    Power salad with grilled chicken
    Jenn M.

Business lunch at Emily's Cafe...first time patron and I would definitely return. I chose the Power Salad and added Grilled Chicken. I was pleased with the portion size as well as the service. It's a smaller establishment but I liked the small, quaint feeling. My only request would be for them to add at least one gluten free dessert option to the menu.

We sat outside and ate fresh tasty panini sandwiches with a side of salad. The guys were friendly and the place was cute. Looking forward to the pecan bar.

best food ever!!! on the more expensive side but totally worth it. it is in a cute area but sometimes parking is hard. the place is so cute and has art everywhere that you could purchase. the staff is nice and consistent. the panini's are delish every. time. and they always come w a side salad. i usually ask for the dressing on the side cause they tend to put a lot. the cookies are amazing and the perfect dessert. highly recommend have been going there for a couple years now- so good and so worth it.

    Grilled chicken panini - DELICIOUS!

Solid five stars for Emily's Cafe. My mom took me here for lunch on a weeknight and there was not a single blemish with my experience. I enjoyed it so much that it was not long before we planned another lunch date at this cute café! The café is comfortable and cozy making it very easy to feel right at home. The staff was so friendly both times that I was there. Service was prompt and the panini I got was served hot and fresh. Speaking of the panini, I'm honestly still dreaming about it. I've had the chicken panini both times and it's one of the best ones I've ever had. It comes with grilled chicken, brie, arugula, and basil pesto. It is absolutely delicious and the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The multigrain bread I asked for as opposed to the focaccia bread was well toasted and the sandwich was oozing with brie from both the heat of the bread and from the grilled chicken. All of their paninis are served with a house salad that I also really enjoyed. Huge fan of the balsamic vinaigrette! Emily's Cafe is known for its outstanding catering so it's definitely on my radar for a future friend and family get together. Until then, I'll keep returning to the café for that panini!

Hidden gem in the heart of Pennington Boro!

Okay but food needs better seasoning and favor. The servers should be friendlier too.

During my recent visits, I noticed some inconsistencies in portion sizes. At first, I thought it might just be a one time thing, but today I had a chance to observe a few orders being prepared while waiting for my husband's smoothie. It seemed like some bowls were filled above the measuring line, while mine was slightly under. I completely understand that things can vary during busy times, but I just wanted to mention it as feedback. Consistency in portions would really help ensure all customers feel they're getting the same value. I'm sharing this with the intention of being helpful, as I do enjoy coming here and hope to continue supporting your business.

I enjoyed the vibe right away. It felt welcoming, and I could hear people around me enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. I only ordered coffee (there's just one size option), and it was good and hot -- although my lid was cracked. They do offer either a to-go cup or a mug if you're staying, which I liked. I do wish there were a few more small Danish or pastry options to grab with a coffee. Sometimes you just want a simple little something on the side. The only thing I was curious about was the music. Worship songs were playing the entire time. I wasn't sure if the owners are religious or if the staff just didn't realize what station was on. It's definitely a bold choice and might not resonate with everyone, depending on their beliefs. That said, it didn't ruin my visit -- just something I noticed. Overall, I'd return and would be happy to stop by again for another review soon. **After posting and reading other reviews... maybe I came (in the morning) at a bad time and there weren't pastries available?

Tables adorned with a cute little ceramic sugar dish, lovely tableware and fresh flowers. This place was designed with love and intention and it shows. From the lighting fixtures to the decor Flourish is both stylish and comfortable. The food is just as well thought out. Inspired by Eastern European flavors Flourish takes basic breakfast to an elevated experience. A bit pricy for daily breakfast but the flavors were a treat to experience. No pork products but the turkey sausage was just as satisfying and 4 long links in a side serving. I chose the garden skillet and swapped the over easy eggs for scrambled. He went for the Shakshuka. Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted. You aren't going to find over the top portions here, but the meals are satisfying and prepared with fresh quality ingredients. The berries on the Syrniki were huge, juicy and tasty. Flourish is not your daily breakfast spot but definitely one we recommend and will revisit on occasion.

It's cozy, cute, welcoming, and has a really unique menu! Firstly, the space: I walked in, looked around and immediately felt like I had just popped into someone's house. I mean, it IS basically a house turned cafe and I love that it still has the homey feel. There are big and small tables and even a couch. I loved that people were there having lunch alone, coffee with friends and even hunkered down with a laptop like myself. The team: So sweet! Let me know some recommendations, let me take my time looking at the menu and brought everything out to me when it was ready. I got an oat milk latte (my usual) and the Pearl sandwich. Both delicious. The coffee was hot and delicious and gave me the caffeine kick I needed. And The Pearl was more like avocado toast with smoked salmon, capers and some kind of sauce drizzled on top. Delicious! And a very generous portion. It made me think I need to absolutely get a jar of capers to add to my usual snacks at home. The rest of the menu looked equally as delicious and intriguing. If you are in the area looking for a casual lunch (think paper plates) you'll like it here. Enjoy!
