I really enjoyed my visit here. I started with the oysters. They were a good size and were very fresh. I had the fried grouper sandwich for my meal. I loved it. It was cooked perfectly and the special house made sauces were the best way to bring out even more flavor. My fiancé had the roux burger which he enjoyed as well. We will definitely visit again!

The Cajun nachos!!! Omg. Don't expect anything like a nacho you've had before. Made with house made potato chips and so much blue cheese. I wanted to keep eating them, but alas, the feast of chips eventually ran out. The lobster roll was also delicious, loaded with lobster meat, a lightly herbaceous mayo, and served with a cup of melted butter for dipping. So delicious!

I stopped in while visiting from out of town after seeing the one dollar oyster promotion during weekdays. Sitting outside was absolutely delightful. My server was also very pleasant and the oysters were nice and fresh. I ordered a cup of gumbo to go, which was alright. Overall, I had a very nice experience.

Stopped in here for a quick bite. Got the lovely burger and chicken sandwich. I thought that the sweet potato fries were especially yummy, there was some sort of cinnamon sugar on them! The only thing is the service was a bit slow, but it was super well worth it! I thought this was a cute little spot and I will definitely be back. Get the chicken sandwich!

Pretty good food. I got the roux bleu burger with fries. Not too bad. Good service. Good location to sit out and eat if you want to be in the middle of the action and feel the energy of Roswell

This restaurant is cute, great ambiance, and service at the bar was great. We were here during Alive in Roswell, so they were busy. We ordered a drink and the fried grouper. The fish was delicious, I just wish we got a little more for $15. We're planning on coming back for their oyster happy hour.

Coming to Roswell is always a wonderful occasion for us. Roux is one of many we had not tried and were welcome they had a seat for us without reservations. We started out with a couple of IPA, and they have some good selections on tap. Also started out with some oysters, which was another sort of seasonal item I had not had all summer. Yummy. Our host was awesome! For dinner I enjoyed the jambalaya for the second time in Roswell, and it was just what I needed. If you didn't have a reservation, then you aren't settling when you come to Roux.

Cute little place in Historic Roswell. They have indoor and limited outdoor seating and a good size bar. All the outdoor seating was taken so we sat inside at a highboy table. I'm a pescatarian and they have a good amount of seafood options. The waitress said the bean burger was made in house so I decided to give it a try. It was a pretty good choice but if I return I will try the fish. The fries were good (yes you can mess up fries). The margarita was amazinggg, which was expected because half the restaurant seemed to be the bar! Service was good- the waitress was very attentive!

This place is my absolute fav!! We came here for a drink and $1 oyster happy hour about 4 months ago.....now this is our place. My daughters and husband love the burgers, oh wait the bread and mussels are to die for!! All the wait staff is great but Devin is my favorite. If you are trying to decide between Roux on Canton or 1920 Tavern.........DO NOT GO TO 1920!!! I repeat DO NOT GO TO 1920!! Roux on Canton has great food trust me!! Thanks guys

We came here for a good meal and we definitely got one!! They even had trivia night which was fun! We started with an appetizers of hush puppies. They were pretty standard. Our meals were certainly above standard though. I ordered the skirt steak with roasted sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. I was extremely impressed!! My husband ordered the shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries which he really enjoyed. In fact, everyone at our table loved their meal. For dessert, we ordered the beignets which were huge and hot!! I would highly recommend this restaurant and you can even make a reservation for faster seating. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

We walked in mid-afternoon on a Sunday to grab a quick drink. We decided to get food and its a good thing we did. We weren't there to eat, but each got soup - chicken tortilla and gumbo. Great portions for cups of soups, great flavors, filled us up. it was perfect. Service was cheerful and attentive. Atmosphere was upbeat, a good afternoon crowd. And they had the basketball game on. Really good experience, will return & recommend!

The food was good. We sat at the bar. The grouper was perfectly cooked. Parking is paid on the street. The deviled eggs were a great way to start the meal and the pimento cheese fritters. I really like the pita chips as well.

    Enjoying Happy Hour $1 Oysters!

    They do weekdays, not weekends

Does Roux serve coffee? If not, any idea why not?

No. Wife wanted a cup with lunch and was told the place is too small.

As soon as we walked in, my daughter spotted an appetizer that a nearby table was enjoying, and she begged me to get the same thing. It seemed to be a tray of loaded fries. As I perused the menu, I decided that it must have been the pulled pork fries, so we started with that. Considering there were only two of us, we made a significant dent in this tray. It was delicious! On the bottom of the tray was a generous layer of beer cheese upon which the fries were laid and then topped with bbq pulled pork, a little bit of maybe sour cream or some other type of cream, and pico de gallo. The fries remained crispy throughout, and the whole thing had a great balance of flavor. 10/10 would recommend. Don't skip this app! The server was attentive, and when I was undecided, she suggested that I try the pulled pork grilled cheese. Since it was a lunch special, she told me I could get that in whole or half. I opted for half since we had such a big appetizer, and was glad to have that option. My daughter ordered the kids' mac and cheese with fries. The sandwich I ordered lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed it. I also tried my daughter's mac and cheese, which also seemed to have the beer cheese. It was probably the best kids' mac and cheese dish I've tried anywhere. Service was good, and the food was amazing, so we will likely be back soon. Great spot!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the hostess, plus a very inviting bar behind the stand. Prior to coming, we needed to change our reservation and they were happily able to accommodate. It was everyone's first time here, so the server explained how their menu works and what are the popular dishes. We started with the seasonal Thai salad, Smokey cabbage and pork belly. Our server put in the incorrect order, instead of the pork belly, she put in the chive fries, but she happily comped this due to error. Out of all the apps we tried, my favorite was the salad and actually the chive fries. Salad was fresh with corn, tomatoes, snow peas and the dressing was nicely salty and a bit spicy. The chive fries are reminiscent of chive pancake but cut in long strips, shaped like fries, though I found the sauce it came with too sweet. For our main entree, we all shared the chicken satay (my personal favorite and that satay sauce was to die for), crab fried rice (flavorful but found the old bay seasoning a bit too overpowering), whole market fish was trout that night (loved this was topped with a fresh salad) and crying thaiger (I didn't eat the steak but the grilled okra and the sauces were delicious). All of the entrees came with jasmine rice, but there's an option to get sticky rice and garlic rice for extra fee. I thought this was a good meal and our server was great. We found service to be a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. It got better towards the end of the night as people were leaving. They also gave free dessert as someone in our party was celebrating their birthday.
