Dr. Schiffel performed a comprehensive exam that included images and X-rays. With those images and x-rays, she took time to clearly show and explain what was going on with my teeth, pointing out cracks and stress points in two back molars explaining the ongoing risks with those teeth. Already having multiple crowns, I wasn't thrilled about getting two more crowns but with Dr. Schiffel's clear explanation and thoughtful approach, I was totally confident about moving forward. Dr. Schiffel and her assistant, Matty, were excellent throughout the process. They explained each step before doing anything, making sure that I was informed and comfortable for each step through the process; from tooth preparation to impressions and temporary crowns; the entire process was a smooth, stress-free experience. My follow-up appointment to install the new crowns was the best crown placement I've ever experienced. Dr. Schiffel seated both crowns before I knew they were done and quickly fine-tuned each tooth to make sure that everything was comfortable and perfectly aligned. Everything was all done with no pain during or after the appointment. I truly appreciate the professionalism, communication, and level of care provided by the Rose Dental team. Only drawback is that you need to book end of year appointments several months in advance. They fill up, like most dentists, at the end of the year. Further, we shouldn't be surprise when healthcare providers admit mistakes and take responsibility. But so few do that it comes as shock. He ultimately stated that he would not "deal" with me because I was not "listening" to him and that another scheduler would be in touch. This entire experience, from the last-minute cancellation to the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the scheduling staff, is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, the extensive delay in returning my call, and the discourteous way I was treated have caused me to question the quality of care provided by your practice. I believe these issues need to be addressed promptly to prevent similar experiences for other patients.

I asked if I could be processed/allowed back as private pay, (I was in pain and had waited a month) giving me more time to continue to upload while in the dentist chair. They said I would have to pay then, and no refund would be considered once insurance verified. They had to prove insurance before they could allow me back. I showed them the phone with my active id card download buffering. I was then told it had taken too long, and I would need to reschedule for an appointment over a week later. When advancing this with the "office manager" she proceeded to tell me I knew about the appointment, and knew I would have to have it, and I should have called them ahead of time to make sure they had what they needed from me. They allegedly called me yesterday and today and left a VM, (no evidence on call log/VM) I asked again if they would please reconsider and allow me to see the dentist and get the card, or I would self-pay without question. She informed me, " she would not go back and forth with me". Ok good. I took my business down to Aspen Dental, where I was treated with some dignity and respect, they allowed me to show my digital card and saw me within an hour.
