I wish there was a rating for zero stars. They have been nothing but a nightmare from the start my loan was switched to them, and they never even contacted us once. We had been overpaying on our loan the whole time. We have never missed a payment once and due to the overwhelmingly disregard for their customers we decided to just pay off our car early. They were beyond rude all of them it took me and my fiance to drive (We live 2 and a half hours away) to their office to tell them their legal obligations to me. They continued to say that they didn't have to show me my loan or account information which legally they can't do but apparently this company has no problems doing things that are illegal. SO I would recommend you stay away from them at all costs. Thinking my ordeal was over with them since I paid off my loan, I just recently got my credit report and they state that I was late for every single payment that I made which couldn't be true seeing as how I only had them fro one month and then paid off my loan. They also state that I owe them 4k. Which clearly I do not since I paid off my loan. I am currently disputing this companies fraudulent reporting. If you are a business looking to switch your loans here don't if you are a person looking for a loan do not do it. After you pay off your car they will make sure it ruins your credit. I didn't have any issue with this company till I sent in a check, like I always had and they claim that I had to make it out a different way. Mind you I have been writing checks the same way for over 20 years. And if I didn't over night it or pay over the phone and pay the additional fee to do so, my payment that they got over a week ago would be late. REALLY..... My most recent bad experience was last month. I sent them a money order and it has yet to be found by the staff. Its funny how all my payments are sent in the envelopes they provide and all the checks are received but the money orders have issues. This will make the second time a money order is claimed to not have been received by this company. I think they have some shady people collecting payments. Though the first money order I couldn't find the receipt and I lost out it wont be the same for this $1000 money order I have filed a complaint and I cant wait for Western Union to bust the person. read more

Today I get a call asking if I have a copy of my receipt, as they didn't make a copy and they need it as proof I paid my loan. WTF? When I couldn't immediately find my receipt, partially due to the fact that I was in disbelief and a little upset at getting this call I told her I'd call back. I have have been working with challenge financial for a few years. I have had the best experience working with a rep. named Jenny. Jenny has been so professional and understanding and has made every conversation pleasant. Unfortunately today I received a disgusting text message from a rep. Named Brenda ext. 129. Brenda messaged me regarding payment which is on day 4. I have informed challenge that my pay day is the 22nd and they have accommodated my payment to reflect the 22nd. I'm not sure if brenda is unable to read properly but by her verbage on her message it does tell me she has no professional skills or education and should not be working in an office environment what so ever. Brenda told me I need to learn how to pay my bills on time and continues to message me saying she pays her bills with a laughing emoji. I advised her that she is harassing me and extremely unprofessional and can not spell for shit. She replied I pay my bills. Even after I informed the trash employee that I was making a Complaint she continued to message me and harass me. It's very alarming to know this so who your finance company hires and maybe they felt sorry for her and hired her out of pity but this type of behavior shoups not be allowed. Chalange Financial In My Opinion is great Company they have gone out of there way to help me and have been extremely helpful from the associates to remind you of your payment witch is great for someone like me I work diffrent times of day most of the time I tend to lose track of days and if I recive my checks a few days after the payment date they always were so polite and easily granted me an extension date without question, I could understand how some people might be bothered by reminders of payment but for me I've fallen behind on payments in the past and I'm working on rebuilding my credit and getting ahead. I have been waiting months for this glorious moment to finally write a review. But, I wanted to make sure my refund check cleared before posting... Have you ever felt like you were in a horror movie? Well, this place is a horror movie nightmare. It's like Michael Myers creeping up on you. I had financial crisis and could no longer pay my loan. I wanted to see if they could work with me on paying a smaller portion or negotiate a % off my loan if I paid it that moment. Welp, I got a big fat no from a customer service rep named Jorge Gutierrez. Which by the way, he should be awarded the noble prize of "Most Rude" Customer Rep. I was explaining my situation and he interrupted me to say: " What do you want, a reward for your all your on time payments; as an adult It's your responsibility so be responsible." Baffled by his words, I asked to speak to a manager. I got Enrique, who nicely laid out some options for me. Enrique also suggested that I should remove myself from their automatic pay and to email Jorge Gutierrez for that request. And so I did, but I never got an email back stating that this was done. So, I emailed Jorge again, but never heard back. The day my bill was due, I called and spoke with Stephanie Ixta who was very nice to me over the phone. I told her I wanted to pay off my loan and to confirm if I was removed from their automatic pay system. I paid off my loan and she confirmed with me I was removed from their auto pay. I kid you not guys, the next day they took out $125.00 from my bank account. I called them and asked what happened and Stephanie said "I don't know, let me find out." So basically, it turns out that Jorge Gutierrez never did his job but there was proof of my emails to him requesting to be removed. Was Jorge on medical leave? Were Jorge's fingers too busy that he could not press a button or two and get this done? Whatever it was, it cost me $125. Stephanie did say they would refund $125 in full. Few weeks passed and I still didn't have my refund. I called again, and nicely Stephanie said I had to wait till DMV processed my documents to get my refund. Ummm no, I wanted my money since it was their mistake, not mine. Why should I wait for their mistake!? Stephanie then said it would be about week to arrive by mail. That week or so turned out to be months. And when I got my refund it wasn't even for the full amount. I simply laughed. This place is a big fat joke! The owner of this company must be sitting on a high throne counting his pennies like Scrooge McDuck in his fancy golden money vault. Get out, and get out fast! Or even better, let your account go to collections, they will work with you waaay better than this company will. Oh, and don't try stopping by their headquarters, they don't accept payments, everything here is done electronically, which makes me think if this is even a legit company. xo - Cookie read more

Really deserve NOTHING !!!! By far the worst company ever!!! Rip off!!! Very Rude and personally I will never finance with them again! One my car has been totaled a couple of months after I received a letter that they enforced insurance on my vehicle that already had full coverage. After calling the company to notify them I had insurance I was told that they already enforced insurance on the vehicle but not liability and it was nonrefundable. After they already charged me $1200 for their insurance I decided to keep their insurance and change my insurance to just liability now that my car is totaled I'm being told that I cannot be informed any information because it's not my insurance and that pretty much they will send me a bill when the claim is complete. Irritated I started calling asking questions #1 they never sent no one out to evaluate the car #2 the day before the accident I just picked up my VW from VW dealer after a $3000 bill that will not be included in the appraisal because their insurance doesn't apply it. #3 Everytime I call about the claim the representatives have no clue #4 my car has been totaled since Nov 2020 and the finance company isn't worried about receiving the payment from the claim because I will be charged interest no matter what. #5 I purchased GAP insurance that their telling me I will receive no information on because they file the claim on my behalf #6 I've been harassed about a payment that's 10 days late but yet the insurance still haven't picked up the car that I'm forced to pay interest on even if it's not in my possession #7 whenever I pay my car note Oscar still calls and harass me about a payment and I literally have to tell him I've paid it and then he would look in the computer and say "oh you did" no apology or anything #8 they won't let you enroll in autopay until you've been with them for a year #9 no extensions even during the pandemic Scam!!!Scam!!!Scam!!! I currently pay on a totaled car that I financed through capital one balanace was $24000 insurance left me with a $7,453 bill that STOPPED accumulation gas insurance the date of loss I was offered a settlement for $1500 that I pay bi weekly On the other hand The insurance Challenge has just picked up the vehicle 6/8/2021 after them rescheduling for over a week now.i get a call from Oscar about a payment and I tell him the car is totaled and he's my Rep and had no clue then asked me to make a payment and that's when I found out that no matter if the car has been picked up the interest is still being applied, when they receive the settlement check interest will still be applied and even if there's a balance I will not be offered a settlement and the interest will still continue to build. If you ask me this is a rip off!!! And after saying that to a manager he hung up in my face. My VW started off with issues first week car broke down in the middle of the street gas line rail and diesel issue dealership sends it to VW they keep it for a week later I get the car back then it breaks down while driving same issue Gas line rail diesel problem at this point I'm ready to return the car and was told I couldn't letter I find out the car fax was a fake and the finance company ran my credit 32 times after I had already bought the car. I've been with this company for three years now. I have never missed a payment and Ive never been late making them. My rep is Oscar he sometimes calls for no reason and bugs me while I am at work, he doesn't have the best customer service all the time and seems like he hates his life/job. I sold my car to Carmax and bought a new 2022 but with a BETTER financing company. Unexpectedly I received a call from Oscar today regarding an unpaid payment. I called Carmax and was told it takes 15 days for the check to go through( it's already been 8) so when I called Oscar back, I asked to speak with his supervisor hoping to get a more professional attitude. Boy was I wrong. I was greeted by a manager named Jaclyn who was very aggressive right off the bat it seems Oscar already spoke with her and I believe this clouded her attitude towards my situation. I began to explain to her what carmax had told me, she laughed about it and said there's no way it takes 15 for a check to be processed. Basically I asked if there's anything they can do to help because they will be receiving there payment by the 5th from carmax. She rudely said she's not going to do anything for me and in fact she is going to report "my late payment" immediately the next day on the first?! So my payment is due on the 31st and she's going to report me the 1st even thought the payment will be received by the 5th??!! Horrible service from both of these reps will never finance here again and will never recommend this company. read more

I am an Insurance Agent who was calling to obtain lien holder information. I also happen to be my clients relative. I am an intellegent person and in the above 40 category. I believe I can safely say, I have never experienced someone as rude or disrespectful a person as the woman I just spoke to before hearing a request. I did get the information I needed originally, however, when transferred to customer service to explain that my client is not getting cooperation from the "lot" she purchased from to get her documentation and if she could have her paperwork emailed to HER, not me, the woman was rude and insinuated that if I knew privacy law then I wouldn't be asking anything and that I am unprofessional. I stated that I was aware of privacy law prior to asking. I was not asking for any information about the loan. I TRIED to tell her no one is cooperating from the lot or Challenge Financial in getting her documentation. At this time, She has no proof of ownership and has yet to get her contract. She was spoken to badly from the sales person and now cannot seem to get copies of transfer of title, contract, receipt of down payment, DMV registration payment receipt, etc. It seems as though as soon as I said the lot was uncooperative, the attitude came on. I was so taken aback by her over talking me and presenting herself as smarter or better than me, I barely could get that request out. She hadn't even checked the notes to see if I was authorized to speak to her. The only thing I was asking is IF I could request info be sent to her. I cannot give lower than 1 star, but that would be my option. Since this is probably a finance company that deals with high risk clients, those clients may just accept mistreatment because they do not have many options. No matter the reason, treating people with such degradation is unprofessional, unkind, and above all, humiliating. Shame on your Office Manager or Owner for allowing this behavior. Especially when tensions are high in this world right now. It does not take more energy to say after hearing out the request, "I understand your need Ms. Person, however our Privacy Guidelines prohibit me from going forward with your request. Please have the client call to request that or notate you are authorized to call on the client's behalf relating to this topic". HMMMMM, simple isn't it? read more

These people just called my workplace FOR MY COWORKER and when I couldn't get them on the phone, the man yelled at me and said I was ridiculous. He also asked for my last name and threatened to get me fired for being rude when I told him my colleague was unavailable. If someone is unavailable, they are unavailable. At no time was I "hiding" my coworker, they simply were not in the office. As an uninvolved third party, he had no right to yell at me, threaten me and bully me over the phone. read more

I called Challenge Financial Services to get a copy of a document I needed right away to be able to receive money from the car insurance. They directed me to Yesenia Ramires who works there. She was sincerely caring and sweet, she listened to me, kindly explained what I needed to do, and helped me to get what I needed immediately! (Which normally takes a couple weeks) She even wrote down my name and phone and kept it on her desk for when she received my mailed info that she needed, so she could take care of it right away. Which she did. Yesenia took care of everything and mailed me back the document I needed in an hour! She even called me to tell me she had just mailed me my document and to let me know I should receive it the next day, and I did! She also explained to me what I should do once I got the papers, to expedite things for me even after things were out of her hands! Yesenia Ramires was wonderful, she cared more than even family!
