I ordered so often they knew my address and would add a complimentary 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke. And they always remembered Diet. Nice people. For a month or so, I'd call and get a message that they were on vacation. I assumed perhaps they went to visit home and shut down for a month or so - a trip thousands of miles to the far east to visit family wouldn't normally be short. But now I don't get the message anymore and someone noted that they walked by the store and it was vacant? Can this be true? After 25 or more years it's all gone? If it is can someone recommend a similar place nearby? Just your regular non fancy takeout is what we love. Nothing fancy.

I decided to call them and ask for a refund, or for a replacement meal at a later date. Very clearly, these are business owners who aren't even comfortable owning up to a mistake. I was asked to drive back, in the snow, from two towns over to pick up extra sauce. No. Replace the meal or refund it. Period. I've been eating here for over a decade. Just replace the meal or refund it. I was then told there was nothing wrong with the food and hung up on. When I called back I was hung up on again. The third time, I told them that I'd dispute the charge on my credit card, and write a yelp review. I was asked to please not do that. When I asked her AGAIN to refund the money and I'll do neither of those things. She hung up AGAIN. When I called back AGAIN. She told me she was busy, and hung up again. So here I am, with flavorless chicken and vegetables. Writing a review, disputing the credit card charge. It's bad business to lose a regular customer for $12.50...when I would have gladly taken a replacement meal later. Stupid. That's just down right stupid.

Food has gone way downhill. Not honest, check your receipt if paying with a credit card. They tell you one amount is the total and then charge your credit card a convenience fee. Very rude when questioned. read more

It means that in theory you better be churning out some decent stuff less you make yourself into a total hyperbolic cliché. I found out about BFIT accidentally while waiting for the elevator at our hotel when on the table next to the newspapers was a stack of menus for BFIT. Sweet and sour chicken, dumplings, crab rangoon, general tso and something else I forget about. Two issues right off the bat. Of course how would you know that when you're doing take out and the stapled closed brown bag of food is inside the tied off outer plastic bag and both are filled to the point of exploding. The main issue was that everything was really, really greasy/oily. All of the food and the inner part of the containers all left a sheen on your fingers when you touched them. Yick! The meat quality seemed decent and the flavor (Burp! - another grease release a month later) was I guess alright but the texture was really miserable. Nice enough people and it was edible but man this BFIT location indeed deserves its two star Yelp aggregate.
