You can honestly smell the restaurant as you get closer to it because of the cumin and spices they use just entice you over. We got on the waitlist and got called to our table about 40 minutes later. The restaurant is very cozy and can only really seat about 80 people comfortably. It's beautifully decorated and the ambiance is bright and inviting. The wait staff was so helpful and acknowledged my kid and provided him plastic cutlery. You order on a tablet and can choose customization options from there. We ordered some skewers without any cumin so my kid could eat them. Some skewers come in a set (for example, one order of beef skewers has 10 in it). We ordered: chicken skewers (3-piece), grilled oysters (1-piece), snow beef skewers (12-piece), lamb skewers, a tornado potato, and the golden hot pot. Once you submit an order, things come out of the kitchen pretty quickly. It seems like they skimp on the meat on the skewers, but you can build a substantial meal from them! The golden hot pot was a surprise hit (my kid wanted to try it), made with fermented cabbage and filled with amazing meats, veggies and glass noodles. My kid loved the tornado potato and grilled oyster, and I loved the lamb skewers. We had leftovers to take home and enjoy the next day. They have $99 combos that include food, drinks and 3 hour karaoke. Since most of our party don't drink, we opted for Combo D which I think offered the most food and 4 sodas. Some packages included as much as 18 beers but reduce food options. They provided plates, utensils and cups. Inside the room, they also provided tambourines and disco balls for ambiance. The Chinese song selection is great but for someone who can read but not write, it can get hard to find songs. A few people in my party don't sing in Chinese and unfortunately, like other Chinese karaoke places didn't have a great selection of English songs so they had a hard time finding songs. They didn't even have Golden which is the the hype nowadays. Food that was part of our combo included cold wood ear cucumber mix (Spicy), a mixture of skewers which included beef, shrimp, lamb (but we substituted all for beef), fish tofu and others. Skewers were good. It was suppose to come with corn but they ran out so we substituted that with thousand year eggs and tofu. This dish was more on the bland side. It also came with fried buns and condensed milk (yum). Overall, this place is a great deal if you want to sing and eat at the same time.
