After some Lunar New Year's activities at a local temple, my cousin and brother and I wanted to stop by and grab some boba somewhere before heading back to the family. After hearing my cousin list all of the boba places in the valley (compared to the 626, there aren't), I decided on Bounce Boba Lounge since it's not a franchise or name that we have in SGV. Plenty of parking in the plaza and there's 2 order kiosks when you go in. Takes some time for our drinks and snack to come out but a lot of it had to be blended then and there. They have giant catering packs of 1 gallon boba if you need it. There's fried snack foods here and lots of unique blended and slush type drinks and I feel like that's what they're more known for. During the wait, you can play with their very aged Jenga set (can tell this is a popular stop for lots of people) or look at the worker's playlist recommendations which is pretty fun and I haven't seen it elsewhere. For our order, we got the: 1) Spicy Fries: -We got this regular spicy and it had a slight kick to it. Not too bad. -Comes with 2 sauces. You can pack the ketchup, BBQ sauce, and sweet and sour sauce (it's the classic Red 40 yummy crab rangoon sauce) for free near the utensils, so definitely use your 2 sauces for something not available. So we got the spicy mayo and the ranch. Way more than enough sauce for the amount of fries that we got. -Decent amount of fries enough to share amongst like 5 people who snacked on it. Slightly crispy, slightly moist and soggy (but in a good potato way not a Styrofoam way). 2) Frozen Flan: -Got to take a sip of this. Sweet honey boba taste and the flan is more like the custard pudding you get in boba places than the standard caramel flan that you get as a dessert. Not bad, but different from what I expected. 3) Sea Salt Marble Ghirardelli Chocolate Caramel: -This is the drink that I got for myself since the name itself had a mixture of everything that I enjoy, chocolate, sea salt, and caramel! -It's a slightly watered down milky chocolate slush (not bad, but the flavor can be a bit denser and richer) and there's caramel mixed in. Very subtle caramel flavor that was drizzled on the cup, so make sure you mix it up. Yummy dessert drink if anything. 4) Brulee Buko Pandan Smoothie: -My brother got this one and it's a classic taste that reminds me of a Vietnamese dessert. Strong coconut flavor from the pandan, but with some subtle vanilla and caramel taste to it too. Another yummy dessert drink. Before a lot of the fancier franchises took over the 626, this reminds me of the boba places from the early 2010's where they had snacks and were a more fun place to hang out. Solid boba place.

A great Boba spot in Northridge! Came here with friends after dining and we had to try this spot. Bounce Boba is located in a shopping mall with other establishments. There's ample parking and easy to find. When you walk in, you're able to make selections on a computer screen of what type of boba you may want. The establishment has so many choices in whatever mood you may be in. My boa was perfect and I really enjoyed the flavors. Can't wait to come back. Service was great and our bobas came out really quickly. The staff seemed nice as well.

3.5/ 5 I give this place. It is great to pass by this place and grab the good stuff. The staff are always helpful and patient when I was struggling what to get. They answered my questions when I was asking what's in it on the drinks. They keep the place clean and tidy which is always good to see. The drinks were prepared good. Although the cup seems to have gotten smaller. They used tout it on decent size cups. Im sure they are saving money with smaller cups. The taste is still good though but the quantity has lessened. Customers know when things are off and can see the difference.

Good drinks. It's cashless so you have to order from a touch screen. Kinda sad not to be greeted when walking in while the staff is engaged in their own conversations. As we were waiting for our drinks, another customer walks in, isn't greeted or assisted and walks right out. I'm not surprised. Place itself is small but well kept. Parking lot not as busy on a Sunday.

If you want both drinks and great food this is the place to be haven't been here in years since I was in college . It was nice to go back and enjoy . It's still the same but upgraded kiosk since it does get busy.

Haven't been here for a minuteeeee but wanted to treat my nephew for his school award so decided to stop by. Came and ordered 8 drinks for the family. Taste is still superb but this time the service was slow. Everyone who ordered after me got their drinks first. Other than waiting around longer than I wanted to everything is still delicious.

This is my favorite boba spot in the LA area. When you enter the shop, you know the owner really put in efforts to make you feel cozy and welcomed. The ambiance reminded me of the times back in college, friends would get boba, study, and just hang out. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken. Extremely crispy and the seasoning is the right amount of spice and saltiness. Honestly legendary. I usually get their matcha drinks or the signature milk tea. The way how the drinks taste is exactly like how you would have had it in Taiwan, super authentic milk tea spot. Highly highly recommend. They are also doing fund raisers and event catering. Also met some influencers when I swing by from time to time.

We heard of bounce Boba when we attended the Yelp elite 818 event, about 10 minutes down the road we decided to stop in since they close at 11 o'clock after our event with the complementary coupon One free drink . We took advantage of it before we head home . Wyatt helped us with our order since we can't process the coupon at the kiosk station. We decided to purchase six more additional drinks to take home to our kids. They offer party treats size drinks for large groups as well. Yummm thank you .

A couple friends and I were in the Northtridge vicinity and found ourselves nearby this boba shop. Thought the name of the biz was intriguing plus we happened to have a complimentary drink voucher (thank you Bounce!) that we received from an event so we had to drop on by to use it. It's a cute place with good amount of inside seating. There are a few kiosks for self-ordering or you may walk up to the counter to order. Please note if you have any coupons or vouchers for free drinks or any other free stuff, you will need to order from the counter and not use the kiosk. They also have one all gender restroom for use which is convenient for the customers. Staff was very friendly. I usually get our go-to drinks for my daughters and I. My eldest daughter loves peach mango jasmine green tea + lychee jelly so I got her that. My youngest daughter loves the brown sugar black milk tea + crystal boba, but they didn't have crystal boba so got her that with honey boba instead. I got the taro milk tea with custard jello cubes (aka egg pudding LOL). All the drinks had no ice just the way we like it because we don't want our drinks to be watered down. All 3 drinks were amazing... quite delightful and refreshing! Will definitely get again! Bounce is quite a distance from my home, but should I be in the San Fernando Valley area in the near future, I will return here for more tasty drinks. Thank you Bounce for being great at your craft! Keep it up!!

    Nutty pistachio
    Peter H.

After having a bite next door at Kickin', a group of us bounced our way over here for drinks. While others were going for the milk tea, I couldn't help but notice the Nutty Pistachio which reminded me of the pistachio shakes I would get at a spot called Café BT. Not a lot of places make them, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Many shops these days have self-service tablets for ordering, and this place is no exception. As one would expect, there were some in there busy at work on their laptops, while others were gossiping away. Guess we're just passing by. The drink for the smallest size was $5.95 and turned out not too sweet, perhaps slightly less flavor than I'm used to without adjusting the sugar level. The almond topping was a nice touch. Kinda felt as if I inhaled the whole thing in an instant, though it helped that it was a scorcher outside.

    New concept

BBL was one of the revolutionaries that specialized in boba drinks in the valley, a mainstay for school fundraisers. Nowadays, with Bon Bon into play, the line isn't as long. Drinks are a bit artificial tasting and tend to be on the sweeter side. Boba is chewier than I'd like. The redeeming constant, however, is their food, especially their popcorn chicken. I like the sauces here better than Tea n Tea. Since they opened, they underwent an interior design and logo change. Looks more modern and sleek. Same owners as Kickin Kasian - bomb food, OK lemonades.

Sign by the register letting you know about sweetness level

My first time here and definitely not my last. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely pick this place as a good meetup spot with friends. Cute decor and quaint size. One thing that sets this boba place apart is that right by the register, they let you know that they can adjust the sweetness level to your preference. I know that in theory but this is the only boba place that I've seen that has a sign thoroughly explaining what each amount means. Thanks for your quick service , Dave!

Drove back here on an extra trip to Bounce Boba Lounge, Northridge, Los Angeles, CA. to support them. Bought their house milk tea I believe with boba, less sugar. Super late post. Staff was friendly and efficient: this location was convenient if I was already driving out to Los Angeles, CA. I will return again to continue supporting them. Bounce Boba Lounge, CA.. was located close to Cal State Northridge, CA. The tea shop was super clean and organized: they also provided free water for customers.

Do they have any reward programs or punch card promotions?

They used to but I believe they stopped the punch cards a few years ago.

    Why has bounce been closed?

    They lost power

Possible for there to be a vegan friendly sea salt foam 😫?

They will let the manager know and they'll look into it. I've already put a suggestion in.

Beyond the coffee, the shop has a warm neighborhood coffee shop vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff are always friendly and keep things moving despite how busy the shop gets. As for parking, there are a few spots in the back, and you can usually find street parking along Reseda as well. There are plenty of coffee shops around, but Re Coffee stands out for consistently delivering a great cup of coffee. The constant line isn't hype--it's well deserved.

They have a small and limited parking lot behind the coffee shop as well as some street parking open on Reseda and Dearborn. There's a Trader Joe's and Chili's across the street with more parking as well and I have parked behind Dave's Hot Chicken and the Habit and there is always space there. Ambiance: This coffee shop is quaint and feels a little cramped when you finally get inside and through the line. There is a counter top with some chairs as well as one couch and desk where one can study although, I personally never would. It's clean and bright with a minimalistic vibe inside. With it being cramped, you basically just get in, order, and get out. It's rare to find seating inside and it can feel overwhelming just sitting there trying to enjoy your drink with so many people around. Drinks: We've been there multiple times and you can always expect the same- mid, slightly overpriced, oh- getting some post purchase clarity. But it's the type of slightly regretful decision we continue to make every time. We've gotten the matcha einspanner on several occasions, vanilla iced latte, caramel latte, and the most disgusting Americano known to man. Whether you get the dark or light roast Americano, you will not run away from the burnt and bitter flavor. Service: The line moves quickly, they take your order and get you in and out without a long wait. They also offer stamp cards, buy 10 get the 11th free. What a steal! Gimme 10 more! Overall: All this to say, it's oddly grown to be a valley staple, and represents some bordering LA values- overpriced, overhyped, but for some reason addicting in the fact you always seem to go back. I would say 3.5 but it doesn't allow it, so I'm feeling generous today.

Drinks/food: We've tried the Iced Ube Matcha latte, Iced sea salt latte, Iced Ube Latte, as well as the Ube truffles. I love the ube flavor and it pairs perfectly with their matcha. The menu is fun and unique, especially for anyone who enjoys ube flavors. The cafe itself offers a comfortable, inviting space that works well for hanging out or getting some work done. While the drinks can run on the sweeter side and some of the drinks are just average, the overall experience is still enjoyable. The friendly service and relaxed atmosphere is a calm choice for a new casual cafe stop, particularly if you are there for their ube specialties.
