We went on a Saturday after the farmers market so we did have to stand in line for a while, since they don't take reservations, but it was well worth the wait. The service was great! Our server was very nice - clearly busy - but had a great attitude. The food came out slowly over time, but it was spaced pretty perfectly to get through our starters and then our mains. All the food was fantastic! We got a few starters and mains for the table (highly recommend sharing). My favorite starter was probably the marinated artichoke or the bread that tasted nice and fresh. For the mains, we got some risotto, veggie lasagna, and beef cheek - the resounding favorite was the beef check! It was so tender and the jus had amazing flavor. My beer was also tasty, I thought it was very smart to be able to walk around and pick what you wanted when it was convenient for you!

They had amazing food for a pretty good price, and I like that their menu changes all the time so you could always go and try something new. I tried the marinated artichokes, beet salad, vegetable lasagna, green risotto, and the beef cheek. It was all delicious but the beef cheek was my absolute favorite because it was so tender and the flavor was so savory and flavorful. I would love to go back and try even more dishes!

We ordered several appetizers and had drinks. The servers were friendly and the food was delicious. The Crudo was fresh and bright with a bite of spice. Burrata was soft and creamy with tamarind, orange and mint. Highly recommend the Steak Tartare the meat was velvety and the timmur chips had a great crunch for a contrast in texture. Lastly, you can't go wrong with an order of Momos, we got them steamed pork and I could have had 3 more orders. We'll definitely be back!

We started with the pork momo. We've had these before and they're always a great choice. The filling was rich and flavorful, the dumpling dough was perfectly chewy and the dipping sauces added another level of depth and flavor. For mains we split the duck breast and the tagliatelle. The duck was cooked perfectly and the bok choy that came with it added a perfect amount of crunch and mustard flavor. The tagliatelle was rich and the variety of mushrooms in the sauce added so much umami. We look forward to returning!

That all changed last night and it was beyond my wildest dreams. You arrive to a beautiful, semi-rustic open kitchen/bar concept and warm people who sat us at the coveted kitchen-view table (note, it gets warm--I love this). We shared the Valentine's menu; two starters, two entrees, and two dessert options resulted in us trying one of everything. The starters: Crudo--our surprising favorite--contained buttery yet tart scallops we couldn't shut up about, and fresh made tortellini in a rich red pepper sauce we were spooning out at the end. The entrees: a perfectly cooked crusted, yet tender steak with alarmingly good seasoned hasselback fingerling potatoes, and tender swordfish on a bed of creamy cous cous. The dessert: tart lemon mousse cake was a refreshing end, and a dark chocolate, caramel dish with chantilly I was adding to everything. I had a glass of brut champagne with the dinner and it acted a good cleanser between the numerous tastes but my date had the wine pairing, and that too, complimented everything perfectly. Right mix of acid, salt and sweetness.

The waitress gave us free macaroons for our anniversary which was sweet. Can't wait to come back here!

We visited Nosh before a show at Steelhouse, because it was listed on the venue's website as a…read morerestaurant in close proximity. Unfortunately, it was not the best experience. First off, the interior is pretty cute, so I will give them that. But the feng shui of the inside was not super conducive to holding a large crowd of people. Random smattering of chairs in different heights and sizes, so it can be too small for a large group and too big for a couple. There were two big shows downtown, along with the CWS people in town, so it was crazy down there. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, they sort of looked around to see if there was a seat for us (what was the purpose of the reservation?). They first were going to seat us at a low set of arm chairs with a coffee table between them. Somewhere you'd like to sit and have a drink, not a full meal over a coffee table. So then they sat us at a gigantic eight-person high top table when there were only two of us - pretty awkward. We weren't really acknowledged for the first ten minutes or so, but as I said, they were very busy. Our server was great, though, once he got to us. We decided on a few things to eat as we ordered our drinks, knowing we were on a time crunch before the show. We started with the "Devils in Disguise" deviled eggs, and those came out pretty fast and were tasty, with a nice egg base and a candied type bacon on top. They were not too big of eggs, too, so not the type you have to unhinge your jaw to eat, which I appreciated. After the deviled eggs, everything slowed down immensely. Food was coming out around us, but not ours. Large groups who came after we had been there a while, and had ordered way more than us obviously, were getting their food before us. Entree-wise, my husband wanted to try the Prime Rib, as it was the special of the evening. But our server let him know that it was cooked a little over, but in his opinion was still good, so my husband took a chance. Well, let me tell you, it was NOT good. Very dry and almost inedible. The jus that came with it did help a tad bit, but not really actually. The potatoes that came on the side of it also were literally inedible. Burnt and oily and hard, we couldn't even chew them. I had two of the Bao Buns, the Bao Chika Wowza and the Shrimply Irresistible. They were each pretty good, but a little on the spendy side for how small they were. We let our server know about my husband's prime rib being gross, and they did offer to make him anything else he wanted, but we did not have time to wait any more (since the first things we ordered took forever to come out), so he declined, and they just took it off the bill. The decor is cute and our server was nice and doing everything he could to help the situation, but overall, we left still hungry to our concert and got takeout elsewhere when we got home.

They weren't too busy which was nice, we were seated promptly, given menus and water and time to order. After deciding on an appetizer (artichoke spinach dip) we called it good. After tasting the appetizer we decided against ordering here (reason below), so we went to 'Eat the worm' instead. The trade off was worth it. Cost and flavor wise. Regardless, staff was kind and prompt, the place was clean and well staffed, food appeared quickly, and staff stayed on top of their work. *The appetizer was not my favorite/my dates favorite. For some reason it tasted like refried beans had been mixed into it, giving it a grainy texture and cheap bar food smell. Neither of us finished our portions.

Well first off the place was empty and second the customer is always right so seat the customer in front of you first! Server was very friendly and was very helpful. Everyone raved about the country fried bacon. The quality vs value was pretty good on the appetizer but it was a 6 out of 10 at best. The dipping gravy was way too thin, add some flour!! I ordered French dip with fries. I was severely disappointed as the roast beef had no flavor at all. I left half on my plate. Fries were good.
