I found my new threading spot! Since I moved, I have only visited one other threading spot in town and it's about 10 minutes away, while Chandni is less than 5 minutes away for me. I was hesitant to go because I had seen bad reviews but I was in a time crunch this past weekend so I decided to bite the bullet and just go. First impression when walking in was how clean and inviting it was. They have an iPad to sign in and there were four people working when I went. The wait wasn't long at all and I could tell everyone was taking their time with the threading process. I'm VERY picky about how my brows are done and am specific about how I like them done. I told my lady that I only want it cleaned up and to ignore the spots with missing hair as I fill that in. She listened to everything I said and nailed it. My eyebrows haven't looked this good (shape wise) since I moved. She took her time to even everything out and really made sure everything was cleaned up nicely. It's $7 for eyebrows and that's the perfect price for the service you're getting. So glad I found this spot and hope the quality of work stays consistent! read more

This review is only for waxing services. I highly recommend this place to my friends because Charlene does great waxing. She makes sure the client feels comfortable and they are satisfied with the service, without causing any pain (or least pain for those extra-sensitive ones!) I mean if you go to a nail spa to get your waxing done, do your skin a favor and try this place instead.. You won't go back to a nail spa for waxing again :) I've heard she does great facials too - maybe I gotta try 'em sometime. Threading and Waxing Services I go to Chandni's three times a month, twice to get threading, got to keep the eyebrows looking sharp and once a month for bikini waxing. All the ladies who do threading are amazing and skilled, as I have the perfect shape to my eyebrows I can just tell them to do a clean up and they do a marvelous job without going to thin (which by the way ladies the thinner your eyebrows the older it makes you look). In regards to waxing, I only see Charlene. She is the BEST! I would not go to anyone else. If she goes, I go, that's how good of a job Charlene does. She takes her time and is thorough. And let's face it ladies your nether regions are sensitive and you have to take extreme care when handling. I have also had facials and hair treatment by Charlene and she does a great job with those too. I am getting ready to schedule my next facial with her again. read more

This rating is for waxing by Charlene. She is an excellent aesthetician. She is extremely professional when doing what she does and at the same time very empathetic. She knows how to take the pain away from waxing doesn't matter where it is. She is quick and her judgement to keep pain away is just perfect! Was in and out in 15 minutes! I walked in, signed in and waited for someone to assist me. Shabana (sp?) greeted me and told me to sit at her chair. I was there to get my eyebrows and upper lips threaded and she did it in a breeze and the entire process was quite painless. At the end when I checked in the mirror I was quite happy since she had threaded every single hair out. The only reason I'm taking a star out is because they charge you an extra $1 if you pay with a credit card for anything less than $15. I think that's pretty silly but the quality of service is so good the $1 won't stop me from going back again or I'll just have to remember to take cash next time. read more

I have been coming here for ages but the last few times I have been more than disappointed. Usually I'm a fan of their in-and-out service but my last few encounters have ended badly; I left with scabs under my eyebrows and skin missing from my upper lip from harsh pulling during the threading process. I had a visible scar on my lip for a few weeks after. The manager tried to remedy the situation by offering a compensatory threading session by her, but when I came in for it she asserted the skin damage was not their fault and did not want to cover the lip threading that was initially part of my incentive to come back. After some debate that one time threading was compensated for, but needless to say I've found a new place for threading now. read more

I'm so upset writing this review just because this has always been my go-to place for YEARS. But, my last visit will be the last time I ever come here. They completely messed up my eyebrows, they over did it and made them uneven and thin which I'm destroyed about. I now have to grow them out and I plan to go to a professional this time. Who will take the time to look at my eyebrow shape and make sure they are perfect. I'm so upset because like I said I have religiously praised this place for years because not only were they good but they were a bang for your buck. Terrible and likely racist. I arrived at 7:59 and they close at 8. I was told that I wouldn't be serviced. When I shared with them what time it was, one of the ladies told me it took 10 minutes to do brows. Being a business owner myself and aware that I was saved by the one minute bell, I find it disturbing that I'd be refused service because their closed sign time of 8pm. Apparently, 8pm secretly means arrive 10 minutes earlier 7:50pm or be the right color or nationality. I'll never spend money at this establishment and for those that care about how they treat others---I'd forego spending my money at Chandi's Spa as well. Lastly, Charlene was a class act in making sure that she never made eye contact as I waited, was thereafter rejected and she happily welcomed the review I promised to leave. To be honest, one of the ladies had enough sense and customer service etiquette/ decency to offer to do my brows after the exchange. I proudly refused as I'm against spending my funds where I'm not respected or appreciated. read more

Chandi's is the only place I've ever gotten my brows done. I've been coming to this location for the past 4 years and have always enjoyed the results. I grew my eyebrows out for a month so I could have thick and nicely done eyebrows--they were by no means thin and could easily have been done by a trained employee. When I came into the salon this time, one of the ladies seemed very uninterested at work. While working on another customer's brows, she began discarding the used thread into her hair instead of throwing it away. This should've been a BIG red flag for me. But I've always had faith in the establishment and waited to get my brows done still. When the customer before me paid and left, the lady responsible for doing my brows pretended I wasn't even there though the rest of the store was empty. It took some prompting by me for her to allow me to be seated. This is where the true terror begins. My already sparse eyebrows came out thinner than they have ever been and EXTREMELY uneven.The arch is different, the length is different, and even the thickness is different between the two brows. I've posted a photo on this page to make it easier to visualize what a poor job was done. When I told her how disappointed I was with the brows, I wasn't even given an apology and the lady seemed to be laughing. Thankfully, the other lady working in the shop saw was a terrible job was done and gave me a refund no questions asked. Chandi's has been a great place to go to, but the quality of the threading employees is deteriorating. I never review places, but I made an account and wrote this review just to express my disappointment and warn others of possible results. I've been going here for quite a while since it's the only threading place close to where I live. They've been doing an okay job for the most part, but at my most recent visit (about a week ago), the lady who did my eyebrows screwed up one eyebrow then had the audacity to blame it on me! Her excuse was that I told her to "just clean it up". Well, duh, exactly, that's all I asked for - just clean up the brows a bit - but she ended up taking too much out of that one eyebrow. She could have at least apologized but instead she kept making excuses around her mistake. I was very polite about the whole time, too, but I guess when someone knows they screwed up, no amount of reasoning or explaining will help. Finally learned my lesson. Not coming back! read more

I have gotten my eyebrows threaded before, and it was miserable. I literally had to go buy myself a shot of tequila when it was over because the pain was so intense. Today, I stopped into this place on a whim because my eyebrows were looking crazy, and the woman just started threading.. I was really nervous, but she was amazing! Worst hot oil massage here. I would never suggest anyone here . They charge 25$ for 25 minutes but no use they will be putting on music and scratch our head.The person who done massage for me has no idea what she was doing.she don't know how to do massage and she all the way applied too much of oil and the oil is literally so cold its not even warm. she applied and she did not massage my scalp then whats the point in going for hot oil massage if you don't know what you have to do. I did a last minute walk-in on a quiet Monday, so I was happy I only had one person in front of me. They did a terrific job threading my eyebrows, leaving them not too bushy and not too thin. The service was fast and efficient. Only thing weird I thought was that they did not automatically apply any rose water/aloe vera afterwards? They're not particularly chatty so I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but no pretentiousness is A-okay with me. (Given it was my first time there, the abruptness was a bit noticable though.) I have only gotten threading here and each time has been great. My eyebrow were a struggle and I had finally gotten them to grow but went to a different eyebrow spa across from Southpoint by best buy and they totally made them too thin and reversed over 5 or 6 months of growth. Horrible Experience. Last month I had an accident in the salon, the lady who did my waxing (hands) had burnt my hands and did not even bother to say sorry. When I called the owner to let her know...she responds very carelessly about applying the antibiotic cream. Its even more worse when the owner calls me and says yesterday that my skin tone is not good and her wax does not suit me anymore and I should try going somewhere else very rudely..... We have tons of options for Spa and Saloon services in Morrisville which are much more economic and better customer service. read more

I had previously reviewed Chandni's in Cary, but I tried this Morrisville location a few months ago since it's a tad closer to my house. Needless to say this is "my" eyebrow place! I love this location. The decor is more modern than the other place but that isn't what keeps me coming back - it's Preeti! (sp) She is my girl! I will wait as long as it takes for her to do my eyebrows. I have been to several of the other lovely ladies who all do a fabulous job - but Preeti just does my eyebrows perfectly!!!
