Channel Marker used to be a really nice place to go to. Over the months, the service has been getting worse. Servers are talking back to customers, getting visibly angry at the customer, if the food is served when it should never be. If you try to send it back, you get lectured and deserted by the server, because the server actually gets mad to have to accomadate the customer. Much of this seems to be caused because they short staff themselves, so the servers can get bigger tips. Overly drunk people continue to get served alcohol and it is all about money. These servers have been here for years, many hate their jobs, but that is all they can do in life to make a buck. Sure hope the owners let the servers know they are the first up for their customers and that this type of server abuse to the customers must stop, before the law gets involved. It has just been the worse experience. read more

Literally sitting here at a large table of people, waitress took everyone's drink and food order, straight up skipped me, and went on to our next table. Still sitting here watching people eat what honestly looks like some trash ass bar food with nothing in front of me. Probably just hit McDonalds, at least you'll get SOMETHING. read more

Great location, lots of space and good food! My husband and I eat here often when we stay at the best Western. The service is always fantastic! The servers are attentive even when busy. The food is decent for bar food and the portions are large. They have many choices on the menu in quite a few categories but lack on vegetarian options. The great location and great service keeps me coming back. But man, I really dislike drunken folk who creep into your space when there is so much room.... Be on the lookout! read more

Bartenders are awesome. Jimi and Bobby are friendly, are always ready to talk about sports and make a great cocktail. If you are looking for "Centerfold" waitresses you won't find them here but they have "great personalities"...they get prettier as you get to know them. Menu has a lot of options. There's a dinner special every night. My favorite is Taco Tuesday and Wednesday 2 for the price of 1 steak dinners. If you want pure protein, get the BBQ Pork (the hot mustard is REALLY HOT). I will often have just a plate of French fries with my Bud Light. Seahawk games are fun to watch at the Channel Marker as are other sporting events. A bunch of TV's and there are several video games to play. I give this a "Very High Hole-In-The-Wall/Dive Bar" rating. read more

Driving around On a Wednesday looking high and low for a place to dine with my mother in Edmonds! We had been dining all over throughout her visit at some meals leaving us somewhat sticker shocked for 2 Adults! We wandered into a brewery and was told all they had was "Liquid" food!We we're kindly referred to try Channel Marker at the adjacent parking lot! We were SO GLAD WE DID! We had the best 2 for 1 steak dinner, loaded baked potato, veggies and a great cold salad!!! All for $16.00! How can that be beat!!! So I had my favorite brew too!!! The VERY BEST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE EVER BY OUR WAITRESS!!! Will definitely go back!!! Strongly recommend a great find for me being a new resident of Edmonds, WA! read more

One of the best comfort food menus in edmonds with fun, friendly staff!!. I've been a patron at the previous and current location. The philly cheese steak is big enough for 2, but burger dip is one of my favorites. They have a great steak dinner special on Wednesday. I am always well taken care of. Beth was my server today and was wonderful, but Bobby,Jimmy, and the young lady with the adorable laugh are all great servers. I know there are a others I just dont know their names. Had one of the worst experiences today and sadly it's not the first. Tonight we went to hang out, shoot some pool, and relax.... Unfortunately they had two tables. One was broken and the other covered with cake and cookies. They were short handed.. But, after asking 3 times, and waiting 30 minutes to get the cue ball back, we have up... Asked for pull tabs... Was told it would be a minute. 30 minutes later... Nothing. Got yelled at by a British lady who, likely, had one to many. We left shortly after. First drink was good. We go here often and are always pleased with the food,drink,specials and service. I grew up locally in Edmonds so when old friends from school want a casual get together this has been our go to spot. This past weekend we had a planned reunion for our 40th. Everyone in attendance is from this area or still has extended family and friends here. I thought it was a great evening, staff was nice and accommodating. Everyone said they had a great time. But for some reason the manager felt differently. She called our organizer and basically criticized and complained and read him the riot act about our group being rude and everything under the sun. We had more spouses and members of other classes show up then expected and apparently she was extremely mad about that. There was still room for all their regular patrons and we all bought food and drink, and I didn't hear any complaints from any of the customers about the service, only now from her, the business owner! And then she told him we were never welcomed in there again!?! Unfortunately venues like this in Edmonds are few and far between, but I would highly suggest you consider other venues for group get togethers as this really put a damper on what was otherwise a great event. read more

i dont get all the hate towards the Marker. Its not pretentious or trendy. People dont dress up. People say hey to each other. Its not overpriced or filled with hipsters. Its a working mans, local pub. Bar food, inconsistent but its a great value. Send it back nicely. Order smart during the games. Wait staff is hard working, funny and know everyone by first name.For a bar after work on Tuesday (great trivia by the way) its exactly what I hope for. read more

Tried a new place for family dinner night. ...well adult family. ..no kids. ..21+only. They have daily specials, happy hours, pull tabs, video games, and several tv's playing multiple sports. As far as the venue itself. ...seems like a great place to meet up, have some drinks, hang out, maybe have an appetizer. We had 5 people, 3 of which ordered the halibut & tots special, 1 ordered the halibut dinner special, and one order the Cobb salad. As far as the quality/ style of food it reminded me more of a diner like Mitzel's, or Shari's. It was ok. Not fantastic. Would expect a little better seafood down at the waterfront. Tater tots are fabulous. Dinner salads are like bagged ice berg lettuce with tiny croutons, tomato, olives, in a small bowl (which isn't much different than Red Robin, or Denny's, etc. ...so it was fine. ..didn't expect more) The halibut dinner came with veggies and a baked potato. The baked potato was the best part. The fish was a little dry. The Cobb salad looked great and got a 2 thumbs up. Like I said. ..now being there, and seeing the place, I wouldn't have chosen it for family dinner, but will definitely go to hang out and have drinks. I would give a 5 star. But Val ruined it. Been going there for quite a long time. The bartending staff is awesome, aside from Val. Food is always good. Avoid Tuesday's and Friday's during lunch time. Val is terrible. She has a terrible attitude and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I could go on and on, but just take my word for it. Avoid Val at all costs. read more

The wait staff has been rude and I object to being called "baby". im embarassed to have ever brought my friends here. they didn't wait on my table for 20 minutes and the guy in the glasses i guess hes the owners son was rude to my friend . In town for work Ive eaten at this place twice. The first thing I ate was a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich that was overloaded with dry roast beef and 2 slices of cold Swiss Cheese, needless to say it wasn't what I was hoping for. The second time I visited to give it a second chance before I made my final opinion was for simple Taco Tuesday lunch. I was excited for the 3 hardshell chicken tacos I ordered but instead I received 3 soggy tacos stuffed with mushy, greasy and flavorless shredded chicken. I was pretty let down. I kinds liked the dark sports bar vibe they had going on but the service was so slow! We came here early for breakfast before the came after we walked our dogs. It was a spur of the moment decision to have breakfast before we went home to watch the game. When we got there there was plenty of tables and by the time we left it was packed. I think it would be a great place to stay and watch a game but it took almost an hour to get our food. They were either very understaffed for a game day or just really unorganized since tables that came in after us with larger parties were served food before us. Our server was nice, the food was good. Lots of tvs to watch the game. The only reason I am taking stars off is because of the long wait time for our food. read more

The WORST bartender I have ever encountered. We had a party of 25, a holiday party. Since the waitress was very busy two of us went straight to the bar to order beverages. One drink was a tequila sunrise. The other was a Moscow Mule. As she was mixing the drink, I asked her if she had just put bitters in the Moscow Mule. She said yes, what do you think a Moscow Mule is? I told her it's usually vodka, ginger beer and lime. She dumped it down the drain. I told her she didn't need to do that, and she replied that if I didn't like it her way she'd remake it. What she served us was undrinkable. Plus she charged me for the drink she dumped out. When we got back to the party everyone else had undrinkable cocktails. The waitress was nice and the appetizers were okay, so we ordered beers and wine after and left early. read more
