    Uhhh......this isn't a good look

Fogo de Chão is the original churrasco (Brazilian steakhouse) where cuts of grilled meats are brought to you and a beautiful Market Table is stocked full of accompanying sides. While it was the first, it's no longer the best. Fogo de Chão has expanded and this review focuses on the North Irving location. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The Fogo de Chão in North Irving is one of the most beautiful locations. My first impression began when I entered the parking lot of this standalone restaurant where I saw a beautiful mural of a tree. On the inside, there's a dedicated bar, visible wine cellar, and plenty of seating. A little smaller in size than other locations limit the number of tables and reduces the size of the Market Table. When it gets crowded the entire restaurant can be cramped, but overall, a beautiful space. 1 Star. Service - At Fogo de Chão, you don't have one server, you have an entire team to help you enjoy your experience. The gauchos run around with skewers of meat while dedicated runners will bring you sides. Your server will help grab a new plate. On my last visit, we had a primary server and a trainee. It led to some slight delays but didn't impact my visit overall. 1 Star. Food - How the mighty have fallen. Fogo de Chão is the original, but in a crowded industry (which it defined), it is no longer the leader. The cuts of meat are still well-seasoned, and my favorite cuts are the lamb chops, bottom sirloin, garlic Picanha, and regular Picanha. These are always good (medium rare), but other cuts are hit and miss. But the biggest let down is the Market Table. It's only half the size of tables at other Fogo locations. And when things get busy, this area gets very crowded. Also, someone needs to refill the basket of bacon. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Only when convenient. One thing that Fogo has going for is their rewards program. I'll admit, I signed up for it and the benefits I receive are worth returning for. That being said, I'd rather go to the original location in Addison. 1/2 Star.

Nice selection from smaller, cramped salad bar!

Have returned a few times since my initial review. All in the lounge for their happy hour. Definitely the way to go! $10 burger with fries more than tops Hudson House's. And an $18 "one trip" salad bar option is perfect. Other apps and drinks with a nice, never too crowded atmosphere.

I've visited this location twice now and my experience was similar both time. Going for lunch/brunch is not super busy and easy to get a table. The salad bar is well stocked. The servers are attentive and come around often. The meat service comes out is waves. There are long pauses and then too many at once, but overall not a big issue. What I do think is an issue is that both times, the lamb chops did not come out until I specifically requested them toward the end of the meal despite other meats coming out multiple times. If a meat option is advertised it should be in the rotation and not held in the back until someone asks for it. There were also many flies/gnats flying around our table. More the first visit, but present at both. Overall the food and service is good. Just request the lamb early if you want to see it more than once.

This review is of the all day happy hour at Fogo. It's absolutely amazing. The ambience of the restaurant is superb. The all day happy hour is in the bar area and the patio area. Both areas are really nice. Our bartender/waitress was Jordan. She was amazing. She was very attentive, gave many suggestions, brought extras for us to try and made the experience memorable. We will definitely be back. I had the cucumber mint splash cocktail. It was refreshing, strong, and very tasty. I can't wait to go back and try another cocktail. We tried the lobster and shrimp tacos and the lamb chops. The lobster and shrimp taco were delicious. The lamb chops were also very good. This is honestly one of the best happy hours in DFW metro!

The staff is always so welcoming when I come. I love the lighting and how comfortable it feels in there. The food has been consistently good and comes out in a timely manner.

Been here many many years ago and brought my customer here recently, a large group. The process of booking was very simple and the group sales was one of the most easy I've done. The have one of the most extensive salad bar options plenty of vegetarian options. To be honest I enjoyed it more than the meat option. I didn't take pictures of the meal without the people so I only took after the fact. Service was amazing and the customer had a great experience

As you can imagine, every time I drove past this restaurant on the way from Shabbat services, I kept telling myself that I would stop by and eat there. Well, today was the day. Fogo De Chao, located in North Irving, TX., Walking into this restaurant is like stepping into sure elegance, well maintained, very clean, neat well organized. Even the outdoor seating area was well organized. As we walked in we were promptly greeted by Mr. Oscar, the manager, with a great smile, welcoming demeanor, polite very efficient and he led us to our table. As he led us to our table he gave the impression that we were the only two customers that mattered the most. The atmosphere of this restaurant is mostly quiet, they have music playing but you can still carry a conversation without any problems. Our server was Mr. Maycol, very welcoming polite and extremely efficient. He took our drink order which we opted for water and we the full Churrasco @ $49.00 each. The young lady Ms. Sierra, the sweetest waitress, with the prettiest smile, polite, efficient and moved with grace and purpose brought us our drinks and was very attentive as well. I couldn't believe how expedient all there servers wereand moved with such grace and well organized. Mr. Khalil, server, and Mr. Jonathan, customer service representative, also stopped by our table and asked how we were enjoying our meal. Although we were not the only customers in this gorgeous restaurant they made us feel like we were. The food served here is top notch without question. Walking to the salad bar, in of it's self was a feast your eyes dancing from food item to food item neatly displayed. The chicken salad was utterly amazing and it was paired nicely with the lettuce, arugula, etc. Then the full array of meats started coming to our table, from lamb, beef rib, rib eye steak, chicken, and other meats I can't clearly remember as well as roasted cheese with honey it was so good you want to slap your momma. The beef rib, I highly recommend, the taste is unbelievable, I wasn't to keen in the taste of the lamb, but the rib eye, and other beef meats so delicious and very tender. Then came time for deserts, which we got a chocolate molten cake and side of blue belle vanilla ice cream for $13.00 and cheesecake brulee $12.25. Both desserts were truly amazing. From service to food all was amazing. Mr. Oscar, is a great manager it's indicative, in how his staff carried their selves very attentive, ready and willing to serve a great reflection of Mr. Oscar. I will come again, but in the meantime please stop on by. Say hello to Mr. Oscar and his fantabulous team. Ms. Sierra please keep on smiling.

We love Fogo! I often go to another location for work but this was my first time to the Irving location & my husbands first time ever. We went for his bday & he was in absolute heaven! The server started off really great. My husband got a drink he ended up not liking & the server didn't hesitate to offer something else. We got a pink cocktail (can't remember the name but it's fantastic). Downside is there are a lot of fruits & ice so we went through them fast & we didn't see our server much later into the meal so we didn't order more drinks. The salad bar was excellent as always. The bacon is so good it should be illegal. The salad options are always fresh & it's hard to hold back from getting a lot of everything. The meats are all good but my top choice is the house steak & my husband's was one of the lamb options. Some of the other options had less flavor but still good. They were so sweet & gave my husband a dessert for his bday. The tres leches is by far the best. I enjoy their other desserts but the tres leches left us speeches. If you just go for the dessert you won't be disappointed! The full experience of Fogo is amazing. I loved the intimacy of this location & looking forward to going back in the future.

This was such a lovely experience. Our server Destiny was beyond amazing. She treated us so good. Family of 7 and she was on top of it! Made this special night amazing as our son is about to married in a couple weeks and we were celebrating. Thankyou for such amazing service. She did us so good on the Brazilian bread as well . The food was very good and the (salad bar) which has hot items was wonderful probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. As for dessert it did not disappoint! I got the creme brûlée cheese cake and I'm sure I'll be gaining some pounds as I plan to eat every last bite. Large portion and tasted fresh! Thankyou you are all so wonderful!!! P.s having the Brazilian bread for breakfast

They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

The restaurant was practically empty, so we sat in the bar/lounge area. The host and other staff were friendly. Our waiter came off a little smug at first and barely cracked a smile. He honestly seemed a bit annoyed that he had to wait on us, which felt very unfriendly. My friend managed to get him to loosen up a bit as the night went on though, so maybe that's just his personality. To his credit, he was very informative when it came to the main course options. The lighting was dim and intimate. Ambiance was simple and modern. I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the beef Wellington. Honestly, after tasting my fish, he ended up enjoying my sea bass more than his own dish. The sea bass was like butter, just as the waiter described it. If fish could fall off the bone, this one would have. It came with rice, cashews, and a ginger miso sauce. The cashews added a really nice crunch and texture and the flavors worked really well together. I thoroughly enjoyed it as b the only downside was the portion size. Like a lot of nicer restaurants, you get one small piece of fish... about the size of my pinky finger. My friend's beef Wellington, on the other hand, was just okay. He didn't say it was bad, but it definitely didn't stand out, especially compared to the sea bass. We also ordered potatoes as a side and the white truffle Caesar salad. The salad was good and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. The potatoes were solid too and paired well with the meal. Dessert, unfortunately, was not it! We ordered the Wicked Sundae. Our waiter had actually recommended the banana pudding or the chocolate tart, but we decided to try something else. We probably should've taken his advice. The sundae tasted mostly like ice cream and was missing the main part of the dish -- the brownie. Nothing to run home about, and it also happened to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Definitely not worth it.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

We got a few appetizers, Hiramasa roll was incredible, the yellowtail tuna was fresh and the sushi rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Shishito peppers was perfectly charred. For main course, I got the lobster roll with a side of fries. The fries were cooked well with a nice hint of rosemary but the lobster roll was okay. The roll was toasted well but the lobster was underwhelming. It was bland. I wish there were also bigger pieces of lobster meat.
