I'm giving 5 stars because I love the franchise. I was thrilled when they were opening one closer to my home and went during the soft opening. I got my usual early grey milk tea with Boba. Boba is the best I've had in the area. The earl grey was very disappointing. I've gone back probably six times since they've opened and have tried the scallion pancake, tofu, popcorn chicken and were all very delicious. I've loved everything just as much as the other locations except for the earl grey- my old favorite. I know it's early so I'll get it again in time! The winter melon tea has been my go to at the cary location. You guys rock! Edit: Their earl grey is now up to par and delicious. The manager is the sweetest and most caring woman. She made me an earl grey herself and remembered me. She also let me and my boyfriend try the crystal Boba. I didn't think it was possible to impress me further, but this place continues to do so! Black milk tea with boba was very good - not too sweet and had a strong tea flavor as I like it, but not enough boba. It was definitely better than Milk Lab and probably Brecotea as well, though Brecotea puts more bobas in. The restaurant was crowded and social distancing wasn't being enforced, which made me uneasy (Milk Lab wins for COVID precautions). I'd like to try the food but maybe not until COVID calms down. read more

This is a great little spot for Boba and also bubble waffles. When i first visited, they had a concert pianist outside who played the classics beautifully. I ordered a Strawberry Matcha and sat outside. It was a lovely "total" experience and the tea was fantastic! read more

We had Dirty Tiger and Mango Matcha. My husband really loved the Dirty tiger, the caramel and the boba do add flavour to it. Mango matcha is exactly something you should go for if you are a matcha person. The touch of mango gives a tropical flavour to the matcha.. read more

This was my first time having boba tea. I read their website and loved the back story. The place is airy and bright and very clean. The girl who waited on me was friendly and gave great customer service. I appreciated feeling welcomed so much because it's so rare these days. She helped me narrow down the choices I had on my list. I got a classic black milk tea with boba. The tea was excellent!! The bobas were so stuck in the straw I basically kept the straw mid-air so I could drink the tea! I tried the boba with the tea and ate one plain out the cup. I think it tasted like fig maybe? It wasnt bad but I just dont get their purpose. Do you drink the tea and eat the bobas from the bottom? Are you supposed to let them flavor the tea and throw it out? I'm happy I went to Cha House regardless. Price was good too. I'd go back for sure but may skip the bobas. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! I ordered a Dirty Tiger with extra boba. I ended up receiving a "Double Dirty Tiger" which has two shots of espresso and is completely different from what I originally ordered. When I went to correct the drink I was immediately SCOLDED by the employee and the manger behind the counter! On top of their open display of embarrassing their customer they told me that I should've known that this is a tea house and most of their drinks contain caffeine which couldn't be farther from the issue. I asked them to please remake my drink and they refused saying that in their POS system it shows that I ordered what I WRONGLY received. I told them that there must've been a misunderstanding when it was entered because I clearly said DIRTY TIGER WITH EXTRA BOBA and they said that they would not remake it for me and if I wanted it then I would have to pay them again. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ROBBERY!!!!!! Needless to say I will never be coming back again and I will do my due diligence to tell everyone I know to not patronize this joke of a business. Your employees act like there aren't plenty of other tea houses around to patronize that will give you teas just as good if not better without the terrible employees and business practice. I got their winter melon green tea and a green onion scallion pancake - both were yummy :) It was my first time trying winter melon and half sugar was a bit too sweet for my liking (which I am surprised by bc I literally sugar) but the brown sugar boba was super chewy and qq! The green onion scallion was nice and warm and actually had egg and a salty paste inside as well - so very delicious too But best part of Cha House was their pretty interior and really nice servers :) ! Ok so ive been to this boba shop multiple times and ordered a thai tea my usual but i tried wanting something different because i know different boba shops make their tea different. So i wanted to try the classic black milk tea, it was awful!!! Compared to other boba shops i've been too!! and the lady told me id be charged entirely for another drink no discount no nothing when the cup was still practically full!! So i threw the cup away and walked out at that point it was awful and horrible service on their end. Last time i wanted to try a new drink the cashier was kind enough to say that if i dont like the drink i could get another for free but was no need because i liked the drink!! Wish that happened today because the classic black milk tea they have there tastes awful! Other then that the atmosphere is great, but after that encounter of trying a drink from their recipe and having to purchase another one because i just didnt like it is service i do not want at all!! read more

The best bubble tea spot in the Cary area!! I come here *at least* once a week, and no matter what I order, the tea is always not too sweet, flavorful, and delicious :) they have a extremely diverse menu (with super authentic and freshly made to order Taiwanese street food that is definitely worth the price!!). I've brought friends who were visiting from the Bay Area and LA, who have all agreed that Cha House is on par with some of the best bubble tea spots in those areas as well! Boba itself is good and sweet. I got the dirty tiger which was mostly caramel but pretty good. My husband got the basic black milk tea and it was good but didn't really have the milk tea flavor. They also have food and other desserts that look good so if you're looking for more than just boba this is the spot. read more

We've been to the original location in chapel hill many times because they have the best teas in our opinion, but I was very disappointed in this location. I got the lychee green tea and the tea was bitter and caused me to have dry mouth/throat all day/night, meaning that the green tea was overly steeped, too high of temperature of water was used when steeping, or bad quality teas are being used. I'm assuming staff needs to be retrained because I don't remember having this issue at the chapel hill location. read more

The bubble waffles were so good we didn't even want to share with each other :D We don't typically eat a lot of sweets all at one time but we just couldn't seem to stop eating! I was really disappointed to see that this place had so many good reviews and yet the experience didn't match up. The girl with the cardigan and bangs took my order and she was a bit rude to me but when her friends came in, she was super nice and enthusiastic. I ordered 3 waffles and I asked her nicely how long will the waffles take and she told me 10 minutes and she said it as if she was so annoyed at me for asking. The waffles actually took 20-25 minutes so I wished they would've told me the truth. The drinks were ok, I said less sweet and the drink still tasted super sweet. The waffles tasted so sour that we threw the rest away. At least the guy working with her was nice and didn't act like he hated his job. Didn't like my experience here and I will never go here again, especially visiting from California, I would've liked my experience here to be good but I guess not. Here during the soft opening. They are so friendly and welcoming upon coming in and were super fast in getting orders out. I got the Black Milk Tea and Pork Chop Rice and they were perfect, the rice was super tasteful. I also got the Creme Brûlée cheese cake, which was absolutely delicious, richly and perfectly creamy. This is the most disgusting milk tea place I've ever went. The cheese cap is saltier than pickle, I literally coughed so hard when I tried it. I ordered 25% sugar but I think they messed up my order, it's undrinkable sweet. Just a very disgusting combination of overly salty and overly sweet.
