They have new games on the shelves every day, so if you don't see something you want come back another day! I've only ever bought games here (never traded in games) and their prices are fair! Less than GameStop and about the same as eBay, but I like buying here more than eBay because I know for sure the games are actually tested lol. I have bought some plushies and if you want Pikmin, Animal Crossing, or Kirby I know they have a lot of those. Overall if you like actually owning physical games, I recommend coming here! My girlfriend loved it too since they had plenty of cute stuff for her to look at, like keychains and Smiskis, so there was something for both of us to enjoy. The staff were also incredibly chill. We accidentally stayed past closing by about 10 minutes. I kept apologizing and telling the employee I'd get out as quickly as possible, and he genuinely didn't seem bothered at all. I really appreciated that about trip there. The ONLY thing that I would like to see some improvement on is I had difficulty getting the price stickers off in one piece. However, the rare and expensive games in the glass cases, they put the price on top of a sticky note instead of directly on the case, which protects them from that issue. So I really can't even complain about the stickers on the other common stuff, when they're going out of their way for the stuff that actually matters like that. Overall, definitely one of the better (or possibly best) game stores I've been to, especially if you're looking for rarer games. Great selection, cool stuff, awesome environment, and chill staff.

Most of the new vinyl selection will be of movie and video game OST, with a slight focus on Japanese anime and music (Japanese electronic, jazz, etc). The old vinyl selection will have a mix of eclectic and obscure bands as well as a few more mainstream/popular albums, and prices are fair. Just don't expect to find the latest pop release here. I've picked up a few vintage records here, and they all played perfectly without noise. It's always fun to visit to discover some oldies, and they are constantly stocking new items. Also, one of the staff let me know Al is named after the owner's dog (so cute and it's the logo of the store too!). I believe they also own HIFI LOFI across the street, which you should definitely check out as well.

We walked in the front door and there were groups of people playing board games and video games. Not a single person looked up to greet us, or even acknowledge us. They continued to play their games and ignored us. We stood there for a few minutes waiting to see if anyone would even LOOK in our direction to no avail. We looked around, didn't see many board games for sale, still not a single person said hello. I looked at him, he looked at me, and we promptly left. I will never go here again. I have never in my life walked into a game store and felt so unwelcome! It's great to have a place to play games and all that jazz, but I really think the employees should be able to stop playing a game for a moment and work on at least saying hello to their customers... One of the screws on the back was stripped so I wasn't able to get the panel off myself to try to fix it. But they were able to work around it. They also replaced the cracked circle pad pro nub without me even asking! The one thing I would suggest for improvement is that they don't communicate well. They are very friendly and made me feel confident that they could fix my issue. However, when I brought my unit in they told me they would let me know after 3-4 days what the total price would be as well as what they would have to do to fix it. After 8 days I called myself and they told me they would call me back later that day. 3 days later I still hadn't heard anything had to call them back again to get an answer. This cycle happened 2 or 3 more times before I figured out that they are more likely to reply to text messages. They also forgot to put 2 of the screw covers back when they repaired my console. After contacting them they said that they would ship them out to my house. It's been over two months and I've contacted them twice about it, but nothing has come of it. The communication and lack of following up when they would say they would is the only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I would totally recommend this business. They also have a lot of rare and obscure video games and accessories. Such as, did you know that a sewing machine was made that could pair to a gameboy color? Well I didn't, they have one!

I initially found out about this store thanks for Google Maps (Sorry Yelp) and scrolling through the reviews on there I saw one mentioning controller repair. A major headache for modern day gaming with buttons that stick, stick drift and triggers that wear out among other issues. This is a nagging problem since controllers run for $50-60 now, basically the cost of a game. I brought in a controller for them to look at. It turns out they don't really work on 3rd party controllers or if they do, the amounts they charge will far exceed the cost of simply replacing it. While browsing the store I happened upon a game that is quite rare presently and commands a high cost on Ebay, Amazon and even Facebook Marketplace for sellers aware of it's rarity. In addition to this it's part of my quest to preserve physical media since it is no longer available digitally and if it was it would likely be a high cost. I grabbed it right away for a fair price, not the sweetest deal but I was able to hold it in my hands and know the condition of it, another part of in person shopping I prefer over online.
