The CFY crew added an OSB diamond‑deck moisture barrier about six times more effective, than the paper we'd been using. They ripped out the leaky external roof vents put in a full‑house ridge vent and that let us ditch the powered vent that was also letting water in. Every house vent got resealed. On top of that I snagged a 25‑year roof‑insurance policy, which covers parts and labor for the quarter‑century. It's definitely worth every penny. I say this as we had gotten an estimate from them last year; however, did not pull the trigger until some rain we gotten had revealed a leak upstairs so it was time.
