In the area and behold, Chala Boba! A piggy mascot and cute pink walls, pink shimmers, and pink neon lights. I came due to the consistent positive reviews for the small boba shop and thought to try it out. I was not disappointed! The menu options were amusing and palatable to any one looking for a smoothie, slush, tea, and even dessert foods like mini pancakes, toast, and so much more. The workers were very nice and walked my boba over at the seating area which I was not expecting. I would come again to get my boba fix the next time I'm in the area! *I ordered the XL Taro Smoothie w/ boba * I oddly requested frozen mango to be puréed for my dog and it was granted. A little treat after our 99 degree walk. *They have a boba stamp card if you request one. Buy 10 and get your next free!

I always enjoy a great boba spot. For starters they have more than a few options to satisfy your boba craving. Their Thai milk tea boba is delicious as it taste and authentic flavor will satisfy any craving. Their brown sugar boba has a sweetness and texture that you must taste and enjoy. They have other options as well but these are my usuals. They also have fruit bowls if you want to have a boba and a bow for a quick lunch, brunch or snack. Service is great as the staff is always helpful. Parking is tight as it's not a big lot and there are a few other businesses in the section. If you are unable to squeeze into one of their available spots try Sherman way or another adjacent street.

Boba anyone? Seems like there is a boba shop popping up on every corner lately...the new yummy alternative to Starbucks. This particular shop is located on the North East corner of Sherman Way & Woodley Ave just across from Vallarta Market. The inside is very "pink," which I happen to love. They sell merch and also have food here. Their Boba menu is extensive which can cause some people like myself to take a few extra minutes to order...once you order they make your drinks quickly. Always tastes good and very filling. *They offer different degrees of sweetness and boba. *Small parking lot off of Sherman Way.

I wrote a review before but it's been a while I love the milk tea and the Thai tea it's authentic tasting. But I don't like that the cup is so fat it doesn't fit in my car I can't come back for that reason I'm always on the go This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 5 for the flavor though but you will have to drink it there .....

It was going to be my first time trying this place, online it stated it opened at 12 and on their door as well. I waited for 15 minutes and no one ever showed up. Other customers tried coming as well but once again the doors stayed locked. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely will not try coming here again.

Was craving mini pancakes and came across this spot on yelp and noticed they also sold sticky mango rice so we headed over. I got both mini pancakes and the mango sticky rice and my boyfriend got the crepe. It was a bit of a wait but understandable as it was made to order and there was only one person behind the counter which she was super nice. The spot is definitely really cute and I'm surprised i hadn't been here before but happy to know about it now. The pancakes were really good I got them with strawberries and whipped cream then added Nutella when I got home lol I was pretty full after so I decided to save the mango rice. Sad to say I wasn't actually able to enjoy it I believe it got hard after getting cold. I'll just have to stop by another day to try again. Overall really cute establishment, with a lot of menu options.

Nice place, tasty food and drinks, and good service. While you're waiting you can play a claw machine filled with cute toys, decorative art and fun music. Definitely go check this place out.

Tasty boba in a quaint shop! We had a heavy dinner and want to get a treat. We haven't been to Chala before so wanted to try it! They have crepes and other sweets like mango sticky rice, but we just wanted boba tea. Same deal, select the flavor, add topping and choose your ice and sweetness. The shop is pretty well decorated we enjoyed just looking around the place. Drinks were good too and hit the spot. Parking can be a challenge. We missed the entrance the first time and needed to make a U turn. Same parking complex with some other business and at night some people loitering outside the liquor store.

This is it! The Boba spot I have dubbed the best in the valley. I came across Chala during a Yelp event, and I am so happy I was turned on to this place. It checks all the boxes! Great service Delicious Boba Delicious Milk Tea (tastes more than just milk which is a major boba place offense, and happens quite often) They let you choose your sweetness level from regular all the way down to no sugar. I LOVE that. 2 sizes, large & Extra Large ($4.50 & $5.50) Brown Sugar Milk Tea & Taro Milk Teas are my favorite. They give you such a generous amount of boba that you get a great boba ball fix with every sip. If I need a sweet fix, this is where I come. I drive 20mins for Chala so that definetly says alot, especially with these gas prices lol. They also offer Delicious Crepes and mini pancakes! Cute interior with plants and neon signs, tucked into a veryyyy unassuming Plaza. Next door to a 711, minimal parking in a tight lot but don't let that keep you away from Chala Boba. 10/10 I have found my Boba go to spot

Out of three of these drink, I enjoyed Thai tea the most 9 out of a 10 . Pink milk tea 2 out of 10 rating, it tastes like bubble gum medicine don't recommend. Coffee milk tea 6 out of 10. Overall the service was great, I don't know if I would come here again. read more

Chala Boba is one of those hidden gems in the valley. From the outside, it doesn't look like much and to be honest, the surrounding neighborhood is not the greatest, but inside, this place is like a pink explosion filled with boba and crepes. I've been here twice and got the mango slush ($6) both times because I wasn't feeling boba. The slush is made with real fresh mango and tastes so refreshing on a hot summer day. The second time I came, my cousin got the Butterfly Paradise ($6) which is a smoothie made with butterfly tea. It was really good too. I also got one of their crispy crepes the second time filled with sweet Thai chili, pork floss, and imitation crab ($9). It was honestly one of the best snacks I've had at a boba shop, and so unique too! Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a boba fix in the valley. read more

Drove by this place with one of my gf and it caught our eye. Once we walked in we were greeted by the server. The place is cute in pink with nice neon signs, super clean and all around good feeling. The server was great at allowing us to review the menu. Once we couldn't decide we asked for her recommendations which she gave us. Wait time was about 5-8 min for our drinks and once they came out they were AMAZING. I got the regular Thai drink with Boba but they also offer, crepes, and other dessert. Pretty wild menu with savory crepes and sweet ones. Didnt get a chance to snap a pic of the menu though. But I will be back. read more

Delicious definitely worth stopping by and trying it you will want to come back , it's a small place but everything is delicious different options of bobas teas smoothies slushees crepes mini pancakes it's worth the price. Amazing amazing amazing. Great texture and hard working staff. Clean, quick, and tasty. Highly recommended. We initially went to another boba place 15 min before closing but they rudely turned us away for the night. We happened to find this place and we pulled up just as they were about to close the store but the kindly let us in!! We wanted to keep it simple for them and asked to make the easiest drink, knowing they're practically closed but they insisted on making us anything we wanted. We got two drinks and as we got back to our car, one of them actually came up to us saying she forgot to add sugar to one drink and was willing to make us a new one. We actually liked the drink without sugar so we kept it, but it was such a nice gesture knowing they were literally closed already. Definitely will be back:) read more

This has always been our favorite boba spot but I love them even more after tonight! I'm about 5 months pregnant and was desperate for my favorite brown sugar boba. My hubs rushed us over and we realized we got there 15 minutes after their closing time. We peeked in to confirm that they were actually closed and even though they were in the middle of cleaning up, they were so kind and still offered to serve us! This is the second time in 3 days we visited this place. Their Crispy Thai crepes are so good. So far we have tried strawberry jam and fresh strawberry, strawberry and Nutella, and our favorite, Thai sweet chili and dried shredded pork. It is a Thai street food classic. We love the savoury crepe. The sweet chili goes really well with the shredded pork. And the portion you get is really good for the price. My 9 year old neice had her crepe for dinner. We also tried one of their special drinks, Blackpink. It's a Hale's Blue Boy sala syrup milkshake mix with Oreos and top with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs. It's so delicious. Right now they only take out but they put the crepe nicely in box so don't worry about crepes getting crushed. Plus we let the crepes rest before packing so when we got home the crepes were still nice and crispy. read more

I had a craving for soft crepes and found this place to be open pretty late. I gave it a try and I have been coming here for my Nutella, strawberry, and banana crepe cravings since! Yum!! I will even dare to say they are better than the Crave crepes . I can also always count on them having the mango sticky rice available in case my local Thai restaurant doesn't offer it during "off season." The place is aesthetically very cute and has an option for high chair bar table seating and also coffee table & couches style seating. Service is great and the staff are very nice and friendly. I came here with my friend today searching for a new boba spot and we were more than satisfied. The place itself felt so different than any other overly packed boba shop. Customer service was great. They have really good drinks here and even though I can't eat dairy, I still get the brown sugar milk tea cause it's so good. If I'm not getting that then my second pick is the mango smoothie. Both drinks are sweet and have a refreshing aftertaste. They're very fast when it comes to making the drinks and their other selection of drinks are amazing. read more

We noticed new crispy crepes place is open so we decided to check out this place. Great ambiance and super cute. We ordered two crepes and two pink milk blended, our crepes superrrr crispy and delicious. The drink itself is pretty good but the size (small) for me is more than enough for two people (small size is like 20-24oz large about 30oz). People there are very helpful and friendly. We def will be back soon to try their milk tea and something else. read more

Delicious boba! I had the taro milk tea. They're really nice here too. I ordered over the phone. When I got there, they hadn't mixed the drink with the boba yet which I appreciated. Yelp says they do curbside pickup but when I asked for curbside pickup over the phone they seemed confused. read more

I walked in to this boba shop in wanting my quick boba fix. Unfortunately I came about 5 minutes too late. I was about to just walk out without satisfying my undying craving but as I was turning to walk out a sweet voice called me back offering to make me a boba anyways. She must have saw the sadness in my eyes as I was turning around. I ordered the mango slush with mixed jelly. Omg it taste like straight mangos, and nice and sweet how I like it but not as sweet as the girl who made the drink for me (Pear) like the fruit she said haha. Absolute BEST place for boba. Period. Hands down. I'm obsessed. I took my cousin. He's obsessed. I took my boyfriend (who is a tough critic). He's obsessed. I love this place. The quality of the boba is unmatched. The teas are delicious. It's super cute and the staff is always happy and friendly. Good vibes. They offer more than boba too. They have food like crepes, pancakes, and mango sticky rice. It's a small business that seems to take good care of their employees. They always update their instagram if they need to close for a day for their employees needs, and they seem to close for multiple days around holidays which I think is great for their staff. :) Just a great place. AND THEY CATER! I swear if I ever get married they are catering my wedding. I will literally plan my wedding around them lol (you think I'm joking...) read more

Chala boba is a very interesting place, the flavors for me were not to my liking we got an açaí bowl, & a crepe & drink. My açaí bowl had really heavy undertones of an herb I want to say. The staff were very gentle & patient & accommodating as we were first timers. The parking was not the best it was small & crowded. I definitely recommend this to try something new, it just was not to my liking. read more

She mentioned they were out of the cashew butter I requested for one of the bowls, so she provided a different butter on the side in a convenient container. It's a love-hate relationship because each bite is more delicious than the last, but that also means that I'm going to be finished soon. That's exactly how I feel about this place. My go to order is: 32 oz Acai bowl, chocolate chunk granola, strawberry and banana, Nutella drizzle, and an extra topping of bee pollen. Parking is never an issue so it's easy to get in and get out fairly quickly. The only issue I've come across so far has to be the customer service. I placed a large order recently and realized I made a mistake. I called within 2 minutes of placing the order to fix it, and was told that the bowls had been made already. I was perplexed because when you order through the app, "ASAP" means it will be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered four bowls, and it was ready in less than two minutes? Yeah something is off here. I asked if I could fix the mistake I made and was met with "no there's nothing we can do because it's been made already". I explained how that couldn't be my order because I had JUST placed it, and it's advertised that it would be ready in 20 minutes because I chose the "ASAP" option. They then said that sometimes if they're not busy, they can finish an order in 5 minutes.... Okay. Well this one was done in 2 minutes so they must have The Flash working there. So just a heads up to everyone. Even though 20 minutes is what it'll say in the app if you select "ASAP" your order will probably be ready way before that so don't wait longer than you need to. Since they weren't remotely interested in trying to help me out, I figure I'd just have to take the L on this one. I sent an email to the address they have listed on their website (hello@beariesacai.com) for further help, but don't even bother trying that. The address is invalid so it'll get you nowhere. They should fix that because it's listed on their company website. They have a different email listed on their instagram page (beariesacai@gmail.com) But they haven't responded so I wouldn't count on getting any help. So make sure ya'll get it right the first time, Otherwise you're just out of luck. It's still absolutely delicious though.

Plus for the of the cups they use the price is very fair! My favorite drink the is the butterfly pea flower with boba and lychee jelly. The moment I stepped in, I noticed how dirty the place was, which made me hesitant about consuming anything from there. Horrible experience at this dessert shop! Found rat droppings in the corner of the store. Definitely not appetizing to see while trying to enjoy dessert. Hygiene seems to be a major issue here. Drinks were sub par, only good for pink decor. AVOID THIS PLACE! read more

Teas with boba are yummy and best of all, you can control the sugar that goes with it, I like mine with just 25% sweetness. The mini pancakes are soft & fluffy and the condensed milk and fresh strawberries make for a really good snack read more
