They took the car because she didn't provide the lender with essential documents. And I can assume the documents she had were fraudulent. You know how many documents I had to provide to the lender before my financing was finalized? A lot...and because I wanted to keep my car, I made sure those documents were provided. Anyway on to the review: I have nothing but positive things to say about these people, Luis is a seriously the most kindhearted car dealer I've ever met in my life. When first arriving for my test drive I met Lui, (yes Lui & Luis are two different people) he showed me the car and started the financing process very promptly when I was ready...all while he was getting trained by Nataniel...whom was juggling 1,000 tasks at once...Nataniel is literally a state of the art cyber human when it comes to helping many customers at once....and to be Training Lui at the same time? Mind blown And bottled WATER! Lui was constantly making sure we were hydrated...I mean cmon it's Phoenix but still, that was the first thing he asked when I arrived. Very professional where it matters and very personal where it counts. Now my experience might be a little different from most because I was purchasing a vehicle that is designed for precision driving. A 2015 Subaru BRZ. which at the high mileage it was at, was due for a lot of services(maybe a little more than most of the vehicles that come through sure ride auto). Luis has a team of service guys who handle all of the vehicles maintenance "in house" before bringing the vehicles to the lot for sale. And In all honesty, they do an incredible job of making sure vehicles are in top shape before they put them out. The sole intent of this dealership is to never sell a bad vehicle. And if something leaves that has a problem? Fix the problem immediately. Of course we are all human , and humans can make mistakes or sometimes overlook certain things. Certain things on my car were overlooked and went unnoticed, and other things were definitely serviced. my cars engine and transmission run incredible, feels like the car only has 30k miles (when it actually has about 122-123k). My point being, that when I called Luis to address certain issues, he did everything in his power to address these things that were overlooked. And again he was actually very apologetic that the car even had these things wrong after I left the dealership with the vehicle, because this isn't normally how things usually go for his customers. And that's what matters to me! These people have no intention of selling a bad vehicle, They sold me a car that they believed was in perfect driving condition, and when I pointed out to Luis a few days later "hey I think this battery is failing and needs to be replaced" Luis, without hesitation immediately had it replaced and couldn't believe that the battery wasn't already replaced. No harm no foul, they have a lot of things going on everyday. the man power, while efficient, is very small in contrast to the workload . Luis will literally respond to an issue in the middle of a family emergency(which he actually did when I pointed out a different problem) again, i reported an issue to Luis..handled/fixed immediately....funny enough I actually just got off the phone with him before writing this. I noticed components on my front suspension on my car needs to be replaced...and again, without hesitation "I'm gonna get the parts ordered and as soon as they are in, I'll have my team service the vehicle immediately" and I know he probably doesn't have it in the budget for these fixes, but my satisfaction as a customer matters more to him then making a serious profit off me. This man isn't driven by money. how do I know? Let's just say he adjusted the sticker price on my car just so I had a manageable car payment. Most if not all of these guys have children. And I think that's where I related well to them. my wife and my son were with me during this purchase and when my 18 month old son started getting agitated, one of the dealership guys handed him a toddler toy to distract him Luis is a person whose agenda is to bring happiness to people. he does everything in his power to make sure you have the best experience. However we did 0 research on the car, and we realized too late that they priced the car extremely high. especially with the amount of miles that came on it. we were so desperate to get a vehicle because we had a new born son and we needed transportation however being a new family who was tight on money it's absolutely upsetting to learn that the car place took advantage of our lack of experience. From the moment we walked in they set the tone that we would be lucky to get approved and unfortunately for us that sales trick got us. Looking back we had no repos so we prob could have gone elsewhere but we just had a baby and we literally had to take an uber to the car lot. I am kicking myself for not having done our research.. so far the car has been pretty good for us- no issues beyond the tire pressure sensor needing to be replaced when we bought the car. another frustrating thing is this car place doesn't put 1/2 coolant 1/2 water- they save money by putting less coolant in. Kinda crappy to do to customers in this heat because they will have to do a coolant flush especially with summers here in AZ- if they want to keep their AC working in tip top shape. Having a baby i'm kicking myself for not choosing a better car with back AC vents but that's on me not the car company: I just wish the car company maybe thought about back AC vents for me.. So down payments are ridiculous there we had to put like 1k down on a 7,500 car so that kinda sucked, other car dealerships only require $500 down on that size loan. The financial aspect is what is the most frustrating for us, but there are some good points. We are making BMW size payments for this car- it feels like. Having bad credit sucks....compared to family members who have great credit my car payments are close to theirs and I am driving a significantly crappier car. My advice is buy a cheap car outright and pay off whatever crap is bringing down your credit score because paying $400 a month for ford escape hurts... In addition to the steep interest the thing I hate the most is the ridiculous convenience fees... This company takes total advantage of people in that area and routinely will take off my auto pay in order to make me have to pay a $12 convenience fee. Like right now somehow I owe them $20 in late fees but I can't get my account manager to respond to the text threads anymore. He was up until I started sending screen shots of my bank account showing that I made the entire payment- on their end it shows me only paying $182 however it's auto pay and I clearly show payment of $192. So I'm having to stay on this because I started getting harassed by them saying that i'm 11 days late , ok, how? what's the balance? they respond with $20.... and mind you i'm getting like very threatening messages like pay this today or risk next steps... Crazy talk because I have no clue how I am behind $20 and I can't get anyone on the phone to explain it to me, now my next payment is due on Friday this week- and they have stopped replying via text message and send me to vm when I call. last message I received from them is that they disabled my auto payments set for fri this week. Mind you if I have to call the payment in I have to pay a $12 convenience fee and we are a one income household right now and that's just not doable. So I am livid dealing with this kind of nonesense. I have asked them as the first check of the month pays our rent and it would be better for us if we have 1 payment a month instead of bi weekly... They refuse to do that.. but they allow us to make payment arrangements, ok cool... so how do I owe $20 then? and that is why i'm giving them only 2 stars because of the hassle over this, and out of nowhere $20 late fee which I am thinking they are going to try and tie to the payment arrangement even though I can't get anyone on the phone to confirm this. I was told the vehicle was not involved in any accident upon further investigation it was determined it had been in an accident I dealt with the Country Club location Liz was a bloodhound not a good experience she wanted to place me in any car and was bothered that I excepted anything more from a USED car so I went to Surprise customer service from Pedro was great but the vehicle has issues fast forward I was told to come and get the vehicle it was ready when I arrived NOTHING had been fixed the car still had no HEAT but they stated they changed the thermostat but when you run the a/c you smell burning wires I also was told there is not an oil leak it was left over oil from a repair so they "cleaned" the area this is where it gets funny the manager Mark becomes upset that I didn't want to keep the car because the repairs were not performed and the air bag light is still on meaning it will not deploy GOD forbid in an event I get into an accident he came to me a WOMAN as if he wanted to tussle he was waving the paper around that showed they cleaned off the bottom of the vehicle it's a 2011 vehicle if I want a vehicle with no issues he advise me to get a 2026 excuse me?
