Agreed to a used engine swap but all the motors they would get came out bad, I don't even know where they source them but they ended up just rebuilding my motor. For months they gave me a run around about my car and gave me false dates not until 8-9 months later they finally told me my car was ready. Off the bat my car sounded like a tractor, my valves sounded really bad and I did tell them about it but they kept on insisting it since it was just rebuilt it should settle down but almost 12k miles later still has not settled down at all. Also my oil pan was leaking and my CEL came on before even making it home. Worst experience ever don't recommend this shop at all to anyone. They do really shady business and when I got the BAR involved the owner would never to be found and nobody seemed to know anything or where was so my case was dropped because he wouldn't corporate. Fuck this place take your care anywhere else but here. read more

Worst experience of my life,I've never been treated so badly by a so called business.. don't believe these reviews they're written by the employees. The owner rips you off. He'll sell you expensive parts for your vehicle to have you buy them and then install cheaper parts. The owner lies and says job will be done same day and then tell you it's going to take a week. Took my jeep here to get lifted, new shocks and new front and rear bumper​. Leave it there for a week and gives me back the jeep with basically the rear bumper and spare tire literally falling off the vehicle. The tire was literally falling off as I drove the vehicle off the lot of the shop. I was so scared the tired would fall off while drive I had to stop a few times. Gives me back the jeep with the break light crooked' with the license plate falling off, and the bumper not secure and rattling uncontrollably. the steering alignment is off and the jeep drives terrible. The car now moves towards the left... I keep trying to call the owner. He proceeded to brush me off for an entire week saying he would call me everyday and never call me. and he ends up getting mad at me and giving me attitude saying he doesn't like to be rushed and that he doesn't like that way I'm talking to him... I then asked for my old bumpers and license plate and old stock parts and I called them multiple times saying I want to pick them up. The lady in the front desk said "okay I'll make a list and tell them." I went to the shop to pick my stuff up and the people there didn't even know I was coming and didn't know where my parts are. They had to go look for them and guess where they were??? In the trash pile filthy covered in dirt and sand... I asked for my bolt tool and the guy gave me his because he couldn't find mine.... He charged for specific parts (dual stabilizer) and charged the installation and I found out he never installed the part in the jeep and I found out weeks later when I decided I wanted to replace the bumper. He only told me that the part never came and was backordered two weeks later because I was talking to him about purchasing more parts... He would of never told me unless I was buying more parts aka giving him more money... I was fed up at this point I am never going back never dealing business with these people I ended up going to a legit off road shop that deals with people with respect and a timely manner... They showed me everything they did wrong on the jeep and they pointed out all the cheap parts they used when they charged me for premium parts...Do not give this scumbag your hard earn money, he is a crook and tries to rip people off... I am now in the process and taking everything off that he did and re doing my whole vehicle... read more

Went here for a smog check. It was fairly quick. Like the prior review, $60 for everything. Pretty much the going rate around town. Was open later in the evening than most. Makes it nice for people that work all day. Would go higher with the stars, but there was a lack of professionalism. Answered the phone "hello". I had to ask if I called the right place. Was kind of a common theme. I really don't need a fancy shop, so it was fine. I do prefer a little more professionalism though, especially when entrusting my car for any kind of work. read more

The said "man in charge," wouldn't even consider helping me. I have kids, and these people just sat around snickering making jokes while the boss was both eye fucking this customer constantly adjusting himself, whilst smacking his gum repeatedly.. all while her car was getting fixed. This is unreasonable. Talk about being a "business", unprofessional, rude and downright ignorant and disrespectful.. Real nice, so inconsiderate and sick. You deserve to be exposed, on all platforms. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Champion was recently sold to a new owner who claims he is not responsible for work that was done by Joel even if that work is under warranty. I had extensive work done in January due to issues with a failure to pass a smog test. Joel had to order a part and in between waiting for the part to come in and my return to the shop for the installation, the shop changed ownership. The new owner had his desk employee tell me they don't honor the warranties since they are new owners. Stated I'm not the only one with that problem and intimated that Joel pulled a fast one on a lot of people. Not happy I left in a huff but called back to ask that they check with the parts department regarding the warranty only to have the owner tell me he didn't like my attitude and hung up on me twice! I have referred this to my attorney but beware of giving this place your business. read more

I have an older car that I LOVE. The poor car was abused by it's last owner, but still the car is strong. Since I bought the car, I have been fixing what was done with the car before I owned it. I was taking it to a national auto store, they took DAYS to fix the most simple of things. I found an ad in "Tidbits" and thought I would give them a try. I wanted to replace my rear shocks and they performed that task quickly!. I have caught up on my scheduled maintenance with Joel and his team, and this old car of mine has cold A/C, running smooth, strong and cool. I still have a laundry list of what I want to have done on my car, but Joel has been great in letting me know what can wait, and should be repaired, and most importantly why.
