Excellent from start to finish. I have had a leak around my skylight which got worse with recent storms. Glam had left me a brochure on door handle and I used that to call them - they scheduled a consult right away, did thorough review, decided proposal and began work the following day! Amazing service! I called asking for a quote and they scheduled an inspection quickly to give us a quote. Everything was super quick which is amazing in a pinch. The staff was super friendly and they had very fair pricing. They didn't try to sell me anything, but explained to me throughly the change orders they were proposing. They finished our roof in about 3 days? We did have a little bump in the road. Thet accidentally broke one of our garage door panel windows. They boarded it up and quickly went to repair it. They even replaced the other panel window so that it would match still. I wouldn't drop a star off of this due to their quick action. They also send text update videos of the project so I can see where they are on their progress. 10/10 would recommend them! read more

I just had a great roof repair experience with Glam Construction and Roofing. When I recently moved into my home in Redwood Shores, a home inspection revealed that my roof had a few leaks. After reading a lot of great reviews for Glam Construction, I called them for an estimate. Ron came over, got on my roof, and took a lot of pictures. Not only did some of my shingles have leaks, but the wood on my chimney had a lot of dry rot and my rain gutters were all leaking at the seams. I called a couple of other companies for bids, but they didn't work on all the areas that needed repair. So I hired Glam. They sent a team of three guys over, and they got the work done in about two hours. They took pictures of all 17 areas they worked on, and everything looks great. Wendy and Carmen were my customer service team at the office, and they were very helpful. I'm one happy customer! read more

These guys were great from beginning to end. Our skylight was broken by another roofing company, and they couldn't fix it. So I had to find another roofer. Out of 3 total bids they were the highest, but they gave me more information than the other companies (materials used, warranties, extra maintenence that was needed etc) and most importantly, they were organized and it seemed like working with them would be a seamless experience - and it was. I'm glad I went with them. They communicated very well during the process, showed me photos of progress and did everything they said they would do. The quote I received to replace the roof was TWICE the price of two other *free* quotes I received (also from highly rated Yelp businesses). They have been so responsive with any worries and issues I have regarding my house that was purchased in July 2021. Early December (2022), Vidal and his roofer came by to perform an inspection in my stairway area, where a leak occurred during the heavy rain. It only happened once, but wanted to prevent it for the future so I contacted Glam Construction/Roofing. Vidal and his team were able to determine the issue, reseal and fixed an area of the roof above my stairway. After these past few storms and rain, no more leakage! In addition to the roof, I inquired about installing a trim for my door in the garage and to paint 2 doors, which turned out great. My daughter reported a rainwater leak from a roof repair that Vidal and his team did a few years back. Fearful of the current rainstorms, I called Vidal immediately and he responded saying that he will be there within an hour. What responsiveness!!! And that's a Saturday! And sure enough he showed up with his big truck of tools and ladders and with 2 workers. He was shown the water leak, which turned out to be a new one, unrelated to the one he fixed a few years back. At his direction, his workers filled in the window gaps with caulking all around to ensure that the rainwater won't go in. Although Vidal and his team spent travel time and actually did the repair, he refused payment even if I insisted 3 times. He must have considered that new repair as minor, compared to the work that they did a few years ago that was still good. I've never had that kind of service before. What a great experience! Vidal. I contacted GLAM roofing as we were in need of replacing our roof. I was in touch with Vidal. He was very attentive and kept in constant communication. I really appreciated his follow up and patience answering all of my questions and providing references. In addition, he came over a few times to take another look at areas around the building pertaining to questions I had and show us materials. The experience with Vidal was pleasant and informative. We had a few leaks in our roof of 3 years that was replaced by the previous owner of the house when he sold it. We reached out to GLAM Roofing through Yelp looking for roof repair and within 15-20 minutes I got contacted by Vidal. Vidal came the next day to assess the situation, Vidal inspected the problem area but also the entire roof and provided us with a couple of options. Giving that the roof is fairly new, we decided to go for the repair option. Two days later we had a crew working on the roof and they did an amazing job. Requested a gutter cleaning quote and received a prompt reply their cleaning services start at $2500. Thinking that was just a typo, I asked and indeed they confirmed there was no typo. I received 7-8 other quotes elsewhere, none over $300. I have also received quotes for brand new gutters for less than what they are asking for to clean them. If you don't want to do this job, just be up front about that. Don't insult prospective customers with these games. Second star for prompt responses. read more

I found Glam Roofing on yelp with high ratings so called them to inspect a rental that had water damage and mold growth in the interior. A few suspected culprits: a leaky roof, window condensation/leaking, and high humidity/lack of ventilation. I sent the request through yelp and got a response right away. I spoke with Vidal on the phone and explained my concern for a potential leak. He asked all the right questions and scheduled an appointment at my convenience. I exchanged texts with George, the office/dispatcher. He also texted me the morning of our appt to give me an ETA. Vidal, the tech, arrived early and texted me from the front of the house. I arrived and he greeted me. He was well presented in logoed company attired and drove a company truck. We started with an inspection of the interior of the house. To my luck, Vidal spoke fluent Spanish so the tenants were able to explained directly what they were seeing. He spent a lot of time both talking and listening, then inspecting the concern areas in multiple rooms. After the analysis, Vidal explained that some lifestyle changes would help with the humidity and mold, like opening windows and doors often for venting. His suggestions all made a lot of sense. We proceeded outside to take a look at the roof itself. Vidal removed a semi deflated ball and debris that were trapped inside the gutter. He also took pictures of concern areas with an iPad to show me things to pay attention to and that needed to be addressed. He gave me quotes for the different options and also gave me tips on how to do the repair myself and materials I would need. Ultimately, he recommended that I could do it myself because it wasn't a hard job and it'd save a lot of money. His simple visit made a big impact: educated the tenants of their habits, clearing the gutter, the tips he gave me were invaluable, and more. If I could give them more stars, I would. They are the perfect example about how all contractors should be. I feel guilty for the time he spent and not hiring him for work but will send more referrals his way. They were the only company willing to come out (7pm!) to assess our roof DURING the crazy storm with gale force winds last week. We had what we thought was our ENTIRE roof landing across the front of our home (turned out to be a neighbor's roof, instead). But we wouldn't have known had Vidal not come through for us in this emergency situation. I called Glam and got the immediate respond form Vidal, who inspected teh roof , didn't do any comments on teh work previously was done and suggested the plan of action to fix teh roof. His team worked all day on my roof, did more than was planned and finally the problem was fixed. The latest rains showed no leakage. So was able to patch and paint my wall. The roof on my family home was just completed within the last week. Last roof that was put on was in the 80's.!
