My friends and I decided to stop at Bouquet Restaurt at Ponte Vinyards last Saturday for their brunch. We were looking for a spot where we could get a reservation and a full meal rather than simply cheese plates or sandwiches. On weekends, they forgo their typical menu for a buffet brunch for $36 dollars per person. When we arrived, we were seated outside per our request. Despite the Temecula heat, we were pretty comfortable due to adequate shading. The patio wasn't crowded, as possibly we came after the main brunch crowd, since our reservation was at 1PM. There was a lovely cover artist singing and playing music while we were there. Only a few tables were filled. For drinks, my friends chose the Bloody Mary bar. They enjoyed their drinks, as the bar had a nice selection. I chose the bottomless mimosas, as it was worth it if I even had two. I ended up having three, one raspberry, one guava, and a traditional orange. The buffet, though not huge, was very nice and still rather large, and very reasonable for only $36. The fruit was fresh and delicious, and they had a lovely spread with smoked salmon and lots of toppings for the bagels. I chose the made-to-order omelette station and had a full veggie omelette with lots of mushrooms. I also really enjoyed the sopes, something I don't often find these days. They were great, with slightly crispy bottoms and delicate toppings. The food was so good, I would have gone back for seconds or dessert pastries, but one can only eat so much. All in all, I highly recommend Boquet Restaurant for the brunch buffet, and some refreshing drinks on the relaxing patio. read more

Beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. Zach was our server, he had wonderful energy and was great. There was another server assisting him, he looked like a UFC fighter, I wish I knew his name, he was great too and attentive. Food was pretty good. Their complimentary muffins are delicious. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. It was not even that busy. When we checked in 20 minutes early, they said they were unable to seat us early so we sat outside and waited. We stared at our empty future table, and they ended up texting us and we got seated 4 minutes early at the table we saw was empty the whole time. That was weird. We came here as a family for a relax valentine's day weekend and we received just that. We had multiple great experiences but we had chris as a server and he was very attentive. He made sure we had what we needed prior to even asking, he was very polite and gave multiple recommendations! The ambience was beautiful. Excellent service with good wines and food. Last minute dinner plans for us. We opted to sit outside because why wouldn't we want to sit outside in the nice weather with a beautiful view of the vineyard? The complimentary thyme fluffy (popover like) bread was delicious. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie appetizer. It was a nice selection of 3 meats, 3 cheeses, olives, pickles, mustard, honey, and crackers. The food menu was very limited with only 9 dishes to choose from. $60 steak, $60 Chilean sea bass, $30 chicken picatta, $38 beef ragu with pappardelle. I chose the beef ragu and while portions were a nice size, the ragu was a bit plain. We hadn't realized this when we picked the restaurant as a dear friend in our party has a very restrictive diet for health reasons. The wonderful waiter noted all the food she couldn't eat and delivered a delicious sauteed vegetable dish for her with a lovely side of what looked like a potato cake. read more

My daughter and I went back for breakfast after 8 years, and it was not nearly as delish as before. The coffee was balanced, fresh and flavorful and the pear and pistachio pancakes were also delicious. We got an order of those to share. However, we both ordered the carne asada eggs Benedict and it was not at all satisfying. The problem was the carne asada. The meat was not top quality, so it was stringy and it made it difficult to cut over the English muffin. I specifically ordered my eggs medium well, but they served them runny. Additionally, our waiter took forever to check us, so we had no water or coffee for well over 30 minutes. In conclusion, the $92.00 dollar check was not justified at all! So disappointed! read more

Came here for Brunch as it was one of the few places open for brunch during the week. We had a the pleasure of sitting outside which has a nice view of the fountain and vines. They had complimentary carrot muffins upon being seated which were truly delicious and just the right way to start brunch! This place is one of the few places that actually carriers alternative milk options such as oat, almond, etc. The food and drinks were delicious, truly! I also appreciated how kind and easy it was for them to make food substitutions/ accommodations due to dietary restrictions in my group. Finally, I would like to give a special shout out to our server Haley who truly made this experience a 10/10! My cousins and I were staying at the hotel and decided to have breakfast on the property and not drive to someplace else early in the morning. What a mistake. The service was bad, the food was so so. As soon as we walked in the girls at the front desk were not very nice, they had a slight bit of an attitude and were giving us weird looks. (Girls - I know you just got out of high school, but we didn't - lose the attitude). Than our order came out and they forgot half our food. Our server took our order and literally never came out again. I had to waive down someone else's server just so someone would notice. Than we tried it and the food was terrible, which is such a shame because the dining patio is so beautiful. They definitely need a new chef. At that point we didn't care and just wanted to eat. The manager was very nice and offered us free ice cream, although our server came and apologized but only knew because he told her. She again disappeared the whole time and only came back for the check. All in all it was terrible. I won't even be choosing to stay there because I don't want to spend money to stay overnight at a winery is the food is horrible and the service is even worse. Honestly there are so many beautiful wineries in the area, I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. read more

This place just made me angry though food is good I hate when you walk into a restaurant at the exact time they are opening (8:00 am, which is way too late for a hotel breakfast restaurant) and then immediately ask if you have a reservation even though completely empty. Several mornings they did this, we said no but we are staying here at the hotel and they acted like it was a complete inconvenience. They did find us a table in the empty restaurant. Food was good but overpriced for breakfast. Service was slow each day. Then to top it off, during our entire meal, the restaurant that was so inconvenienced by us not having a reservation was never more than about 1/5th full. Plenty of tables and plenty of servers. They need to get an attitude adjustment and better serve their hotel customers with better hours and better service. read more

We went for brunch at the Bouquet restaurant when our friend was visiting from Europe. The ambiance of this place is nice, the outdoor area has a large pond and a great view in general. Our waiter was Katy and she was very accommodating and great. For cocktails, I had their expresso martini and it was good. We also had a few glasses of the white Pinot Noir which we really enjoyed. Now to the things that need a little work. It seems like the food quality of the place is just low. The charcuterie board does not feature any speciality items, the cheese was very basic and you can get it from any standard grocery store. The burger bun was also the cheapest brioche bread you can find in the store. The burger overall lacked quite a bit of taste. The beets burrata is a beautiful presentation but also lacked taste, sadly, since I am quite a beets gourmet. I would return to this restaurant but only to try the rest of their cocktails and wine. read more

I recently dined at Bouquet Restaurant at Ponte Vineyard Inn on Sunday 09/22/24 for my sisters baby shower brunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service by " Sam" was notably slow, and our server seemed inattentive, frequently forgetting our drink orders and taking too long to check on us. It took almost 25 mins before we were even acknowledged. 2 rounds of cocktails, appetizers, every course ordered all remained dirty on our table the entire 2 hours we were there. No one ever cared to clear our table! A staff member approached our table and I kindly asked who they are and she said Katy I said do you know where our server is we haven't seen her in 20 mins? Katy responds oh she's on break . I said we were never informed she was leaving on break. We have been ignored our table is a mess, our cocktails were nasty and tasteless nothing like the pictures of how our items should have been received. Additionally, when we raised our concerns with the manager, their response was dismissive, which only added to our frustration. No apologies. The manager walked away not even clearing any plates or dirty dishes that we complained about, never sent any staff over to clear our table. For a fine dining establishment, I expected a higher level of service and professionalism. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards I had hoped for in such a beautiful setting and never return. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more satisfying dining experience four diamond fine dining experience. Claudio Ponte would be embarrassed! On top of service the neglect of cleanliness was disgusting.The restaurant had no paper towels and only one restroom had toilet paper. The restaurant was dirty and unattended to. I never leave negative reviews but this needs to get noticed because it is unacceptable for an establishment as well known to have gone down hill this bad. read more

Ate here three separate mornings. First morning was outside and it wasn't pleasant because of the presence of flies. They also have new servers who were trying to accommodate us and were extremely apologetic about the flies. The next two mornings were inside and definitely much better because there were no flies and they had a big fan that blew air around. The servers were half accommodating and half unbending (in terms of accommodating parties that increase in numbers from an original reservation). It just depends who you get. On the food, the three little muffins served on your table are delicious. Don't forget to eat it. Breakfast is breakfast anywhere. read more

Our party of 5 had breakfast here after a wonderful stay on the property. The outdoor patio was conveniently outside of our room and the view was calming and serene. We asked for outdoor seating under the shaded canopy but the sun was shining onto our table. Our server kindly rolled the shade down as the sun was very hot this morning and they eventually turned on the misters as the day got hotter. Everything we ordered was good, but my Greek yogurt was especially yummy. I'm not sure if there was orange zest or something mixed in with it, but it was tangy and sweet with every bite. I wish I had the recipe. I ordered the turkey burger lettuce wrapped without the brioche bun and enjoyed it. Service was friendly and kept our water glasses refilled. We've been to the Bouquet Restaurant's sister establishment, The Restaurant at Ponte, and we love it! Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, we couldn't get reservations for today, Saturday. We were able to get reservations for 1 pm at the Bouquet. It's still the same good food. There were four of us. Two of us had the Turkey Club, one had the burger, and one had the salad with salmon. The atmosphere is not as nice, but the outdoor seating does look out on the Vineyard. Very nice. Unfortunately, the service was very lacking. Chris, who's nametag said "Lead Server", took care of us. He promptly took our drink order, but the drinks took a while to come out. He then took our food order. We ordered the Charcuterie appetizer. Our entrees came out without ever getting the appetizer, so we cancelled it, though Chris brought it out after we had cancelled it and started on our meal. The food took quite a while to come out. Then my wife's salad did not come with the salmon so they took it back. The rest of us were 3/4 of the way through our meal before her entree came back. I had to ask for more water. Chris disappeared for a while but we were finally able to pay our bill. To Chris' credit, he didn't charge my wife for her salmon. Still very poor service for a not inexpensive restaurant. One other thing is that there was live music outside and it was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. Since our guests were from out of the country and we hadn't seen them in a few years, this was also disappointing. From now on, we'll stick with The Restaurant at Ponte. Way better. read more

My husband and I headed to Bouquet (which is located at the Ponte Vineyard Inn - not the Ponte Winery) on a triple date with some friends who were just passing through town. We were stoked to see delicious appetizers like a soft cheese board, complete with freshly baked bread and fresh fruit, and hummus with purple, orange and yellow carrots on the menu. After all, brunch should be about way more than traditional breakfast foods! And normally, I order off the more brunch-y lunch menu when out at brunch, since I'm not a big fan of breakfast foods. But Bouquet has a make-your-own omelette section. And when I saw asparagus on the menu, I just had to make my own omelette! There's just nothing like an omelette with asparagus (and onions and cheddar cheese). Typically breakfast places treat potatoes as a greasy one-pan afterthought, which is really a shame. But not Bouquet. These sliced potatoes were to die for. We left so fat and happy and itching to return! read more

Went here for breakfast black Friday. Totally empty. Which was great. Had a mimosa and split the soup. My friend and I shared the soup and it was very light and fluffy. The eggs Benedict was fresh and the hashbrowns were tasty. Spent 103 in total for the 2 of us. The drinks were way overpriced but in total it was worth it for the ambiance. We wanted to eat at the Ponte Restaurant but it was booked. They recommended the Bouquet at the Ponte Inn. That was our first mistake. Other than the live music the atmosphere was uninspiring. All of our dishes were just average. Boring French toast bites. Fruit that tasted onions, bland burger, over cooked poached eggs and under seasoned hash browns. Our server was nice but not attentive. We had a delicious dinner at Bouquet for anniversary. My wife had the ceased salad and I had the lentil soup to start. Both were good. The lentils we tender but no mushy and the Caesar salad came with the dressing on the side. I thought hat was great because you can over / under dress a salad very easily and it it so subjective. We shared the Chilean sea bass entree. Had there been a veggie included an a slightly larger portion it would be a 5 star review but the portion to $$$ ratio was a bit on the skimpy side. Also the risotto was a bit undercook so it was gritty in some areas. Also could use 1 or two more entry options. Overall, really good flavors great service and nice presentation. read more
