    Birthday cheese cake

We had an excellent time at Chama Gaucha! We came for my daughter's birthday dinner and had a wonderful meal and time. All of our servers were attentive but our main server Nadia did an excellent job with our table and explained everything really well to our friends who joined who have never been to an experience like this. The location is convenient and the inside was very cute and well lit for this type of meal.

It was my birthday and my wife said it was my choice where we went to celebrate. Chama Gaucha had been on my radar for quite a while, so we headed to Grapevine for my celebratory birthday dinner. We had reservations for 7:00pm on a Wednesday evening. We didn't feel the restaurant would be too buys on a weeknight. When we arrived, we were surprised how many cars were in the parking lot. I was glad we had reservations. For this level of restaurant, reservations were a necessity. We were greeted by two hostesses with warm smiles. They glanced down and said you must be the birthday boy! I said guilty!! We were seated and I looked about to take in the beauty of the decor in the restaurant. Wow, it was stunning. To our left was a gorgeous salad bar, which could be a meal within itself. At first glance there was SO much to select from plus a huge pot of lobster bisque accompanied with sliced French baguettes and butter. I was ready to dive in, but not quite yet. Melissa, our server for the evening, introduced herself to us and asked if we had dined at the restaurant previously. We told her no, this was the first time. She welcomed us again and explained the dining process and how the red and green card works. Red, stop the meat, green serve the meat. She took our wine order, Chardonnay for my wife and Merlot for me. We headed to the salad bar for the first course of our celebratory birthday dinner. Both wines were to our liking. The salad bar was beautiful and stocked with wonderful salad entrees I was careful not to overdue it since I knew there were a lot of meats to taste in my future. There was a wonderful selection of cheese and speciality salads, so much to choose from. Lobster Bisque is one of my favorite soups and Charma's bisque on the salad bar was stellar. It was so thick, rich and creamy. It was delightful. As we were enjoying our flag entrees, a server came by with a treat, a cheese served hot and drizzled with honey. It was fabulous! The restaurant had a speciality liquor cart that goes around from table to table. So cool mobile bartender with a selection of high end brands. Edwin was manning the care. He pointed out many of the speciality liquors that were on the cart. I mentioned how much I love single malt scotch. I love trying the different brands and ages. If course, the longer a scotch has been aged, the more expensive it is. I decided not to "break the bank" and decided on The McCallan 15 poured "neat." Previously I'be enjoyed the 18 and 25 years, so settled on the 15 since we'd already spent so much on dinner. The 15 year was so smooth, I really enjoyed it. After having our salad entree plate picked up and change to clean plates, we took a little breather to let our stomaches rest. Melissa, our server, gave us instructions again about flipping the card to green for serving by the gauchos. She also brought sautéed bananas, for cleansing the pallet and whipped potatoes, which were phenomenal, so creamy. The selection of meats was almost overwhelming, but so much fun to try. I loved the lamp chop which I topped with mint jelly. It and the sausage was my favorite. After getting "over-dosseed" on meats, we, or I, wasn't finished yet. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I had to chose a free birthday dessert. From what I had heard and read, the "Firecracker Cheesecake" wasn't to be missed. I opted for the "Firecracker Cheesecake" for my birthday dessert. It was rich and decadent and quite a show when set on fire at the table. The flambé caramelized the topping on the cheesecake like a cream brûlée, crunchy to the bite. What an incredible way to end a delightful experience, one that I'll never forget. I did want to mention that Tiago, the General Manager, stopped by our table to chat many times throughout our visit. Thank you Melissa for the wonderful service, you made it a memorable birthday.

It was $62 per person for all you can eat. It included the salads bar and a bunch of varying meats. The picanha & filet mignon were great. Note if you do get the picanha, be sure to ask for the inside cut as it's less salty and has more better taste then the end cut. The cheese and honey were very good. The beef rib was very impressive , but very oily which made me wanna tap out after eating it. Staff and service is probably the biggest highlight about the experience, they were so kind and friendly and made things right such as getting a new plate when the plate they initially gave me was stained with some leftover food from cleaning. The ambiance was a bit dark. Overall I had a very good time here and would come back for a special occasion Food(50%): 8.7 Staff/service(25%): 9.0 Value(25%): 8.0 Overall: 8.6/10

We chose this place to do our company Holiday Dinner. We knew we wanted a Brazilian Steakhouse so I turned to Yelp to find one in the area we wanted to stay around. There are a lot of options out there, and this place had great reviews and pictures across several channels. I have to say that it didn't disappoint. The salad bar was immaculate and had so many options to choose from. The lobster bisque was really good. Meat selection was amazing and everything I ate was delicious, especially the garlic beef and bacon wrapped chicken. Everyone that came to our table was so nice and professional. Wonderful service! The restaurant's decor was elegant yet simple. Beautiful Christmas tree at the entrance too!

My haphazardly dumped in creme brulee, you can see the glass, I we were still at the table.

11/8/2025 My mom, brother, boyfriend and I came to have a nice dinner in memory of my father that passed. It would have been my father's 67th birthday.... We were all so excited to make the trek here from Frisco to see how delicious and special this place was, and YES, ambiance is 308% beautiful. My family and I are no strangers to Brazilian steakhouse-- we love Fogo and Gauchos du sol, and Tejas de Brazil, but this place felt like it was so much nicer in ambiance alone -- I mean those places are nothing to turn your nose up at after all! Chama just seems..hmm...*elevated* you know? The salad bar had everything from salad greens to charcuterie meats and cheeses, as well as ready-made salads like hearts of palm salad, chickpea salad, tabouleh, smoked salmon and capers and those little brined mushrooms I love so much! My father would have loved it here, especially since the servers give mashed potatoes, fried polenta and those chewy cheesy breads! My dad used to love to sandwich it all together with pichana or filet mignon... And now, for the not so good part of my review.... The gauchos seemed to be understaffed and forgetful. The first cut of meat was perfectly seasoned and delicious and tender, but if someone else at my table asked for some as well, the gaucho would just walk away without saying anything. We do not know if it was because of a language barrier or if it was because it SO VERY NOISY there that they walked away. One time my brother and I wanted the same meat, and the gaucho gave me some but left my brother?? My brother was like "What about me??" He even tried to get his attention to come back by speaking louder and waving. We did not know which server was ours and they were switched multiple times! We didn't know who to bother for a refill on waters or to even order our wine. It took entirely too long, and we saw so many staff faces that my boyfriend gave up on said bottle of wine for the table. My brother felt bad that he got his cocktail (The Brazilian) and had to drink it alone for my dad (as they say-- pour one out). The staff member left us alone because we had to review the wine list as it is expansive. By the time we were done eating, my mom and I went to the ladies' room, and my brother and boyfriend ordered us desserts. No towels or soap in the restroom, we had to use those paper seat covers. When we came out, we told a hostess (or someone that looked like she was in charge) that there are no towels and no soap. She looked like we were bothering her or that it was below her pay grade.....She had brunette hair and a red and white striped blouse. Again, with the timing, we must have stayed an extra 20 minutes or so, we asked the man in a light blue shirt and glasses for our check and to now put the deserts to go. It took another 15 minutes or so for it to happen and another question of "Where's our order?" to get it to go for us. We open the to go boxes and my brother's cake looks nice, but my creme brulee looks like it was just scooped and thrown into the to go box. This is what we were going home to sing a happy birthday to for our mourning and remembrance?! I took a picture right at the table. AND THEN--- two little boys about 10 or 11 came in selling jumbo sized candy bars for $10 as part of their church field trip basketball fundraiser! At first, we thought nothing of it-- maybe their table with adults is somewhere else in the restaurant? BUT at $54.95/adult, you would think maybe the hostesses would pay attention?? These kids also came up to us again in the parking lot cussing at us and calling us cheap when we declined them because we already bought! My boyfriend and brother tried to talk to them and see where their adults were, but they disappeared amongst the cars! This dining experience left us ALL frustrated and upset on what was supposed to be a much different experience. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad.....(yeah right!)

    High-quality meats

Overall, this place is comparable to Texas de Brazil. I slightly prefer this place more due to their great salad bar. Service is really strong, it's a fancy vibe.

I've been to Fogo De Chao and Texas De Brazil. This place tops both. Every cut of meat was flavorful and tender. Amazing service from the moment you enter to the moment to leave. Definitely a dining experience worth every penny. This will be our new go to Brazilian steak house.

Best service ever! Great food and great service. Highly recommended! We had the best time there.

Wow, prime meat for Churrascaria. You can definitely taste the "quality". This can rival my favorite Churrascaria. The seasoning on the meat was really good. Temperature of meat was always on point. We like our meats medium rare. We came during lunch, they even had prime rib during lunch. The lamb chops was the bomb! It was thick and juicy. Service was really good. The best we had in a long time. Nice interiors. Very fresh.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a wonderful experience. We wanted to celebrate the last week of school before summer with my son and so decided to come in around 4:30pm. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. The open concept was inviting and the art work is so beautiful! The sides varied from pasta, salad, olives, cheeses, veggies but the most incredible side is the lobster bisque. INCREDIBLE start to the meal! Our server, Derek (and David), were so knowledgeable, kind and so much fun to talk to! Derek made sure that everything was great experience for all of us. The lemonade is something you should definitely try even if you're not a huge fan (like me). We took all of Derek's suggestions and after the meats we ordered desserts- Brazilian Flan, flaming Cheesecake and Crème Brûlée. Top notch yall! Favorite meats: Picancha, Cordeiro and Fraldinha!!! Everything was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!:)

Do kids example age 5 cost the same amount as adults? Or are there a kids menu?

I would pick up the phone and call the restaurant for a definitive answer. I’m really not sure since we don’t have children. The place is phenomenal.

Please post specific details for happy hour drinks and food, menu copy if available?

Does anyone know how much it is to use the party room?

I was able to book a party for 15 with no cost on Open Table and they are very accommodating! And they can do separate checks! Hope that helps!

I can't find any price info and no one posted pics in the menu section. How much is it per person?

Dinner- $60. kids menu-3-5 yrs $10 kids 6-11 $30 and dinner salad bar is $37. Hope this helps! Food was delicious and so worth the price.

    Do you have halal options?

I would not trust it to be. But you can submit an official question for an answer on their website.

    Do I need a reservation at 5pm?

I'd suggest you always make a reservation. Some days it could be easy to walk in. Other days you may have to wait. OpenTable is great for the reservations and displaying availability

I understand delays can happen, but a confirmed reservation should mean something. Waiting that long without any apology or effort to make things right was frustrating. Once we were finally seated, the service never recovered. We spent much of the meal waiting for meat to come to our table. Our card stayed on green most of the time, yet several gauchos carrying meat walked past us without stopping. We watched the same nearby tables receive multiple rounds while our table was frequently skipped. We had to ask our waitress several times just to receive basic meat service. The quality of the meat was also inconsistent. Some cuts were overcooked, dry, or heavily charred, and several of the more popular selections rarely came to our table at all. For the price this restaurant charges, I expected much better organization, better service, and much better quality control. Unfortunately, this experience did not justify the cost, and I would not choose to dine here again.

The concept was a delight, all you can eat course dining where you can try everything and order more of what you like. When you sit down, they bring each of the four course out in full to your table and give you time to enjoy each plate. The first course was a simple course of a light cheese dumpling soup and warm fresh bread with a variety of spreads. We found this course an excellent introduction and the soup was exceptionally executed. The second course was a course of appetizers. This is the course we liked the best, the large number of small plates really made the meal feel lavish and each dish was high quality and made with care. I loved the grilled cheese and the spiced apple sauce served with the chicken was delicious. The third course was the entree course, consisting of a number of grilled steaks, poultry, and pasta dishes. The chicken was a bit salty for my tastes but the pasta and the steaks were competently prepared. Lastly, the fourth course was a delightful dessert consisting of flan, chocolate mousse, and a passion fruit mousse. The passion fruit mousse was especially good, but I think each of the desserts worked well to balance each other out. I would like to see dessert with some more variety of texture. The service was perfect, our waiters came around at just the right times and took care to tell us about the dishes on offer. I was equally impressed with the atmosphere. Overall, the dinner price is a little steep, but I think it is well worth it. We will certainly be returning!

We went for my best friend's birthday. I can't tell you how great of an experience we had!!!First…read morethe service is top notch, they cater to you and very friendly staff. It's got a luxurious feel without feeling pretentious. The meats were delicious! I loved how they cook it both, rare and medium. I just love my stuff super rare so I loved that. The top sirloin was my favorite of all the meats. Loved loved the roasted cinnamon pineapple. Paired it with the custard/flan and it was perfection! Last think was the potato salad was one of the best I've ever had, so good. The salad bar was nice and made a salad that I wash I had taken a pic of as all the produce was so fresh. Loved their huge tomatoes. I just can't say enough about this place. It's a hidden gem! Can't wait to go back!!!

Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with our experience at Vila Brazil. We made a reservation…read morefor a party of 14, but our group still couldn't sit together. The restaurant is very small and has only one toilet in the women's restroom and one in the men's, which is especially inconvenient when serving large parties. The fried bananas were flavorless, drinks do not come with refills, and they don't have cups with lids for children to help prevent accidental spills. The chicken lasagna from the salad bar was good, and the fresh limeade was definitely a highlight. At $40 per person, it is about $10-$15 cheaper than some competitors, but the lower price was reflected in the overall experience. I would rather spend a little more elsewhere for better accommodations and a more enjoyable group dining experience.

In all the steakhouses I've been to this one rips through my list to the top!…read more First thought: the food is waaaaay better than fogo de Chao! As always I get the picanha (ooo and they have a spicy picanha, say whaaa) and filet mignon (the only letdown, it was a little dry!). I tried the ribeye steak (omg so juicy and so much flavor), beef sirloin (likewise!) and they were delicious. Parking was easy and we came close to lunch closing but the staff was so kind and attentive to my specific meat requests! And the must - plantains with condensed milk! I asked for this 3 times and they delivered. A friend from work said the grilled pineapple was a must and I was so happy with it. Vines are more wooden, dim litter and business/upscale casual than other steakhouses I've been to.

Wouldn't deter us from going back but a simple notice of what is extra charges up front would be nice. We did the full experience this time, really enjoyed the lamb cuts, regular Picana, spicy picana, filet mignon wrapped in bacon was too rare for me and bacon was not crispy. Chicken and sausage options were good but the beef and lamb are the best for sure. And must have the grilled pineapple. I always get multiple servings of the pineapple. Low lit, more intimate setting, but they welcome kids and have high chairs too.
