I was surprised by the prices for 1 chicken arepa, $16.99 is a rip off. Miami has arepas $11.99 and Miami cost of living is extremely high. I have been to CFS Coffee (Lake Nona) twice. Both times, the young lady at the counter just looked at me and the other customers. No "hello", "good morning". She does not understand English well and this caused both of my orders to be wrong. Despite ordering the same thing both times, the price differed by over $2. The second time there, I sat at my table while people that ordered after me were served their coffee and food. When I went to the counter to inquire, the same young lady looked at me like she had never seen me and did not understand that my order had not come to my table. I had been there 30 minutes at this point. Finally, the Barista brought my coffee and told me that the order had been lost. Food is good (not great) but customer service is awful and wait times are way too long for a coffee shop. I will go once more, but if a similar experience, will be done. read more

Have been anticipating a "coffee shop" opening and they have finally opened their doors! I was curious to see the place and went inside and was very delighted to see how nice the place is. The place was booming... lots of seating space, lots of various pastries to choose from in a very nice set up where you can indulge and pick one or two of the yummy looking pastries. I only ordered coffee on this visit, Cafe con Leche to be exact. Great coffee! Great set up. Nice staff. I am so pleased that we have a coffee place in this location! An alternative to the "other" places. I will be choosing this place when I have a hankering for Colombian coffee! Amazing flavor of timed and careful detailed attention to the brewing and frothing of the milk. It takes someone with the experience and knowledge to prepare a perfect latte. I had heard from many of my neighbors that CFS was definitely a good spot for brunch. I decided to go not too long ago and parking is pretty limited as the plaza where they are located has many other restaurants and offices. The next issue I had with CFS is that it is extremely small and it does tend to get packed in there, the line goes out to the front door. The food is good, nothing special to be honest and for what it was I must say it was a bit pricey for breakfast, we spent about $60 on food and portions were small. Although aesthetically it is beautiful very modern cafe style I do not think I will return. read more

We were in the Lake Nona area waiting for Publix to fill a prescription and decided to get some brunch. This little cafe was close by and, based on the nice reviews, we decided to try it. It is located in a little strip of businesses off busy Narcossee Drive but very easy to access. There is a notice saying that capicity is limited to 49 so it's a cozy place. We were greeted nicely upon entering by the bustling staff. You order at the counter. They have a mix of breakfast sandwiches and lunch items. We decided to share a Cuban snd we both ordered cafe con leches. The sandwich came with chips or a salad and we picked the later. We were handed a number to place on our table. The atmosphere here was great. Lots of neat artwork and knickknacks to look at. Soon our coffee arrived in beautiful mugs on saucers. I looked underneath expecting to see the standard "made in China" but was surprised to see it was made and hand painted in Columbia. When our sandwich arrived we were glad we were sharing as it was huge. The mixed greens salad was yummy when drizzled with the vinegrette that came with it in a little cup. The Cuban was wonderful - as my mom said "even the pickle was elevated". All the servers were kind and very attentive. Our coffee was some of the best I've ever had and made me wish we had these cafes back home. I don't know if other locations in the Orlando area are as great as this one but I would go back here for breakfast or lunch! Very enjoyable. read more

It was very strong and came with beautiful latte art! The coffee was smooth and I could clearly taste the lavender flavor without a bitter aftertaste. The ambience is also nice and inviting. It doesn't get too loud and I saw several parties studying. However, this place is a little on the pricey side - over $7 including tax/tip for one mug of coffee can be a lot for some people. But, CFS is still a worthwhile place to check out in the Lake Nona area! read more

This place is small but very comfortable. The coffee is out of this world and food is delicious as well. I had the caprese omelet and it was delicious. We visited today for the first time. We went to grab breakfast and it was a little difficult to choose something for the kids. They offer yuca waffle and protein pancakes but these options are not usually something the kids enjoy. I go here often. I was in again today and ordered my usual quadruple latte. It was delicious as usual. My husband was with me today and he also ordered and loved his coffee. I had a nasty fall in the shop this morning on my way back to my seat and slipped and fell and spilled my coffee everywhere. The workers were very helpful and attentive. As I was cleaning up before I could even ask, they quickly had another latte at my table without hesitation and obviously as it should be, so I was pleased once again by their friendliness and hospitality along with their attentiveness in my situation. read more
