Updating my review as I was here last week for the first time in about a decade. All around 4 stars out of 5. They still have the chop chop salad which I really enjoy. Tried the prime rib for the first time which was spot on. My friend had their bacon cheeseburger which he devoured. We got the chocolate cake which was new on the menu - quite good. The chef stopped by to ask about the cake as I was the first he was aware of to have ordered it. He visited with us for a few minutes. Our server was sweet, fast and knowledgeable. The only thing about Scott's that I wish they could update would be remodeling the front due to the little room for people to wait for a table while the bussers and servers are moving constantly between the kitchen and host stand, which are side-by-side and a small distance from the only bar entrance. read more

I was skeptical going into this spot. The outside screamed old folks and alcoholics camped at the bar. Man was I wrong. Really solid cocktail Menu and an incredible happy hour full of great deals. We had the spicy marg, mojito, the buffalo wings and the calamari. The calamari was the weakest of what we tried, the buffalo wings were really good, though a tad too sweet. Got here as soon as it opened on Saturday at 10am. The servers were kind and quick to seat and serve us. Food was fantastic. I get biscuits every breakfast places I go and it compared well against the other spots I've been to. I do wish that the biscuit was thicker as it felt more like a loaf of bread than a biscuit but the gravy was fantastic. They also serve free bread and that was amazing too. The ambiance was great too. Such a cozy and friendly neighborhood spot! Strongly recommend. I dare to say it's worth driving up from downtown just to experience it. There's also big TVs in the bars where you can get a sneak peak from the booth area as well. Scott's has been a staple in our household over the years. We've enjoyed Thanksgiving meals, happy hours, brunch, lunch and dinner. They offer a nice variety and there's something for everyone. My favorites include crab dip with tortilla chips, French dip and the rigatoni pasta, which has a nice kick. When I'm craving crab dip, this is where I go! We recently went for happy hour and it seems the food has improved - the chopped salad was fresh and crisp, tortilla chips were fried to order. From start to finish our experience at Scott's was pretty amazing! The food was very tasty and for a Sunday morning we didn't have to wait long to be seated or for anything for that matter. Our server was prompt with checking in on us, getting us refills, and getting us condiments when needed. I was blown away by my experience today. As someone recently diagnosed with celiac, eating out is always a bit of a struggle -- and honestly, I don't think people realize how hard it can be. I usually try to keep a low profile about it so I don't cause any stress for the staff. I asked for gluten-free options, which my waiter graciously provided. But what truly elevated the experience was his awareness -- he recognized I had celiac without me even saying so, and had the kitchen prepare my meal separately. I didn't expect that. The chef even brought my food out personally, walked me through his process, and reassured me he'd done everything possible to prevent cross-contamination. I could cry. So kind. So thoughtful. Nice environment. Loved the warm garlic foccocia brought to the table. The French dip was ok; the flavor was a little dull. The turkey sandwich with cheese, bacon and avocado was great. Had it on 9-grain. The side ceasar was fine. The chicken and rice soup had no rice. When asked about it, the waitress went to ask. She learned the server needs to add the rice before serving. We have eaten here many times over the years and have always been happy with food, service and ambiance..... and complementary garlic bread!

The service was AMAZING! Everyone who worked there was super friendly.. (And when I say ALL the workers were friendly- they all were!) I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and it sounds simple- but it was super flavorful, filling and delicious! I also had a spicy prickly pear margarita which was SO FREAKING DELICIOUS! Definitely will be coming back for that! I was served by a waiter named Dimitar who was amazing! He answered my questions about the menu and gave me great recommendations! He always had a smile on and was super positive! I ate alone (because I work from home too much and needed to get away from my energetic 8-year old).. I know we were chatting and I think there was a special request for this action, but the food seemed to get delivered very slowly. Other than that, great service (Steve served us) and had consistent refilling of water glasses and a secondary helping of garlic bread. Menu was a varied single page of seafood, steak, salads and a couple burgers. The tasting sampler was ordered for the table and the crab artichoke dip was tasty, but rich. The teriyaki tenderloin was good. There was rice with it. Did not try the shrimp. For the main, my partner got a steak dish and shared her asparagus and it was a little crunchy for my taste, but no complaints on how meat was cooked or the mashed potatoes from her. I got the orched fig salad. There were two candied/caramelized halved figs with an argula salad. Overall didn't seem as large as the Caesar (which two others got as an app), but still tasty. This is a nice restaurant. The complimentary garlic bread they serve is VERY good. My husband ordered the scallops and he said they were cooked correctly and very good. He would definately order them again I ordered the Pre fix special. It gave choices and i ordered prime rib, with golden mashed potato, Ceasar salad and an ice cream sundae The salad was perfect, crispy and fresh. A very good and consistent restaurant with a large variety of food options to choose from. Today I opted for the french dip sandwich with french fries. I really liked having some horseradish on the side to add a little bit with each bite before I dunked it into the au jus. The sandwich was packed well with a good flavored roast beef. The bun was just the right size to soak in some of the au jus juice with each dip. I devoured the sandwich in no time. Delicious! The fries were nice and crisp. Happy hour today was great. Came here on a Friday afternoon. A lovely warm afternoon at 4 pm. As I entered, I loved the ambiance. Especially appreciating the open doors, suns and celebration of spring in Shoreline. Outside patio was full. Opted for happy hour in the lounge . Sat right on the perimeter table, between the restaurant and outside. Very busy. My waiter was great. He managed to serve many tables, while still paying attention to me. I observed Several patrons being quite rude to him, by Failing to ack his presence while on their phones. I really thought he tried hard, with the many requests from customers. I had the happy hour warm crab and artichoke dip, with crostini. Also a shrimp cocktail and pino Grigio. This really was a filling combination. The toasted cheese topping on the crab and artichoke dip gave a deeper cheese flavor, which I loved. The crispy crosinI was a flavorful and sturdy base for the creamy dip. I had a few bites of the shrimp cocktail on top and loved the combination of seafood flavors. Observed my waiter constantly carrying out trays of drinks. I thought the service had really improved since the last time I was here. Service here has been historically lacking in the past. So good to see a big improvement. read more

What a lil gem of a restaurant!!!! Went to lunch with some gals from my women's group, there were about 8 of us! What I loved first is that they didn't give us any flack for wanting to pay individually, but still were a big group and didn't put the stupid "Groups of 8 or more are charged a 25% fee"..HATE THAT! First..THE FOCCIA BREAD!! oh my Lanta!! warm with garlic butter seeping out of it, I think I had 6 pieces! I ordered the crap & artichoke sandwich and a Caesar salad, BOTH WERE PHENOMINAL!! The sandwich was just as you expected....warm with tons of crab and artichoke's in a creamy spread, then melted cheese on top, on toasted bread, YUM! My family has been going here for years. We went today for lunch since we were n the area. Today we sampled the following: Chili (soup of the day). Cup size. Good on a chilly rainy winter day. A dollop of sour cream, some cheese, and mild spices Rigatoni Bolognese. With Uli's Sausage, red peppers, parsley, cream sauce. A little spicy. Sauce thickens upon standing. I got the half portion. Fish and chips. Three pieces of fried fish with french fries and three dipping sauces. Pretty tasty and plenty for leftovers. Chicken Fettuccine. We got this to go as it was a favorite of my Dad's. First time eating a lunch meal here on Saturday. There weren't many people here, and the service was not super fast, but not super slow. I think our server was training so it might've been a little difficult for her to figure out some of the substitutions. The food was very good. It was kind of dark here in the middle of the day, and the music was a bit too energetic to really match the lighting, but it was OK. I had a small bowl of chicken soup of the day, which was pretty tasty, but kind of expensive for the size. We also shared a Teriyaki appetizer, which was more like a little serving of beef and rice. It was a bit chewy, but had good flavor. I ordered the chicken cutlets which were tasty, but I was kind of surprised to get mashed potatoes instead of diced potatoes. They were very flavorful, however, which was a good surprise. It also came with crispy and fresh green beans which were flavorful. I especially loved the focaccia garlic bread that we got at the beginning and in the middle of our meal. That was the best part of everything. I got a crème brûlée to share for dessert, and it was super tasty with a crispy caramel crust and some fresh fruit on top, which was nice. One of the people in our party had a problem with something on her plate, but it was nice that the chef came out specifically to talk to her and fixed whatever the problem was with a smile. I don't hand out five stars easily. This restaurant has a special place in my heart. When I moved here in 1984 my mother and I used to come here. She loved the tagliatelle pasta and I love the Romain blue cheese salad with shrimp. I have visited once or twice since. When I was married to my first husband, we had a restaurant and I came here to get good ideas on how to improve our menu. I have come back this evening with my dear friend hoping to find it still holds the same standards that I knew from the past I was not disappointed. The menu has changed a bit. The quality of the food has changed for the better. Beautiful interior. Courteous waitstaff. I am so happy to report that this is still an amazing restaurant. Been here a couple times in the past. Food is always good. Got there just as they opened at 11:30 AM. Waitress quickly took our drink orders but then it took nearly an hour before she came back to take our food order. Not a complaint since we were all talking- kind of a reunion sort of thing. I ordered a cheese burger without a bun (Keto) and a side salad. Husband had the soup and pea salad. We both liked what we ordered. Someone in the group ordered the fried calamari and beef tip teriyaki for the table. Both were excellent! The teriyaki came with rice which I don't eat, but others loved it. Towards the end someone ordered the key lime pie and the crème brûlée which was shared. I didn't taste either, but I know when I came in the past, the key lime pie was excellent. All had a good time. Kind of felt sorry for the waitress who was also serving another large group. We weren't in any hurry so it was all good. Will definitely return. read more

Wow, the quality here of just about everything has declined. Really disappointing overall. The Brunch menu on the weekend was very limited, and honestly underwhelming. I had the bacon+cheese omelette and it's about as basic as it could've gotten especially for the price they're asking. Everything else has WAY too much sugar or bread for me. The side choices are limited, I ended up opting for asparagus that was poorly prepared and was only 4 pieces. Super disappointing. The server was either very new, or very tired. He had basically no personality and didn't know the menu well or bar options. I don't know if it was just a personality mismatch with my group of friends but it was a rough interaction all around. He was also ... not fast. We waited WAY too long for our drinks, I didn't even want to bother with asking for a second one. Scott's used to be good, I honestly don't know what happened here but I think my group of friends will be considering other locations for brunch in the future. read more

Scott's Bar & Grill in Edmonds was one of the restaurants we frequented more when I was growing up compared to recent. It was one of those places that could have a very full parking lot and a relatively less crowded interior. The tables were spaced out in such a way to accommodate more people without feeling cramped. Food was consistently good, though the wait time could be a little on the longer side at times. One time stands out as it was less busy. The next time we came in it was busier and the food did not take as long, at least one of us ordered the same thing. A life lesson I suppose in that wait times can at times not be food nor crowd specific, just day specific. read more
