We were greeted warmly and with water bottles. The spa was super clean and the staff was super nice. I thought I was going to have an issue communicating but everyone spoke English well enough. The room we had our couples massage in was lightly lite with a subtle red light to help soothe. The massage therapist were good, not the best I have ever had, but good. I wished the massage had a little more pressure but it was so relaxing I fell asleep which I never do. They do aromatherapy during the session were they put a minty eucalyptus scent near your face for you to inhale and that was really nice and soothing. The lotion that they used was not overly oily which I liked since it still left a nice hydrated feeling after the massage was done. Cons for me was that the room was really cold at points. Maybe warm it up just a bit. I can't really complain though since this was he cheapest place I could find that wasn't sketchy. I would highly consider coming back here though and would recommend it to others. I think I should have asked her to push a little harder since I usually get deep tissues but decided to try the relaxing massage for the couples massage. read more

Great little spa in the Marina Vallarta, we walked in and booked a massage for 4hrs later. Good prices, $580 pesos for 75min relaxing and a bit more for deep tissue. The masseuses didn't speak any English, but were friendly, and did a great job. Nice clean rooms without all of the noise of a busy street or busy beach. We went back the next day before our flights. If I am back in the area, I will definitely go back. read more

This was one of the worst massages I have ever had. There was a thin sheet that they had my husband and I lay on and when I asked for a towel as well they told me no the sheet is enough. My masseuse was very pregnant and pretty much spent the whole time putting lotion on my back. She used no pressure and really had no idea what she was doing. She spent 10 mins trying to massage my scalp, but it did not feel good and just caused my hair to be a mess. It was also much shorter than 60 minutes. My husband said his experience was a little better. $1400 pesos for this experience was a rip off. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

We went here a couple days ago and it was great. Husband had the relaxing massage and I had the deep tissue. My lady was really strong and got into all the sore places. Massages were about $60 us for 90 minutes. We went back again another night, different two masseurs and it was very disappointing. I was supposed to have deep tissue and it was not deep tissue at all (more like a relaxing massage) - couldn't communicate well due to language barriers. Husband thought his massage was ok but again could not communicate his needs, or the masseuse just did not listen to him when he asked her to work on his neck. read more

This was a nice little spa. On a rainy day in puerto Vallarta my boyfriend and I decided to get a couples massage. It was pretty cheap, $82 USD total, or $1476 pesos. It was very relaxing, my masseuse went very deep and hard, where as my boyfriends masseuse went gentle. They had us in a dim lit room together with relaxing music playing. My boyfriend and I came here on a whim when our reservations for another massage establishments fell through. Chaac spa was able to accommodate us easily as a walk in. I don't necessarily agree that the spa was as clean as my spa experiences back in the states. It was just decently clean. The lobby couches looked like they needed a good steam clean and when we arrived in the couple's massage room I noticed the sheets covering the massage table had yellow stains. I overlooked that because it was just one spot. However after my massage was done I noticed the sheet they used to cover me also looked dirty like when you rub car grease off on a white towel. Gross! As for the massage, it was just an okay Swedish massage. They booked us in the couple's room without notifying us and I was expecting us to go be in separate rooms, not a big deal but it would have been nice to know before hand. Lastly, the price was $70 for our couples massage. however we paid in pesos and they didn't specify if the total amount was for the both of us or an individual price. So we both ended up paying double the amount we were suppose to pay! We left and walked back to our hotel room and kept thinking we just paid $140 for a massage, which is really expensive for Mexico.. it just didn't sit right with me so we walked back and asked about the pricing and she said it was only $35 usd. So we notified them we over paid and she just said they thought it was the tip?! Luckily they gave us the extra $70 back and we did leave some of that for tip.. but that's just crazy they didn't communicate more clearly to us, or clarified with us that we were paying them more than expected to make sure we knew. And my boyfriend is fluent in Spanish so it's not like they're should have been an issue with language barrier to clarify. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially since there are other spas nearby, which I had a much better clean & honest spa experience! read more

This was formerly the Pacifca Grand Spa that I patronized several years ago. I decided to see if this new spa would be as pleasing as my prior experience at Pacifica and it was for the most part. The building inside is still clean and tranquil. We were warmly greeted by the staff and given bottles of water. We were walk-in's so we had to wait about 30 minutes as they were busy. Just sitting in the lobby was making me relaxed. My mom and I shared a massage room, which was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The massage itself was very nice and relaxing and the price was extremely reasonable - about $36 USD for a 60 minute massage. The only negative, and it really isn't a big deal, is that I prefer a deep tissue massage and what I had was more of a Swedish. I should have initially requested a deeper massage. Additionally, the music that was playing throughout our session was festive, but definitely not tranquil which kind of hindered the whole massage experience. The spa is nicely situated across from the Marina and about a 5 minute walk from the Mayan Palace, which is where I stayed. I would definitely go back if I vacation in PV again - I'll just request a deep tissue massage and tranquil music next time. read more
