We walked in to get our pups weighed and to figure out a rain jacket for our boy Flip Flop. SeKai, a wonderful sales associate came over to help out, especially with the re-hanging of the tried on jackets. Realizing that Flip Flop was acting anxious and asked us if we have ever tried a thunder vest. Ummm nope, thinking do they really work?? SeKai was pretty much no pressure, try it, if you like it get it if you don't no worries. So she helped put it on, and with in seconds my anxious pup is calm. Of course we got it! It's not the vest I am reviewing here of course, what I want to say is what a wonderful environment Mud Bay is, and how employees like SeKai make it that way. Our appreciation soars with the kindness, knowledge, and the love of animals we felt today. Thank you for making a difference in our fur babies life and thank you for taking the time to do so.

Last month she was diagnosed with an aggressive sarcoma (tumor) in her mouth and I went straight to this location for soft food for her and they were helpful and kind and took the time to pet Porsha and listen to her needs and help find solutions. We went back again when I could t get her to take her meds and got some pill pockets and bacon flavored fruit roll ups to hide her pills in. Again, they were so kind and helpful. We are helping our baby cross the rainbow bridge this weekend and we made one last stop to Mud Bay for her last couple of days food and treats and my daughter brought her in and the staff went above and beyond as always. She came home crying, so grateful for their kindness and the love they showed Porsha. I will always recommend this location and this company. On March 28, I placed an order with Petco after confirming all items were listed as available for same-day pickup or delivery. At checkout, I was then told one or more items were suddenly unavailable and would need to be shipped, despite still showing as in stock. As a 100% service-connected disabled veteran with mobility limitations, I don't use delivery for convenience, I use it when it's necessary. I have a service dog and multiple cats, and this order (over $250) was meant to cover an entire month of food and supplies. On a fixed disability income, that's not a small purchase. Delivery was estimated at three days. I allowed for standard delays. But by day six, the order hadn't even been picked up by the carrier. I reached out to Petco and went through multiple rounds of emails over several days. Each response was vague, with no real answers and no attempt to resolve the issue, just repeated statements that they would "look into it." No replacement. No escalation. No solution. Ultimately, I had to resolve it myself by canceling the order on April 7. Because of this delay, I had to go back out and purchase additional pet food while still waiting for answers, something I was specifically trying to avoid due to mobility limitations. And now I must wait 10 business days for a refund to go purchase my original items. The refund issued also did not match the full value of the missing items. My request included four items, but Petco's response referenced only three SKUs, leaving part of the order unaccounted for. Petco often promotes its support for veterans. That support was not reflected here. What makes this more frustrating is that it's not an isolated incident. I've experienced similar shipping and fulfillment issues with Petco before. And like many people, I sometimes end up going back, not because the service is reliable, but because options are limited. That's the reality with large corporations, sometimes they're the only choice, and you hope the experience will be different next time. This time, it wasn't. At a minimum, companies that position themselves around service and support should be able to follow through on basic order fulfillment, or take accountability when they don't.

The owners are a charming lovely couple with warm friendly personalities. I had my French bulldog puppy and adult frenchie with me and they spoiled them with their favorite freeze dried raw treats. They sent me home with of the treat samples for my pets and food samples for my moms dogs. If there's something you need they can order for you. I had my arms full with the puppy and one of their workers even helped carry the heavy dog food to my car. Please shop local!
