Javier and his team are terrific! I was referred to Javier by Steve Cedarquist from Flip or Flip. He had done work for me before he started with Tarek and Christina. He told me he sold his company to focus on design and other projects but he highly recommended Javier. Apparently Javier also worked on the show. During the last bad rain, a leak I had before I closed on my new house came back with a vengeance! Supposedly it was repaired prior to closing, but clearly this was not the case. As the rain poured into my office through the ceiling and windows and through to the lower level kitchen and dining area, I was freaking out! Javier came right over, covered the entire affected section with plastic until his team could repair. Thankfully we didn't have further rain but if we did, the house was protected. Within 2 weeks from the first phone call, the job was completed. The Champion crew were all on time, friendly, they cleaned up and the price was fair. I was referred to Champion by my best friend because they did some work for him a few years back and he really loved their work. Since getting Champion's number from my friend, I have tried calling numerous times during their business hours only to get the message that says to call back during business hours. They also mention an off-hours phone number to call. Calling that number has only taken me to a voicemail as well. I have also sent them multiple emails. After over a week of trying, I finally got a call by Ruben who scheduled Javier to come to my property on 9/15/2021. He said they would be there between 12-4 PM. No one ever showed up. Not only that, no one ever called me to confirm whether they were coming or not. I have tried calling them since morning with absolutely no response. Seeing these 5 star reviews and considering the fact that these guys were referred by my best friend, I'm guessing they probably do good work, but I guess I'll never know because apparently, they have no means of communication. Our 1950's home needed a new roof really bad. We compiled a list of licensed roofers that serviced Ontario and received quotes from 4. Champion Weatherproofing was the only one to respond quickly, show up for the estimate walk through right on time and gave us a thorough estimate complete with before photos. For these reasons, they were the company we selected. A bonus was they were also one of the best priced. During the work, they showed up right on time again and cleaned up everyday. Upon completion, they provided another report with completion photos. The work took 2 days. Adriana and the entire staff were A-class professionals from start to finish. The time had come for me to get a new roof so a couple months back on the advice of my contractors, I hired Champion Weatherproofing to do the job. I had previously met with a few roofers on my own without my contractor's knowledge and I never realized how hiring roofers isn't necessarily a simple task. I met with people whose prices were all over the place. I had one guy come out and all he did was stand at my driveway in front of my house and immediately gave me a price. Never went up to the roof to take measurements or inspect. This left a bad taste in my mouth as I felt like they wanted to scam me. After a few, I met with Champion Weatherproofing, specifically with Javier. Javier was extremely thorough. He went up on the roof, took measurements and asked me about my concerns and all the questions that I had of which I had many. He probably spent about an hour with me going through my questions and concerns and ensuring that I was at ease with the process. The next day I got the quote, so he was super-fast and efficient about it. The quote was not the cheapest, but it wasn't the highest that I had received either. The price was reasonable and totally fair, so I hired them. The one unknown was that they didn't really know if there was any wood rot or damage that needed to be replaced until the existing roof came off. I completely understood this, obviously. Of course, this would come at an additional cost and he was totally up front and honest with me about this, so I was totally comfortable with it. Within a week and a half and after pulling the permits which Javier did himself, the work started on my house and in a matter of a few days they were done. The crew that worked on my house were great. They were very efficient and thorough, and I really appreciated that they cleaned up at the end of each work day. They picked up all nails and scraps and really did a great job of this. Throughout the entire process Javier would come over every day to inspect and meet with me and ensure that I was satisfied and my concerns were met. He was really fantastic and overall just a nice guy. Once the job was completed, we did our final walk through and there was an issue with the wood on a portion of my eaves that I had previously addressed with him. This ended up being a miscommunication on my end, but Javier was so professional that he offered to replace the wood in question at no extra cost to me. He said they would pick up the tab on that and do what they had to do so that I was satisfied, again, at no additional cost to me. Mind you the job and roof had already been completed so this would have been a rather large deal to do this. At that moment, I knew I had hired the right people to do my roof. Here I am a couple months later and after probably the rainiest winter in California that I can remember my roof is phenomenal and not a single issue. I love my charcoal colored, cool roof with ohagin vents. My new roof looks so beautiful that several of my neighbors came by to praise how gorgeous it looks and questioning how much I paid as they too are interested. If I do say so myself, I'm now the envy of my block having the most beautiful roof. Since completion a couple months back, Javier has called me to check in on me and ensure that my roof was holding up fine considering all the rain we've had and to ask me if I was still satisfied and letting me know that if I have any future questions, concerns or issues that he will take care of me and make sure I'm happy. Javier is the man! A genuinely nice guy who really wanted me to be satisfied and happy with Champion Weatherproofing and the work they did. Don't bother wasting your time! I wish I could give them zero stars! This company is a joke!! They were scheduled by our property management to do a simple task of putting up a tarp on the ceiling due to a leak from a busted water pipe. In a 3-week period, I had to schedule 4 appointments for them to finally come out. Out of those 4 appointments made, they were a No-Show to 3 of them! Not a courtesy phone call or any apology, nada. The day they finally graced us with their presence, they were late and rang our door bell multiple times in a matter of a minute (might I add, I have 4 small children who were sleeping). I expressed my concern to our property management so hopefully they don't ever contract these A-holes with no etiquette or people skills whatsoever. read more

Selecting a roofing company is quite difficult and I did my fair share of shopping around. This company was the most reasonably priced and they didn't cut corners. My house was built in the 70s so when they removed the layer of shingles on my house there was quite a bit of wood that needed to be replaced which made the job more extensive. In the middle of the week it rained as well, they covered my roof with plastic to protect it promptly. A week later my roof looks fantastic. Lastly the crew did a really good job of cleaning after themselves, every day they went around checking for nails and picking up debris. I'm very happy with the job. read more

We were very pleased with the work. My recommendation for customers to make the process go smoothly is to write down what you are looking for in a word document or email and try to choose colors and styles ahead of time to speed up the process. Javier is easy to get in touch with. The price is not the cheapest (nor should it be) and not the most expensive (compared to quotes received by friends and neighbors). This company is a joke. They wanted to change my skylight when it was raining. They did that to my neighbor then charged her extra for not finishing the job. Then I told them they had to reschedule I wasn't gonna get charged extra. Then they call on a Saturday saying they were gonna come never did. OMG its been three weeks later and still have not heard from these people. I am looking to get another company to change my skylight and complaining to my association about them. read more

Worse weather proofing company ever!!!! You get what you pay for, u want cheap and the workers to treat your property like shit, this is the company for you!!! They came by my house a few weeks ago to do an expection about a leak on my patio roof. They said it's just a quick fix to cover the hole. So they call me 2 weeks later saying there on the way should only be bout an hr of work. Get home 4 hrs later there still there but now my front yard is a complete mess, they backed there truck to close to my house, they didn't cover any of my outdoor furniture, my pool table was covered in dust & debris, nails all over the floor, and the worst part was my TV satellite was hanging off the roof from the cable wire. Just hanging there! Could have damaged it. Then when I confronted them about it not one of them spoke any English. Damn are u serious. Finally they got the jest of what I was saying and they said "call me boss" lol and I did but the coward wouldn't answer. So point is..... horrible service. Pay a little more to get professionals. read more
