This is my second time eating at this Restaurant the first when they first open so I excused that it was horrible a year later I try it again I ordered a large turkey tips and link combo when I tell you it taste horrible it made me sick to my stomach that was $26 wasted you pay $26 for a meal that you can't even eat the meat was dry there was barely any sauce they don't even give you bread for meal that cost $26 needless to say I threw the whole meal away and prayed all night that I could throw up the pieces that I did eat. My husband and I went there on Saturday, 2/25/17. We ordered a medium pork links and I ordered half slab of Baby Back Ribs. Got home and they gave me St. Louis Ribs. I called and asked for the Manager, (Juanita), who is the Owner and she said the next time I come to ask for her and she will make it right. I work near by and was eating here often. When I first starting going there the food was great, thw service was good and the portion sizes was great. I try to call in my order and the young girl takes the phone off the hook so no one answers, the portions are inconsistent (my coworker and I ordered the same thing and one order had more ribs than the other and one had less fries). I ordered today and got a mini tip, the tips were tough and barely had any sauce and I had exactly 15 French fries and the customer service is horrible, part of the problem in my opinion is that they have a bunch of kids working there, maybe they need some adults in charge during the day. I'm taking a break from Champions 2 and hopefully they will correct the quality control and customer service. read more

This will be my last time At Champions II. Let me start off by saying that I normally will not patronage this restaurant on weekends as the portions are much smaller on the weekend but I really had a taste for BBQ so I walked in and placed an order (second mistake). The food was promised in 15 to 20 minutes received in 30 minutes with no apology until I made a big deal about it. I go out of my way to visit this establishment so I will not make that mistake again. I ordered a large tip and chicken combo for $25.17 (very high). They have really cut back. This is the first time that I could actually count the rib tips. For $25.17, I received 10 rib tips (large??really) and 6 wings (well, they got the wings right). Not to mention that they didn't say they were out of Cole slaw and failed to offer a replacement or discount. I was told the Cole slaw was free so they didn't have to replace it. I guess the Cole slaw isn't factored into that high price - but Cole slaw is listed on the menu (very poor customer service). I hope they enjoyed cheating me and wasting my time. This isn't the same restaurant as in the past so keep driving. I'll gladly give my money to BBQ and Soul in country club hills. read more

I'm not giving any stars referencing the large catfish meal for $16, I just got off work and had no time to cook. The badder came off first.... I ask for crispy fries they were lukewarm and we're not crispy at all, like they made the fries first then made the fish because the fish was very hot. They put the fish directly on top of the fries without any paper separating them so that the fries can absorb the oil from the fish...This is why I cook at home, the quality of food items these days are below satisfaction. $16 catfish fillet meals I should have went to a sharks or JJ's instead. read more

This place sucks. Went for the first time as I was tempted for rib tips. Ordered rib slab and rib tips and half barbs chicken. Boy what a big mistake as when I arrived home the rib tips were still pink and hard as hell to chew. It was so disgusting. Rib slab was a sale and no wonder, they were dry and no way near would meat slide right off the bone! This was my first and last to go there!!!! Wish I would have gone to get my money back. Chicken was just ok. Coleslaw was too sweet. I spent about $44. I really should have went to get a bucket of chicken at Popeyes. I just don't see how this place can survive with rib tips like this. The only thing I liked were the fries and two slices of cake that of course not made from there. This place is just no good! Tips are very meaty and tender. The mild sauce is everything. HOWEVER, the Mac & Cheese is thee best I've tasted at any style restaurant, hands down. Only thing is it's a bit pricier then other rib joints read more

GREAT BBQ!! I had the rib tips with wings and they knocked it out the park! The meat was so tender and juicy and the sauce was awesome! So many places have tips that are almost all fat! If I could I would give them a zero for POOR customer service. I placed an order for 6 wings fried hard and this was not what I received. Not only did I nor receive what I paid for the order was a wing short. I called back and was told there was no one in management but the person that answered the phone would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. Well no one called me so I called back. When they answer the phone no one gives you their name. So I spoke with a young lady and told her what had happened shed apologized and told me that I could come in and get the one wing I was short. I said excuse me she said that she could not give me another 6 wings she could only replace the one wing that was missing. I told her my order was not prepared properly to begin with. She said there was nothing else that she could do and told me to have a good day and hung up. This is not how you treat a paying customer. I try to support local businesses but I will NEVER step a foot in this restaurant and purchase nothing. last night at 9:20 pm i ordered large tip and small tip chopped small and requested 3 times to make sure because my mother has know teeth. when got home was disappointed and angry,the tips were chop up the size of my fist ,and tough to chew. if they were still open last night that bull would of been return $27.30 wasted. when it took 20 min. to get i knew was going to to problem. tried to get to uncle johns in homewood but closed at 9:00. the best turkey tips and tips and ribs you can taste. first impression is last,they wont recieve my business anymore momma with no teeth read more
