    PattyMelt
    Rhonda S.

For those not local, parking is limited. You'll have to find street parking. In this visit we tried the party melt, kids nuggets, and kids sliders. The sliders were good and freshly made. Although the bun was also good it was a bit big for the burger patty. A slice of pickle would be nice to have also. The nuggets were lightly battered and meaty. Now the patty melt could use a little work. Overall, it was completely dry, minus the 1000 island dressing. The meat was definitely overcooked, and I think it would be much better with American cheese versus the Swiss, which hardly melts. French fries, unfortunately were not fresh. They were warm as if they were put up under a light but not freshly made which was disappointing. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The music/TVs were up pretty loud. Will definitely give it another try for other menu items.

    White Roma Flatbread was delicious!

Overall had a great time watching the Padres game all while eating some delicious food! They had different games going on which was nice! If you love to watch sport games, come here. Great food and a lot of tv's with different sports and they also have board games! Definitely recommend! Will be coming back for sure! 10/10

    Amazing, cold beer

This place is great! We came for the cold beer and ended up trying the Champion Burger, it's wagyu beef and absolutely amazing. The happy hours prices are pretty stellar as well. Definitely worth checking out.

First off, the location is absolutely beautiful! Came to soft opening and enjoyed a delicious Southwest Cobb salad and spicy Tequila Lime wings which were better than I expected! The pricing is very great for portion size. the The Cobb salad hit the spot on this warm sunny day in SD. The service was excellent; my server was Tatiana and she was delightful, had a great smile and was so friendly. I left with a happy and full tummy. I will definitely recommended and send family and friends here. See ya again soon!

Affordable and nice, family-friendly breakfast next to the beach…read more Stopped by to have breakfast with my family of five, including 2 adults and 3 kids who eat like adults. There is parking on-site and on the street. You can enter the parking lot either through Sea Coast Drive or Imperial Beach Boulevard. We arrived at 9:30am on a Saturday and found plenty of open parking. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member and seated ourselves in the patio area. A server came over right away, took our drink order, and brought us menus. She refilled our drinks before they were empty and brought us boxes once she saw we were done. She was attentive and anticipated our needs. She was always friendly whenever she stopped by our table. My Denver omelet came with home fries and toast, for a small fee I substituted the toast for pancakes. The cheese on my Denver omelet was burned. I prefer the cheese to be melted and stretchy, as it adds flavor and texture to the omelet. The burned cheese took away from the overall flavor of the omelet. The home fries are always delicious - slightly crispy, well-seasoned, with sautéed bell peppers topped with queso fresco. The pancake was dry and didn't have much flavor. I've been here many times before, and the pancakes are always delicious. The breakfast sandwich was okay. The tomato was a bit overwhelming and made the sandwich slightly soggy. The breakfast burger was tasty and made just as ordered. The mini chocolate chip pancakes were really good, definitely on the sweet side. The portions are big and you will definitely have leftovers. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Both areas have many TVs showing different sporting events, making it a great place to watch a Padres game. Next time you are in Imperial Beach check this spot out, I will be back soon.

I mean, people totally still watch sports here of course and so do I, but what I mean is the space is bright and expansive, the location is lovely, and the monitors are ginormous. More importantly, the food and drinks are at least somewhat interesting. Not even sure if I've had hard kombucha before. I probably have, but I don't remember. These are largely light, sour, and fruity, which are the sort of alcohol I've been addicted to lately anyways. And they have cool fruits like dragonfruit and lychee. The bowls and fruit salad were what originally caught my eye. I was not feeling a berry salad, so I got a carne asada bowl, and it was delicious. The steak was soft and peppery, and the ratio of ingredients was well balanced. The hummus, kale, and salsas made for a fun Mediterranean flavor, and the basmati rice was fluffy and consistent. It's sad, but it's hard to find an Asian restaurant in town that makes a rice bowl this good.

The cheesy patty on rye bread was still delicious, and there were more fries than I could eat. Not much of a crowd except for the comics themselves, maybe 10-12 with a very entertaining host in between. All were good but many were hilarious including a first-timer. Fun vibe for sure, I would happily go again. I deducted one star because as a new guest, I asked the bartender if they had any special house cocktails. She seemed to hear the word special and thought I meant cheap. I said not necessarily cheap, but do you have any interesting house cocktails here. She said no, so I ordered something boring. Then I got the food menu which on the back had an entire list of house cocktails. But service overall was excellent.

I dont know if they changed ownership possibly, but this kind of (lack of) service is not going to fly with the general public. Its a shame. I use to love this place.

This was my first time dining at Coronado Brewing and besides having a blast with my buddies, my son and nephew joined us for blessed quality family time. My buddies are into breweries and drinking flights of the breweries' craft beer, so I know why my best friend of more than 5 decades chose this restaurant. I enjoyed my first time here because of the yummy food, having an excuse to visit Coronado, and our young Asian waitress Drea provided friendly and outstanding customer service. Coronado Brewing is located in beautiful, coastal Coronado, CA. It can be found on the far north end of Orange Avenue. The easiest way to get there would be to take the Coronado Bay Bridge or you can drive the Silver Strand. The restaurant is a short walk from Nicky Rottens, several steps from Saiko Sushi, it's just down from Coronado Hardware and Fire Station Venue, it's across from the Coronado Southern Baptist Church, and it's directly across from a market. Parking could be challenging because it's street parking, but Coronado is a safe neighborhood, so a short walk shouldn't be a problem. It's a popular eatery, which means you might have to wait to be seated. As you enter Coronado Brewing, you'll see how spacious it is with booth seating, bartop seating, and tabletop seating. There are framed pics of florals, booths decorated with coastal fauna, decorative lighting, ceiling fans, and a brick fire pit. I didn't think there were enough televisions to cheer on our Padres. Our waitress Drea was stellar, she had a vibrant personality, and she provided notable customer service. Unlike my buddies, I couldn't tell you the difference between craft beer or store bought beer, but my pals are craft beer aficionados. I can tell that my buddies really enjoyed the flights of craft beer they ordered from Coronado Brewing. If you're like my buddies, then I recommend you try out this restaurant. I joined my friends to catch up with them, support our Padres, bond with my family, and to try Coronado Brewing's food. Looking at their menu, pricing is reasonable and they serve the following: Pub Favorites, Tacos, Burgers & Sandwiches, Salads, Wood-Fired Pizzas, Main Courses, and Desserts. I had eaten a filling lunch, so I wasn't too hungry, but I did share a Nachos Borrachos, Fish & Chips, Meat Lover's Pizza, MooTime Ice Cream Cake, and a Brownie Sundae. The nachos borrachos were satisfying with its carnitas pulled pork over fresh tortilla chips, finger licking delish with its jalapeño beer-cheese, and just a tasty starter. I shared the fish and chips with my son, which had a tasty batter and I enjoyed the accompanying garlic fries. The meat lover's pizza had a good amount of protein, but I thought the crust could have been more firm. The ice cream cake and brownie sundae are must orders because they were decadent, there was an abundant amount of chocolate, and they were rich in flavor. I had a blessed time experiencing Coronado Brewing Company for the first time with some of my closest friends and my family. I really enjoyed what I ate, but I definitely need to experience their other entrees the next time we visit.

Our server was Chris and he was OUTSTANDING...very attentive and very friendly. Both managers visited our table several time to make sure we were good. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that what I had was just a bit underwhelming. We ordered the braised beef potstickers, california roll, and grilled and chilled shrimp for appetizers. The meat in the potstickers was very mushy. The california roll was decent. The grilled and chilled shrimp were fine. My husband had the filet - ordered medium well, served medium...the twice baked potato was very small and seemed to be overcooked. I had the lemon chicken entree - the taste was good, but was just a bit dry...it was served with fries, which was fine. The other couple ordered the skirt steak and the braised short ribs which they seemed to enjoy. My drink was amazing - the Amalfi Spritz. For dessert, we tried the butter cake...again, a bit underwhelming and not really good on flavor...I did taste the toffee and caramel, but the cake itself had no taste.
