Ordered grilled pork bahn mi and Thai green tea. My honest opinion, I've had better and worse. The meat portion inside the sub is good. However it is lacking in flavor within the meat marinate or the sauce inside the sub. So far the banh mi from pho Thien phat has the best bahn mi in Cary in my opinion. Paris Banh Mi is a spot that deserves more attention than I've seen it get - it's rare to see bold and unapologetic flavors, and the offering of Banh Mi with paté in it is a step in the right direction. The interior gives the impression of a bakery like Paris Baguette, if you're familiar with that vibe, with a number of offerings beyond their hearty banh mi and croissant sandwiches. With that being said it's a cute spot for lunch and cute pics. On top of sandwiches it has some pastries and a neon angel wing wall. I got the shredded chicken banh mi and it was very good. I recommend getting some sweet chilli sauce to pair with it, it's on the counter for customers to self pour. The chicken flavor is soy based. If you're looking for lemongrass flavored bang mi they don't have that. The bread is also pretty crunchy. I didn't mind it but it may not be for everyone. Love the casual nature of Paris Banh Mi. Once you order at the front, they are relatively quick with getting your order out, which makes it nice for takeout. They also have a small selection of baked goods that are ok. Nothing to write home about, but nice to have those options. Personally, I love to separate out my Banh Mi from the vegetables and eat the vegetables on the side. The bahn mi here are huge. Served on a soft, warm crusty baguette and delicious. Since I could only eat half, it's like 2 meals in one. Came here Saturday for their soft opening. Ordered a banh mi and 3 drinks. The inside is very nice, it doubles as a mini bakery when you walk in, and there is plenty of seating inside. The banh mi was pretty good, I'm by no means an expert, but I haven't found another comparable banh mi in the area so I would say this one is a winner. As for the drinks they were all great, but my only complaint is the ice. There is an absurd amount of ice in these drinks. The ice is filled almost all the way up in the cup! It's their soft opening and parking was full! It was crowded and it was a bit confusing because I did not know who paid and who was waiting. Everyone is pretty scattered. I had to ask a cashier if I can order. So, it turned out everyone there already ordered and waiting. I give it more a 4.5 stars because of this but I know once they are in full swing, this little feedback will get better and they will get everything figured out. If you are only getting a drink, it's pretty fast but if you are getting a sandwich, I think you have a longer wait time. I got in and out in less than 5mins since I got a pastry that's already wrapped and a tea. One thing was very intriguing to me, the artichoke tea. So I got this. It doesn't taste like a steamed artichoke. It looks like it has chia seeds on top and I added boba. I should have gotten less ice because a few sips and I was left with more ice, hardly any tea, and sipping on ice. The boba tasted more like a jelly but I do not mind it. The Danish chocolate is pretty good. Flaky croissant with a good amount of filling. Will definitely come back and try their sandwiches next time. I like to give restaurants a lot of leeway because I understand the business is difficult, but this was offensive. We ordered grilled pork bahn mi sandwiches for pickup, and I have never had pork this dry and overcooked in my life. They were closer to strips of hard, lukewarm, unchopped bacon bits that had been sitting out for days than anything resembling grilled pork, and genuinely clinked against my plate. The food is fair and coming from LA I had set my expectations a bit low so I was happily surprised that we enjoyed the bahn mi, their boba was fresh and soft, pastries were good. However, they seem to be understaffed because the person taking orders at the front seemed overwhelmed by the volume customers coming in while also having to make all of the drink orders. We ordered a drink, bbq pork bahn mi, two grab and go pastries, and a pork bun from behind the counter. Our drinks took forever to come out because of the issue I described earlier and when we approached the young lady taking orders and making drinks that customers who ordered after us were getting their drinks before us she said "Just one more minute" even though she had said the same thing to us 10-15 minutes prior. This place can be really great if they just hire some more help and also take care to clean tables. I went back to my car while we were waiting for our food to get disinfectant wipes to clean our sticky table. I shouldn't have to do this at any restaurant. I got a shredded chicken Banh Mi... Probably the best Banh Mi I ever had! They made it just like I wanted: extra jalapeno, no cucumber! Amazing baguette! They had plenty of sriracha at the ready! I got there around 11:45am on a Sunday and I was the only customer at the time. They turned my order around quickly and I just had time to take some photos of their amazing pastries. Came here on a monday afternoon, after their soft opening. Loved the deals they had going on so we ordered 6 banh mi and 3 drinks total. They also had a selection of pastries and desserts but we didn't get any. They had a cash and credit price for everything so just keep that in mind. The banh mi were all roughly about $8 each and drinks were about $6-$7 each. The drinks were ok, nothing special. I got the Paris by night which looked like a brown sugar milk tea but it tasted like straight up milk and that's it. The lychee tea and thai tea were good. The special combination banh mi was delicious, loved how thin and crispy the bread was. We also got the grilled pork banh mi which was just ok. I would rate this place 3.5, overall. Their banh mi is priced well, for the amount of meat they put in it, but it tasted okay. I ordered the banh mi dac biet - it was very filling, it had a lot meat for $8 but the flavor was lacking.. I hope the do something about it, bc I feel like it has a lot of potential. And they could definitely put more pate in it- it was almost unnoticeable. Their pastries are pretty expensive for the size. They look rather flat for almost $4. I refuse to pay that much for a pastry for that size. Although, we did get a pate chaud - it was good, but didn't really taste pate, it was more like a meatball, but good nonetheless. The grilled pork banh mi had more flavor but they really need that oomph. While writing this review (saved draft), we came here for the 2nd time, and this time they put more butter and pate in their banh mi dac biet, so it was a little better. Place was clean. Staff was nice enough. I ordered a Korean corn dog. It was raw and they were nice to give me another one no charge but that one was still RAW. I would have taken up a refund offer if given but they didn't and I didn't feel like hassling them more. Banh mi is okay. Passionfruit Slush is yummy. We ordered 5 special Banh Mi and 1 Grilled Pork Banh Mi, but when it was rung up, it was 5 of a different one (the Banh Mi Jambon). We asked to correct it and then they changed it to 6 Specials, still not what we ordered. They fixed it in the end. Their vietnamese coffee was really yummy, however - not as much ice as other places which is nice. Wait time isn't too bad. Lychee slush is also yummy! The service was a bit on the slow side for the two times I went. I was pretty disappointed after giving it a second try because the cashier was stuffing her face with food and didn't speak at all while taking my order, but the co-worker beside could've jumped in her place. They do charge different prices if you pay cash vs card. I was hoping the first time I got a bad batch of pate in my sandwiches but apparently that's their signature pate that I am not very fond of when usually I'd ask for extra pate if I ate anywhere else. Definitely cannot even taste any of the Vietnamese mayo which is another signature of banh mi's flavors... just really disappointed overall because we don't have good banh mi shops around the RDU. read more

I came during their soft opening as I haven't found a single Banh mi place in the Triangle I even remotely like. Hands down, this is the best banh mi place we have in the area so far! No question about it. However that doesn't mean it is the best I've had. If they changed just a few things then I think it would go from good to great. The pros here are that they bake their own bread! The bread is so important and if all the places I've tried in the Triangle their bread is the best. The overall flavors are delicious but definitely lacking components that would make it stand out. They offer pate however it is not in every sandwich option and is a $1 charge if you choose to add it on. Also there just wasn't that much of it. I didn't really notice it in my sandwich. The mayo could have been more rich and again there could have been more of it. Lastly there definitely wasn't enough garnish (cilantro or pickled veggies). I will try asking for more next time. Overall it will hit your banh mi craving, but I really hope the owners consider these areas for improvement! read more

Went on Saturday for their soft opening. Ordered 5 Combination Banh Mi and Cafe Muoi. Banh Mi: I asked them to toast it for me, but bread was not crispy at all. It was actually kinda soft, wasn't flaky at all. They had a lot of meat but it wasn't quality meats. I couldn't taste the buttery mayonnaise that I usually like in a Vietnamese Banh Mi. Cafe Muoi: Way too much ice and too much cold foam/cream. Couldn't taste the coffee. The Starbucks Cafe Muoi hack tastes better in my opinion. Overall: I am glad we have a new Banh Mi spot, but it was just wasn't to my personal liking. The bread didn't have that fragrance that I look for in am authentic VNese banh Mi. We had lunch at this new spot in Cary. The service was friendly and prompt. We had the grilled pork bah mi. The flavor was great and the bread was nice a crispy outside with a soft inside. Our only feedback would be to moisten the meat up a bit more with the grilling sauce and maybe a bit more of the mayo. We also got a corndog dipped in flaming Cheetos. I am not a big corndog person but this one was great. The hot dog was tasty and the breading soft. The inside is clean and well landed out. The menu board was large and easy to see. I was very excited for the opening of this establishment. I finally got around to trying it today, I was sadly disappointed. I grabbed a cheese danish on the way in from the pastry set on the side. They all looked really good. I also grabbed a pork bun, and I ordered the hot Cheeto mozzarella dog. They do have a long wait time so just be aware, the pork bun was great but i wish it was minced instead of one meatball in the middle of the bun. But the flakiness was perfect! However the cheese danish wasnt that great. It taste like the ones you get in a pack at costco, not flaky or anything. And the mozzarella dog was not good, very oily and bready, i wouldnt get it again. But I'd definitely return to try their drinks and maybe other pastries. read more
