So my wife and I were in the mood for Boba today. On our way to our destination we found this place in a plaza. Parking... was a challenge. There is a small parking lot, fit for compact cars only. As soon as I entered the establishment the first thing that caught my eye was the vibrant colors. The hilarious pictures that told the "Chala Bala" story. The lounge chairs, the whole ambiance was screaming: "Relax Bro". The Boba... definitely tasted premium. They did not skimp out on the powder. The boba itself was cooked well. I have had many a boba served undercooked with a hard center, not here! I had the Taro Boba, wife had Thai Tea boba. We got a Crepe and Espresso to go. Their extra large Boba lasted me about 2 hours, it is a very generous size cup for under $9. But I confess the highlight for me was the Espresso, while I didn't ask for anything on it, it came to me already sweet. I'm not sure if maybe that's how they make it or if it was done by error, but it was such a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely coming back for the Espresso. Also the chairs are dangerous in the sense that two of the leather lounge chairs are so comfortable, that you just want to sink and sleep. I had a great time. I hope next time I come there's parking.

Cute little boba shop, also has crepes and yummies. Good service, tasty beverages and a few Instagramable features for social media.

Didn't expect my boba to be THIS big. Literally a bucket. Tasted okay, but I would say it was the full 100% of sweetness instead of 75% I asked for.

In the area and behold, Chala Boba! A piggy mascot and cute pink walls, pink shimmers, and pink neon lights. I came due to the consistent positive reviews for the small boba shop and thought to try it out. I was not disappointed! The menu options were amusing and palatable to any one looking for a smoothie, slush, tea, and even dessert foods like mini pancakes, toast, and so much more. The workers were very nice and walked my boba over at the seating area which I was not expecting. I would come again to get my boba fix the next time I'm in the area! *I ordered the XL Taro Smoothie w/ boba * I oddly requested frozen mango to be puréed for my dog and it was granted. A little treat after our 99 degree walk. *They have a boba stamp card if you request one. Buy 10 and get your next free!

I always enjoy a great boba spot. For starters they have more than a few options to satisfy your boba craving. Their Thai milk tea boba is delicious as it taste and authentic flavor will satisfy any craving. Their brown sugar boba has a sweetness and texture that you must taste and enjoy. They have other options as well but these are my usuals. They also have fruit bowls if you want to have a boba and a bow for a quick lunch, brunch or snack. Service is great as the staff is always helpful. Parking is tight as it's not a big lot and there are a few other businesses in the section. If you are unable to squeeze into one of their available spots try Sherman way or another adjacent street.

Boba anyone? Seems like there is a boba shop popping up on every corner lately...the new yummy alternative to Starbucks. This particular shop is located on the North East corner of Sherman Way & Woodley Ave just across from Vallarta Market. The inside is very "pink," which I happen to love. They sell merch and also have food here. Their Boba menu is extensive which can cause some people like myself to take a few extra minutes to order...once you order they make your drinks quickly. Always tastes good and very filling. *They offer different degrees of sweetness and boba. *Small parking lot off of Sherman Way.

I wrote a review before but it's been a while I love the milk tea and the Thai tea it's authentic tasting. But I don't like that the cup is so fat it doesn't fit in my car I can't come back for that reason I'm always on the go This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 5 for the flavor though but you will have to drink it there .....

It was going to be my first time trying this place, online it stated it opened at 12 and on their door as well. I waited for 15 minutes and no one ever showed up. Other customers tried coming as well but once again the doors stayed locked. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely will not try coming here again.

Best. Boba. Ever. I refuse to go anywhere else. Even the food is delicious. We go enough that they know our order. 99% of the time it doesn't make it home, that's how bomb it is. Love you guys

Was craving mini pancakes and came across this spot on yelp and noticed they also sold sticky mango rice so we headed over. I got both mini pancakes and the mango sticky rice and my boyfriend got the crepe. It was a bit of a wait but understandable as it was made to order and there was only one person behind the counter which she was super nice. The spot is definitely really cute and I'm surprised i hadn't been here before but happy to know about it now. The pancakes were really good I got them with strawberries and whipped cream then added Nutella when I got home lol I was pretty full after so I decided to save the mango rice. Sad to say I wasn't actually able to enjoy it I believe it got hard after getting cold. I'll just have to stop by another day to try again. Overall really cute establishment, with a lot of menu options.

This is it! The Boba spot I have dubbed the best in the valley. I came across Chala during a Yelp event, and I am so happy I was turned on to this place. It checks all the boxes! Great service Delicious Boba Delicious Milk Tea (tastes more than just milk which is a major boba place offense, and happens quite often) They let you choose your sweetness level from regular all the way down to no sugar. I LOVE that. 2 sizes, large & Extra Large ($4.50 & $5.50) Brown Sugar Milk Tea & Taro Milk Teas are my favorite. They give you such a generous amount of boba that you get a great boba ball fix with every sip. If I need a sweet fix, this is where I come. I drive 20mins for Chala so that definetly says alot, especially with these gas prices lol. They also offer Delicious Crepes and mini pancakes! Cute interior with plants and neon signs, tucked into a veryyyy unassuming Plaza. Next door to a 711, minimal parking in a tight lot but don't let that keep you away from Chala Boba. 10/10 I have found my Boba go to spot

However, after eating dinner tonight, we saw that the line for this place was lighter than usual, so we took the opportunity to try it out! I vaguely remember visiting Millet Crepe probably 15 years ago, and I believe I ordered the creme brulee, which was their bestseller (still is). I remember many years back thinking it was good, but I was either too full or I'm just not too crazy about creme brulee in general, so I didn't want to order that again this time. I suspect a lot of people come here for the first time, see that the bestseller is the creme brulee, order that one, and then say they're gonna try another flavor the next time and then don't come back until much later when they see the line isn't as long lol. That wasn't gonna be me this time around!! There were only about....idk 5 people in front of us during the crepe line wait. We waited about 10-15 minutes total. By the time we ordered, the line was a loooot longer. I think people were getting out of dinner and were thinking the same thing - that they wanted dessert. This visit, I ordered the matcha tiramisu with matcha ice cream. Hubby ordered the mango custard with vanilla ice cream. We scarfed up both cone shaped crepes in less than 5 minutes - and they were nice, light, and the perfect ending to Sunday chill dinner night out. I tried my husband's crepe, and I think I like the custard flavor more than the tiramisu flavor (which was more cream like). Overall, solid spot when the wait isn't long.

While we were looking at the menu outside, there was an employee standing by the entrance, but we were never greeted or informed that there was a waitlist for dine-in seating. Since we've always ordered at the register and then found a table after, we did the same thing as usual. While I was placing our order, my sister sat at an empty table and was told to leave because there was an hour waitlist. We were genuinely confused b/c we had no idea there was a waitlist, and of course we immediately apologized & left the table. We felt terrible and offered to switch our order to takeout to avoid any inconveniences, the employee remained dismissive and rude throughout our interaction. I'm not sure if she thought we did it on purpose, but she took off with an attitude. We understand it's busy, it could be frustrating and stressful, but that interaction wasn't necessary, it was a clear misunderstanding and we asked switched to take out to avoid issues or taking someone else's spot. We also noticed other customers making the same mistake, which made it seem like the seating process wasn't clearly communicated. A simple greeting or letting customers know there was a waitlist before ordering would have completely avoided the misunderstanding instead being dismissive. I also don't recall seeing "please wait to be seated" sign or I'm not sure if we missed it ? Despite this experience, we still plan on coming back b/c we truly enjoy the food and the cafe itself. They do have great service, they did not give us any issues changing the order to take out. They understood it was a misunderstanding of the seating. It could have just been a bad day for that specific employee that was rude , but we just hope there can be better communication for customers in the future.

The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. We ended up ordering the fondue for the app (24.00) which comes with bite size pieces of bread and diced apples. It was ok, a little too runny and had an interesting hint of beer flavor. Next up we both ordered the brie & prosciutto sandwich which came with a side of au gratin and greens. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were cold. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)!
