Where to begin? The staff from the moment you enter was warm and welcoming. May seem simple but the chips and salsa was immaculate. The server also kept up with our chip and salsa demands which was great! As food passed by I couldn't help but ask what they were carrying because it all smelled so good. This is a Fabulous place to eat. I love the location on Canton Street with all the shops and everything. They have the best fajitas and everything! They have a wonderful menu of wine, beer, ad Tequila . Great Mexican Food! Wandered into Ceviche on a Friday night after it became clear that we'd have to wait over an hour for a table at any other restaurant on the block. What luck! Free chips and salsa, which are refilled on the regular. Husband got the steak tacos, and he said they were great. But the chile relleno was STELLAR. Cheese filled pepper, breaded, fried, covered in salsa rosa and on a bed of steak. It might be another one of those "is it really that great or am I just starving situations," but I am fairly certain that it was legitimately delicious. Skipped the beans, doubled the rice, and I was perfectly content. The only thing in which I can find fault is that our table seemed to have been squished into an area that was meant to be a walkway. There was no space to either side of us, leaving the servers and other patrons to bump into us every time they passed from the kitchen and bar to the tables. read more

Went here for lunch on sat with 2 friends. Server was nice！atmosphere, a little Cramped ! Ordered ceviche sampler small (since that's the name of the restaurant ceviche should be good i thought) bad Idea, I had many ceviche before and this probably is one of the worst i had! The seafood were not fresh. They try to use too much lime to try to cover up the not so fresh seafood. Fish taco ( their recomendation）same thing, too much sauce. Fish does not taste it was made that day Chicken enchilada ( their recommendation) I would say that's the best dish that day. However, it's not anything special about that dish at all! WE REALLY LIKED IT... MOSTLY. I had the honor of treating my wife to a nice meal at this very amazing, incredibly legit taqueria. The food was amazing and the portions not too shabby. They started us out with the complementary Chips and Salsa, which seemed to be made in-house and were very good. We opted for the Queso Dip with the Jalapeños and YUM! I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and she went for the Sopa de Res. He tacos were solid. Only downer was they were served on a single tortilla, which we all know, tends to fall apart, which mine did. The Sopa didn't disappoint. The service was a bit bleh, even though it was provided with a smile. It may sound a bit off the hinge, but it seemed there was more attention given to those of a lighter shade, which baffled me, considering they serve LATINO food. read more

Pretty crude mex food. I ordered an unsweetened tea. They were out. I had the fish tacos. They shred the fish until dry and crumbly. Came with rice and muddy beans. Waitress charged me for the tea she didn't serve. Very loud bomb shelter surroundings. Cement walls. Like most mex restaurants, you will leave with your clothes stinking of onions. Ceviche is a new Mexican restaurant in historic Roswell that bring fresh food and a great vibe to the area. My favorite is the Chicken Chimichanga, but the wife enjoys the chicken tacos. The chicken is a really fresh and shredded, which I prefer to the beef, but both are pretty good. The ceviche itself is pretty good (very citrus-y), but for appetizers I prefer the cheese dip with xtra jalapenos. Mango Margarita is the favorite for the wife (they poor it pretty strong) and I'm more of a beer man, which they have in bottles only. I'm a little biased by proximity, but the price is pretty good and you get a lot of food for your dollar. read more

Ceviche. Is. Great! This tiny spot puts out some amazing food. I must say that I am a huge fan of the fish tacos (that sauce is to die for!). My wife loves the shrimp and avocado salad. This place is jamming most all parts of the day; when it is nice outside, their patio fills up quick! Be weary of bringing small children, when they are busy, parents may quickly feel uncomfortably with the limited space in and around the tables. Next, they have a great selection of tequilas: my choice is a pitcher of Partida on the rocks; that always settles me down ^^. They have mammoth chalk boards on both sides of the restaurant that spell out what they carry. They have something for everyone! Their servers are always running around and I feel the service is always good when i go. This is a must visit place if you want "non-Americanized" quality Mexican food. read more

Busy busy busy...as usual and on a Wednesday no less! We walked inside and the din was so loud we opted for the hotter outside tables. The hostess brought us to a spot where two tables were pushed together. As we sat she pulled the other table about two inches from our table. Yep, it was for the couple behind us. That being said, the tight quarters didn't diminish the quality of service or food. Our margaritas were brought promptly and were strong and delish (although mine did have salt, it was still enjoyed). After a heavy internal debate on which dinner choice to choose (enchiladas verde or grilled shrimp) I decided on the shrimp as a "lighter" option in the heat. My dinner companion choose the pork tacos. We enjoyed warm chips and yummy salsa until our meal was brought out...two plates of enchiladas verde...hum..... Our water came right out, apologizing profusely. Not too much longer our correct meal was brought out and I was right...the grilled shrimp was amazing! None of the mistakes made a difference in our enjoyment of the evening. If you are looking for a lively eating environment with good food and drinks this is the place to go! read more

This is a nice place, though the place is a general Mexican spot. I came here for lunch and had a nice plate of beef and pork enchiladas. The beans were a bit soupy but otherwise fine. Overall, a notch up from the cheaper Tex-Mex places. If you're in the area, it isn't bad. The only caveat is that you have a lot of restaurants in the area so there is a lot of competition. I haven't spent enough time there to see what else is good. read more

Stopped in to Ceviche on the holiday weekend, as almost all of historic Roswell was packed. We were surprised we were able to be seated immediately inside this tiny little restaurant. The decor was very cute, however sitting next to a couple that was literally 6" next to you, was pushing the envelope IMO. They heard every word of our conversation and we heard every word of their conversation. This table should just be for parties of four, not two parties of two. The initial salsa and chips that were brought out were pretty good, although the chips were a little greasy and stick together. But the salsa was fresh and delicious. Since this place is called Ceviche, I got the ceviche sampler as my lunch, which included 3 ceviches. I got the Scallop, Shrimp and Mahi Mahi ceviches, with the Scallop being my favorite, the mahi mahi being pretty good, and I didn't finish the shrimp it was so rubbery and bland. I also got the soup Taquitos con Sopa Autentico. The soup was just okay and the chicken taquitos that came with the soup were also really pedestrian. I would not order that again. My husband got the pork burrito, and thought it was just okay. It was good, but it wasn't anything that would draw us back from out of the area. Service was slow, and indifferent, but I kind of want to give them a pass because it was Labor Day, and they were packed and it was super hot and they were working a holiday. There was plenty of parking in the lot across the street, but it does turn to a pay lot at night it appeared. Overall: Ceviche is a fine place if you are in the area and craving some chips and salsa, but it wasn't anything that stood out either. read more

Strolled in here for the first time last Saturday night and we were greeted by the owner. Before we even sat down he asked if we'd like a shot on the house as the restaurant was celebrating its ninth anniversary. Sure why not?! We sat at the bar and munched on the chips and salsa while browsing the menu. I ordered the chicken tostadas (amazing) and my buddy got something that was equally as scrumptious (can't remember what it was). Like I said it was my first time here but the food and service was great and I'll certainly be coming back! Only reason for the lack of a five star review is the "no stand zone" behind the bar. Please don't call yourself Ceviche taqueria and YOU don't know how to make it! Really?! This place was over priced and underwhelmed when it came to food! We ordered 1 pork tacos (3) per plate and of course the ceviche, shrimp. Two drinks and a side of guacamole for chips. The ceviche was a bunch of small size shrimp on a PLATE with diced tomatoes, a few cubes onions, and a "sprinkle" of cilantro with a little lemon taste and no seasoning or flavor along with five saltine crackers: ( (wonk, wonk). (I know, I should have taken a picture cause you don't believe it, I couldn't believe it, either). I have eaten this dish from coast to coast and in Mexico and never have I ever seen or been given such a lazy made dish. Usually, there is a cocktail sauce base the shrimp marinates in with lemon, cilantro, cucumbers, sometimes a hint of garlic, diced scallions or onions, (sometimes diced jalapeño) all presented in a large cocktail goblet adorned with lemon wedges and plenty of crackers. Then, the tacos come out and since they are wrapped in only one corn tortilla, as soon as you pick it up it falls apart through your fingers. Usually they wrap tacos with two tortillas to prevent this. The rice was fine but The black beans were given in the smallest container I've ever seen, not even a portion but a little container used for side dressing. Really, as expensive as it was, you couldn't throw in a whole portion of black beans ? The only good thing about this place is the service -NOT the cooks! I spend close to $75 with 20% tip, 2 drinks, 1 pork taco dinner, 1 shrimp ceviche, 1 side guacamole. Lesson learned - I won't be back. read more

Good food and reasonably priced. I like the back deck in particular. It just has a nice clean feel too it, even if you don't have the people watching opportunities you do out front. If you weren't aware of it try it something, especially of you want a place with less traffic coming by. It is actually pretty quiet. The inside and front patio can feel quite crowded and loud.... As stated in other reviews, the chips and salsa are pretty good. I also like the fish tacos, and the chimichanga, which has plenty of cheese. Yum! Service is also good. I've never been blown away, but I've never been disappointed either. And as I'm a big fan of consistency i like this. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at in the Roswell area, I have been a regular there for a few years now. A few of my favorites on the menu that I would highly recommend would be Elsa's Enchiladas, Steak Chimichanga, Grilled Scallop Salad, and of course the queso is to die for! But I really do enjoy everything I've had on the menu. Drinks are always very yummy and there is a wide selection of tequilas as well as a fair amount of other alcohol choices if you are not a tequila drinker. Service is always extremely attentive and informative, and management seems very organized and on top of every aspect in the restaurant. read more

I cannot believe that my husband and I have been looking for a Mexican place around here that is, at the very least, decent -- why is that so hard to find? Ironically, we are big fans of most of the restaurants on Canton St. and somehow have managed to miss this place over and over. Right away, we fell in love with their chips and salsa. The salsa had just the right kick. My chicken chimichanga was very tasty; it wasn't overcooked or drowning in plastic-y queso. It came with a side of rice and beans, which I was also a fan of. My husband had a steak quesadilla. He took one bite, passed it to me and said, "You have to try this." It was good, delicious food. Reasonably priced, too. We will definitely be back. I'm curious to try other things. Service was a little slow at times, but he was always friendly. I tried a house margarita, and it was okay. Gorgeous night in downtown Roswell. While we were waiting for an outside table my wife and daughter went shopping, and me, well I went to the bar. The bartender Matt did a great job and was very engaging. AJ immediately brought over some chips and salsa. When we sat our waiter, Paul, came right over and his service was impeccable as was AJ's. I'm always a fan of enjoying some Mexican food out on a patio, and the day I went I got to enjoy a table outside. While there isn't a ton of seating outside, I consider it more of a cozy patio where you can enjoy watching people stroll by. While enjoying the patio I ordered the mojito margarita, which was fantastic. Since I enjoy both a mojito or a margarita, why not enjoy the best of both worlds! My wife ordered a skinny margarita in the spirit of trying to save a few calories, and it was only OK. When she tasted mine, she also agreed how good it was. Hey, you never know if you might find your next favorite thing unless you try something new. We also ordered some tacos with my wife going for the fish and myself venturing for the shrimp. The shrimp tacos were solid, but the fish tacos were awesome. In terms of the fish taco, we went for the grilled version which is our preference but also appreciate a place that offers a choice of grilled or fried. My only knock on the place is that I thought the drinks were a tad pricey for what we got, but not out of reason. The service was friendly and timely without feeling rushed since we were enjoying the chance to sit outside. I'm looking forward to my next visit where I can order the fish tacos with my mojito margarita and chill out on the patio. read more

I love Ceviche - I had it in Cozumel a few years ago and became and addict. The food here is pretty decent, parking can be a bit hard to find on the weekends. It was crowded and the service was average. They should put a little bit of money in the restaurant - plastic chairs are a little bit passee. P.S. I ordered Shrimp Diablo as delivery on ubereats. There is more sauce than shrimp. The shrimp still has the tails on it. I had to dig through my food with my hands to remove them, ruining my manicure. I called to complain and was told that's how it's prepared. She then told me to have a day nice which was like getting kicked in the teeth. I just ruined a $60 manicure, and this food is not even good. But okay lady because you said so I'm sure everything will be fine now. read more

One of my favorite Mexican places.....when the service is good. The food and drinks are GREAT, and it's got a great atmosphere especially during spring, summer and fall...sitting out on the sidewalk is pretty cool. The only downside is the slightly clueless staff. We had lunch here today and our waitress was TERRIBLE! The food however was good so we'll continue to come back. I highly recommend Ceviche for a fantastic Taqueria meal. They do have more than just tacos too! The guacamole dip is to stand in line for; I know I would. They also have a Tequila Tasting on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Very friend staff, outdoor seating in Historic Roswell on Canton Street, convenient parking, and reasonable prices. Came here for lunch on Saturday, place looked empty from the outside but was buzzing inside. There weren't any tables open but we decided to eat at the bar anyway. Friendly and helpful service from our bartender. She made fantastic margaritas that were not too sweet and not too strong, but strong enough. My wife tried a mojito and loved it. The food was very good. I had the house special which was a ground beef taco and a couple of enchiladas, and it was delicious. My wife had the pork barbacoa, she barely made a dent in the huge portion but said it was great. Perfect place to get lunch in Roswell. I had such a great experience here. I came in on a Friday night without a reservation and was told kindly by the hostess that there would be a wait. The manager, Kelsey, who was on the floor helping out, came up to greet us an apologize for the wait, and even offered to bring us drinks while we waited! We expected a wait because of the peak time, so this really went above and beyond. The wait ended up being short and I could tell the entire staff was working hard to turn tables. The food and service was well worth the wait. Our drinks were never empty, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had house margaritas and they were amazing! It was great to see a manager so actively engaged with what was going on on the floor- she was not above taking empty plates and helping the servers out by checking on tables.
