hondas to Cesar's expecting the best service. One had a vacuum seal leak so we get it fixed. Then brought it back two weeks later because it lost power & told me what was wrong with it was actually the spark plugs so we get that fixed as well but takes him 5 hours I give him a phone call & tells me it's an electrical problem & that cars are like humans when they need Tylenol.. I took the vehicle to another auto repair & they tell me that the vacuum seal leak was not put in right. My second vehicle was fixed as well & my check engine light came on two days later after getting it fixed. I do not recommend Cesar's they just take your money and don't do things the right way from the start. I felt like I was getting cheated the whole time. read more

Worse shop I've ever been too. Took my car for A/C repair. They wanted to charge me more than estimated price due to his miscalculation. I turned in my car on Thursday and he said it be done Friday. Friday comes around and He calls saying it won't be done till Monday and hangs up on me. I call Monday for update and they say they not sure if they will be done with not ETA. Once got my car back, they did not connect all connections; then after all that my A/C did work but another noise was coming from A/C and use excuse of I can't hear and his answer was I think it's this and to fix will cost another hour of labor. But my thing is, you think it is this and if not no charge. Of course not. How do you have all these years of service/experience and your answers are I think. I would not recommend them to anyone. When was waiting for my car another person came in with a complain as well. Saying they did his transmission and every gear was making noise. Took my car in for safety check. Mechanic who speaks mostly spanish told me the rear light was out. They wanted to replace it. I checked it myself and it was working fine. When I complained to the owner, he only said, "Bring it back and we'll check it again." When Honolulu freezes over. They cost me 2 hours out of my day. Beware of these scammers. read more

7/8/2013 - Needed my master cylinder replaced, and also needed rotors & pads. I always call Cesar because I know he will give me a fair quote for repairs done. I provided him with the M/C , rotors & pads and he had the job completed before that day was out, and it only cost me $424 for all the work. Actually it was only $270 for the quoted work however when he began working on the car, he realized that both of my front brake lines needed to be replaced as one was leaking, even so, the brake lines were about $90., and he just charged me 1/2 hr labor but this was still very reasonable considering that other shops were quoting around $800., and this was with me supplying the parts. I will continue to take my car to this shop, he stands behind his work, and is very easy to deal with. He is the only mechanic I've known that will quote me a price, and honor that price even if he has to put in a little more more, he is the best, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SHOP AND SERVICES!! read more
