When the S@*# hits the fan and we are in need is when some places will take advantage of a situation. 100% not the case with these guys. I live with my mom who is 71 and definitely should not be in this heat! Mid day yesterday my power went out, and it wasn't the whole street, just ours. The main breaker had completely failed and it was fried (old house). The first company that came out could tell I was in a bad situation and asked for a lot of money and assured me that it was fair. I'm not that kind of buyer and would rather let my food spoil than get put together by someone and get screwed. Fast forward to this morning, I found Champion Electric and connected with Richard who was the Account Manager I worked with and he was incredible from start to finish even though we never met. Damien was the technician who came to my house, picked up parts needed and performed the installation / repair. Overall, I paid half the price of what the other company was asking and with credibility, professionalism that Richard and Damien showed on the install, they've gained a customer for life and I will recommend any and all friends / family when they need an electrician. I even scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday to bring these guys out again hopefully to upgrade all outlets, install 3 ceiling fans in rooms that are not wired for it, and to hardwire my Ring Doorbell. So I found champion electric through an app ANJI. They were very quick to respond and schedule an appointment. They were even very upfront with the probable price based on my suspected problem. Nick arrived and was very professional and even considerate of my pets. He even took the time to look at and fix another small issue that I didn't disclose initially. Everything was fixed within probably 30 minutes. I will trust no other company with my electrical needs going forward. This was a very cool experience, especially if you consider the week I had. Champion Electric just finished installing some new GFI outlets by my backyard BBQ island that were no longer working. They also RE-wired an outside outlet on the advise of their rep Evan who came out for the initial inspection. He let me know the thin wire initially installed by a non-contractor when it was first done is a fire hazard. Not good! Thankfully Nick, the technician, fixed me up today and I have a piece of mind that the proper wiring is now powering my outdoor outlet. As a medical office during this pandemic, it's critical that we do everything we can to protect our patients while in the office. To that extent besides everything else we do, we needed to install UVC lights in each of our exam rooms. We were using a lamp but it gets too much for our nurses to move from room to room after each patient. We needed a better solution so we contacted Glenn Rowden of Champion Electric. He did the proper research and came up with a solution. Install the lights on our ceiling with a timer outside the rooms, on the wall. I had Champion Electric out to my place of employment on July 6, after a not so pleasant visit from OSHA on July 2, 2015. Evan worked on the safety issues which was addressed by OSHA on one of our "brakes". Not only did Evan fix the electrical issues on the machine itself but on the safety senors as well. Evan needed to order a part for the machine and kept me informed as to when he expected it to come in and when I could expect him out to install it. Evan arrived early Friday morning and installed the part and took the time to watch the machine in operation to make sure the safety "curtains" were still working as they should be which they were. I had a two breakers burn up on my control panel. My property management company sent out champion electric. The first day a guy came out to do an assessment only. He told me that he would not be able to fix anything because he could not go into overtime. I was left without power and a refrigerator full of perishables . On day two the tech showed up an 1 and half Late. I was told he would be at my place between 7 to 8 and it was almost 10 when showed up. He left almost right away in search of the breaker which i was told were not made anymore. When he came back he installed the breakers and took off to lunch before restoring my power. When he did come back he tested quick he concluded that everything was working. He took off before putting together a ceiling fan that the tech had disassembled the day before. When I called his supervisor he told me that the technician could not go into overtime. This company seems more concerned with saving on labor then with the customers and their needs. The supervisor was extremely rude and made it sound like his technician coming back to reinstall the ceiling fan was more of a favor. I do not have control over who my property management company sends out for repairs but if it was my house I would definitely pass on Champion Electric. I ended up installing the fan myself. read more

Power was out in 1/4 of my house. My home warranty company setup an appointment with Champion. The electrician, Kellen, called 1.5 hrs ahead of our appt to see if I was available early! Of course I was and he came right over. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my explanation of what happened and went straight to work. First he found the problem, showed me what happened and then continued working to find what caused it so it won't happen again. It took some time and he went up and down a lot of stairs and just kept focused on the problem. Then wallah, he found it! Got it fixed, cleaned up and I've got power again!! In order to make my home more secure for my family, Evan--a technological wizard-- provided a creative plan utilizing a Ring flood light/camera for the driveway and a Ring doorbell for the front porch. He turned my home into a Smart House using the Wink Hub 2. Nick did a fantastic job installing the equipment; he was thorough and, patiently, answered all my questions. Then, Evan taught me how to set up the whole shebang on my i-phone. I had no idea that monitoring my house with motion-activated lights and video cameras could be so easy. We're very happy with the work Kevin did installing our living room ceiling fan and wall switch. The wall switch was quite a challenge because of the way our older house is built. Kevin was knowledgeable, patient and kept us informed what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself before he left. Evan had come over to look at our need and to give us an estimate.
