Such a cute little restaurant tucked away on Main St in Lawrenceville near the Fire Station. Was there for a surprise birthday party. The staff did such an amazing job, they were on point, attentive & the bar tender from Poland was great, I'm not sure how to spell his name, but how many Polish bar tenders can they have? The appetizers tasted and looked terrific, from their beautifully laid out crudités, to shrimp screwers & crab cakes to name a few. They served a great field green salad with feta, they had chicken Marsala, mixed vegetables, a wonderful filet, with green beans & mashed potatoes that were all delicious. Dessert had an array of cakes, cookies & cannolis which were decadent. I am not a dessert eater but they had a shortbread cookie that had a caramel topping with chocolate & nuts which I think was the best cookie I've ever tasted. I ate two! I wish I had taken one for the road!!! Although this place isn't very close to me, I'd definitely use them if I need a caterer & I will definitely go for lunch or dinner if I'm out this way. Great place, nice decor, & although the bathroom is in a strange place, decorated so cutely & the candle they had in there smelled wonderful!

I was visiting the area for the Night Forma exhibits at Grounds For Sculpture and spent the day browsing the surrounding area's antique shops. One of the store owners recommend this restaurant for lunch. It had a relaxing atmosphere, and was fairly large inside. For such a small town, there seemed to be a constant flow of customers. The menu had variety and the type of foods my mom and I enjoy (soups, salads, sandwich, pasta). our server was excellent; he had a familiar accent which, after inquiring, we found out was Polish. My mom's side of the family is Polish so that was a pleasant surprise that added to our experience. We enjoyed our visit so much, we stopped back 5e next day to get lunch before heading home! I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and mom got the Vodka Rigatoni. We also got to try the soup of the day, which was a Manhattan clam chowder. I only had a a bit since I'm sensitive to tomatoes but it was excellent and really different not to drink all of the broth! Lots of pieces of clam and potato, very flavorful. My wrap was great, a large portion of chicken and it came with the side of the day (pasta salad one day and potato salad the next). Both sides were simple and tasty. My mom really enjoyed her large portion of pasta. It was cooked perfectly. We had actually gotten dresser first at the Gingered Peach, around the corner but hopefully can try a dessert here next time we are in the area.

The food was amazing! I think the arugula/asparagus/peas salad is the best I've had! The chicken piccata was tender and very tasty. I must go here again

I'm ashamed to say that living so close to this fantastic restaurant and never having gone before was a huge mistake. What a wonderful lunch we had! I had the quiche which came with a side of salad and the hubby had a salmon wrap with a side of pasta salad. Both were delicious. We'll be back!

Food was fabulous!!!!! This was my first restaurant to go to once outdoor dining was allowed and I was not disappointed. This was also my first time dining at Chambers Walk Cafe and I loved everything about it. The staff was so nice and when I asked for extra cheese for my pasta, I was given the most adorable espresso cup filled with Parmesan cheese! I highly recommend!!

It has a rustic farmhouse feel (wood floors with wide boards, multiple fireplaces) but still comes across as more upscale than your typical tavern. The dining room has a warm atmosphere without being too loud, so you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We started with the seasonal pickle plate (beets, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber, fennel, olives) and the bread plate (three different breads with two different butters and olive oil). Both were a good way to kick things off. The pickled vegetables had a nice variety and the bread was fresh and paired well with the accompaniments. For our entrees, my wife went with the homemade pasta while I chose the Wagyu NY strip steak cooked medium rare with bourbon maple glazed root vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor. The root vegetables added a nice sweetness that complemented the dish well. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. To finish the night, we had the mozzarella gelato (yes, you read that right - mozzarella), along with tea for my wife and coffee and Sambuca for me. The gelato was a unique dessert and a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress Jemma was very friendly and attentive throughout the night without being overbearing. Overall, everything was very good. This is definitely a place we would return to, especially for a nice dinner out.

For years I have been boring friends, family and anyone who would listen about the wretched state of service in the US, unfortunately made even more dismal by the pandemic. Well, I'm happy to report that service isn't dead, it's just lounging in the witness protection program at a place called the Perch at Peacock. Service here is as gracious and precise as a metronome and is a welcome respite from the current shambolic state of things on planet earth. And before I forget, the food... almost matching the service which is saying something. I absolutely loved the Restaurant Week Hangar Steak and Tomato Bisque with a finger sandwich of grilled cheese and lobster. Tastes that I'm unlikely to replicate as I return to the assorted diners and dives that are not privy to the safe harbor of witness protection and the unwashed remnants of the one percent. Damn. Everything they had looked delicious as well and we can actually hear the other people verbalizing how they were enjoying their meal. What we ordered: - Clemjito (Clementine, Mint, Soda, Lime) - Clem's Cup (Berries, Hibiscus, Ginger, Soda, Lemon) - Classic Caesar - Evengrow Sourdough Toast (Housemade Ricotta, Pistachio, Honey) - Pork Katsu (with Black Garlic Soy, Cabbage, Lime) - Viking Village Scallops (with Stewed Eggplant, Escarole, Yogurt) - NY Strip Steak (with Cauliflower Puree, Caramelized Onion Demi) - Grammy's Famous Orange Cake (with Vanilla Gelato) - Lemon Posset (with Blackberries, Sesame Crumble) - Clemmy's Chocolate Cake (with Tahini, Cherries, Whipped Cream) - Pavlova (with Blueberries, Miso Butterscotch, Whipped Cream) Service was great, the space is inviting. The menu is unique and the food truly is spectacular. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to all and hope to be back ourselves one day. The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.
