We get takeout about once a week. It's always good. The service is quick. What more can you ask for?

We're regular customers, last time in was May before tonight. I've always loved their takeout food, it wasn't up to par today. Food lacked flavor and just wasn't as good as usual. Vegetables didn't seem as plentiful or fresh, baby corn was an odd color, now enforcing charge for duck sauce and hot mustard and then add the 3% credit card fee. Prices have almost doubled since we started getting their takeout food, no dining in. Time to look for a new shore Chinese restaurant. read more

I just had chicken Lo Mein from this restaurant and it was spectacular!!! I know that's not a flagship dish, but I am telling you that it was delicious. I ate the whole pint, basically inhaled it. It was just so good!!!! Holy moley ...so great to have something exceeding expectations. Anyway. I will be trying more of their food soon. read more

Man, I don't want to do this but..... this used to be my go to place for Chinese food. I loved this place. The inconsistencies are not minor enough for me to ignore. I do not know what has happened in the past couple of years. The prices have gone up if not doubled and the quality of the food just isn't there anymore. This hurts my heart because this place has held a strong place in my heart for years and the new place down the road just isn't my flavor. Now I am just stuck with an unfulfilled craving. I would be more than happy to pay the price if the food was the same. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until I go back up north or home to Pennsylvania (Yes, I said Pennsylvania) to satisfy the cravings of some good old Chinese food. read more

A good menu with what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. I've always ordered out for either delivery or a short walk from my house. Food wise, I've never been disappointed. I often get the dragon and phoenix. Unlike other places, they don't shrimp on the shrimp portion. Last time I got garlic shrimp and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shrimp. One caveat: if you order out, don't use their website when using a card. A charge showed on my account but the order failed to go through. The guy at the place said it would come off and it did, but they may have a glitch in their system. Call in an order and pay when you pick up or have delivered. read more

Chinese food is solid. Think about what it takes to have solid restaurant that can sustain a restaurant during peak summer months (and a pandemic) and dry off season times. This please is good. They also have a Thai menu that is amazing. Try the pad Thai. read more

I ordered the Thai Basil Chicken. There was nothing remotely Thai about it. Not Thai spice paste used and literally about 1/2 a teaspoon of chiffonade basil. For the seasonings they used black bean paste, vinegar and blackpepper and added a smattering of red pepper flake. All this with a retarded amount of green bell pepper(!) and sliced onions and some carrot slivers. That excrement was what they call "Thai" food. No galangal, no, ginger, no garlic, no red pepper paste, no fish sause or belacan , no shallot, no nothing. No lime. And certainly no basil taste or flavor. I feel ripped off. Then again, I should have known better. Their food was garbage 26 years ago and it's still crap. Avoid. Oh, and the quart of iced tea I ordered wasn't even real tea...it was instant powder junk. Seriously, if you can't even make freekin' fresh tea...just stop. read more

The food here is fine. Nothing special, but honestly you can get the same things from other places for way cheaper. I literally called to place an order for pick up and the lady charged me $18.14 for 3 Items. When I called again to ask about the price, they bumped it up to $19.90. I then ask the girl to give me the price of each item. I add it all up and it gave me a total of 12.00. I told her and she ask me how much I wanna pay? I'm not being cheap but seriously, don't over charge people. End of the story, if you do call for pick up or delivery. Just make sure to add everything up yourself. Finally. Fffffiiiiinnnnnaaaalllllyyyyy! Really good Chinese on the island! PuPu Platter, General Tso, Fried Rice, Tofu with vegetables, Shrimp & Chicken Combo, Spare Ribs, Steamed Dumpling, Shrimp Toast, Pepper Steak, Chicken with Broccoli. Not quality Chinese food at all. Chicken broccoli was so salty and swimming in oil, broccoli was almost yellow and not fresh. The egg rolls were small, thin as my index finger. The dumplings were also small and the inside meat has no taste, had to use all the sauce they give you to eat the dumplings. The general tsui chicken was small pieces of chicken with a lot of breading. When you pick up the food, it is dirty inside, like a mildew wet dog smell. Not a good experience, there is now a much better Chinese food option in Ventnor. read more

We have been eating here once a week for the past few months and have enjoyed every dish we ordered. I usually get the pad Thai even though it's a Chinese restaurant and Thai isn't their specialty, but I think it's the best on the island! I usually prefer Chinese food with higher quality white meat general chicken.. not much of a fan of the dark meat with a ton of filler chicken.. vegetable lo Maine was pretty good, but a hair was found on the broccoli.. I'm not one to freak out and return something for a hair, just thought I should mention.. wonton soup was decent, nice tang to the broth, but 2 out of the four wontons in the soup tasted older and a little off.. the portions were plentiful for a lunch special, but I'd choose quality over quantity any day.. read more

The place get a 4 star for their beef chow foon with generous portion of meat but their crab Rangoon is nothing to write about and their hot and sour soup is decent but better then other Chinese in the area. Another place I tried after reading a not so great review.... and too my delight, it was out of this world. I'm not going to sit here and say I'm a Chinese food expert, especially since I always get the same Chicken and Broccoli, as I'm afraid to try anything else.. I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived at my door 15 minutes sooner than the time quoted over the phone. Tonight for some reason, I grew a set and decided to try something I've never had. I ordered the roast pork lo mein, with white rice instead of the fried rice it comes with. my fiancee had the white meat chicken with garlic sauce, we ordered a side of shrimp spring rolls and cheese fried wonton. The food was neatly packed in resealable plastic ware, when taking the lids off the aroma of the food hit us right in the face. It was prepared beautifully, I was instantly raving when I saw the colors, and inhaled the intoxicating smells of what I was about to consume. First bite is always the tall-tell sign of a good experience or a bad one. BAM! Right off the bat, the food was extremely flavorful... the vegetables were fresh and crisp, the rice was of a perfectly moist consistency, the shrimp spring roll was packed full of shrimpy goodness. (LOL), and too much our delight, the cheese fried wonton had CRAB MEAT in them!!! We were originally hoping to get crab rangoons, but did not see them on the menu!! -- So happy they made it into our bag!! Phone service was pleasant, and delivery driver was a doll!! Left him a hefty tip just because (1) He was punctual with his arrival, and he was (2) Pleasant with a friendly smile and personable canter. Will definitely be our #1 go to spot when we get the Chinese hankering.. ;) (and we aren't rolly-polly obese americans! gotta love it!) Try this place for yourself!!! I've been ordering here for a few years now, This is an Americanized Chinese place, they offer delivery and take out, I don't think dining in is emphasized, due to there being only one table inside the restaurant. About the food, It's not going to be anything you haven't had before, It can be sweet and sugary, it can be fried and greasy at times, but it's good, they never have an off day where I've had to bring something back due to it being inedible. My usual items are fried cheese wontons, vegetable fried rice, broccoli in garlic sauce, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken and honey spare rib tips. I can say with absolute certainty that these items are amazing although rarely they are too greasy or too sweet . I try to stay away from the orange chicken, The sauce is always extremely dark as opposed to say PF Changs which is light in color. The flavor is okay, but the dark sauce freaks me out. Little neighborhood store front with very good Chinese food. Fresh ingredients cooked quickly so they still have color and crispiness. My favorites are cold sesame noodles and kung po shrimp with tofu. The egg rolls and other appetizers are just meh so skip them. Ordered a few days ago and it was a complete nightmare. The delivery driver could not find our address and called multiple times to ask for the address, when he still for some reason couldnt find it, the delivery driver cursed me out on the phone. I was shocked, and I will FOR SURE not be ordering from here again. Not to mention, when the food did get delivered, it was cold and a very small portion. read more
