I just had another wonderful visit and felt it was high time, I let the rest of you know what a good experience I have at this office. My annual skin checks, sun spots, and moisturizing issues are handled so well by PA-C Sarah Wasser. Her assistants are always friendly and helpful as are the check in and out procedures. I also appreciate the office's clarity on costs and insurance coverage. The office has been cooperative when I've needed to reschedule. My mother died of skin cancer and Sarah has always been sensitive about my concerns. Thank you so much for your help, Sarah, and kudos to Dr Barnett for having such a great team. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Barnett for a few years. Her body check was always very quick but at my appointment in September 2025 it was AWFUL. She rushed through my body check and left the room. I forgot to show her my big toes since they were discolored. I immediately asked her assistant to have Dr. Barnett come back into the room to look at my toes and she refused to come back into the room. Her assistant told Dr. Barnett what it looked like and she assumed it was a fungus and her assistant gave me a script for medication without even looking at it herself. Obviously she did not do a full body check - if she did she would have seen my discolored toes. If she did not check my toes, what else did she not check??? When I called the office to explain my concerns I never even got a return phone call. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Barnett and will be seeking a new dermatologist. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been going to this practice for several years and found Dr. Barnett and her staff to be professional and compassionate. The office runs like a fine oiled machine, I have never had any problems with insurance issues or changing of appointments. Once checked in I appreciate that you are seen on time. When I originally started with practice I needed Mohs surgery which went very well and now go for my skin cancer screenings. I feel that Dr. Barnett and staff have a direct line of communication so I only have to tell my concerns once. I would highly recommend this practice for any dermatology needs. read more

Made my initial appt on Zoc doc for 4:30 pm. Was notified by the office that time was not available can we move it to 5:30pm. I said I couldn't make that time please cancel my appt. But then I saw on Zocdoc there was a 4:00pm. So I booked it. I drove over an hour to get to my spot on time. When I got there. They said there was no 4:00pm. That unfortunately the Zoc doc schedule is not accurate and they will not be able to honor my appt. What kind of service is this if I can count on my appointments. Are all my future appt going to be honored. then to add insult when I was upset with the front office. The office manager muttered self entitled. wtf! I have every right to be pissed off. The worst experience. I too sat in a torn paper towel waiting for my dr all to be seen for 7 minutes with her walking backwards as I was asking her questions I had waited months to ask her. She suggested I Use a cream from cvs and to come back in two weeks. What a joke! It was like pulling teeth to get anyone to return my calls or emails regarding my biopsy. This place is dirty and cold and treat people like numbers rather than with compassion and care.The office manager accused me of recording our conversation when I shared my concerns with her. read more

I had a terrible skin rash. I saw a nurse practitioner. I couldn't get to see her or talk to her and what she gave me the cream made it worse not better. I couldn't get in touch with the doctor. I've been a patient for almost 20 years. In the beginning, I would say Dr. Barnett was great - until she used a laser on too high of a setting and caused a scar I STILL HAVE on the left side of my eye. She admitted it and said she was sorry and it would heal. I trusted her, so I waited. It's been years, and I still have the scar. I could have sued her, but because of the relationship and the fact she said it would get better, I didn't. To add insult to injury, they billed me and reported it to my credit report for $50. It is the only thing on my credit report that is negative. I left several messages with their business office; they wouldn't write it off. I paid it, and it's STILL on my credit report. Maybe Dr. Barnett herself will read these and get your people to remove what appears to be a $50 collection that you all know I paid off my credit report. read more

I've been searching for a new dermatologist ever since I relocated to Florida. I found Dr. Barnett online and was impressed with what I read, so I decided to book. Scheduling was a breeze. I was running a rew minutes late, so I was relieved to see parking wasn't a hassle. Lots of spots. Inside, I was impressed with this practice in every way. The office is modern, clean and pleasant, the wait time was nearly zero and the staff couldn't be friendlier. My exam went well, and I appreciated how fast they worked. I went here for a hydra facial. I had bought this from an ruction that I went to- I went here and it was a little strange experience. They took me to a room in the back (3 people) and then said the room smelled from peel that they did before - so they asked me if I wanted to go to the next room which I said yes. What I thought was odd was that 3 people took me to the room- no one introduced themselves to me until I eventually asked what their names were-and then the machine didn't really work so she (Mandy) had to do part of the procedure manually. I've been going her for a few years and just progressively had worse and worse experiences. I've noticed a downturn since they moved into their bigger offices. Mandy was excellent, but the new aesthetician (I can't remember her name, but she's from Brazil) is the pits. She is impatient, has an attitude, and does not ask any questions - just charges ahead with telling you what you should do, without even asking what your current regimen includes. She made some snarky comments about Mandy, too, which I thought was inappropriate. After this last appointment, I've just decided to never go back. Too many issues. Tons of people working there, moving about, but it felt as though no one really cared. read more

By far the WORST dr office experience. Got a confirmation text AND a confirmation email about my appointment being at 2:45pm. Get there early. They tell me my appointment isn't until 3:10pm in their system. Didn't get taken back until 3:35pm then spent 20 minutes waiting in the freezing cold room wearing a paper towel. Then since I had been there over an hour I had to go to the bathroom. Get back and they say she skipped me and went into another room. Like she couldn't wait 2 minutes after I've been waiting for an hour and a half. Unbelievable. Save your time, go to another doctor. read more

Had an appointment on Monday. They sent over my prescription to the pharmacy. Now the pharmacy says that the Barnett needs to send an authorization to the insurance to get my prescription filled. Then, the dermatology practice is telling me that I need to contact the pharmacy so that they send the authorization form to the dermatology office. Why am I playing middle man between Barnett and the pharmacy? Barnett Dermatology refuses to just call my pharmacy and resolve these issues and instead places the burden on me. It's now end of day Wednesday. They obviously don't care about me as a patient. read more

I've had only positive experiences at this practice and have visited quite a few times. In fact Dr. Barnett has treated almost everyone in my family and I will continue to recommend her to both friends and family. She is super professional and thorough and I have had amazing results with her. Mandy is also wonderful and went above and beyond when I did a series of peels with her. She is very sweet and compassionate. I was very pleased with the results. The office is clean and the staff is friendly and efficient and I've never had to wait long to be seen. I am SO grateful for Dr. Barnett! She was able to completely get rid of all my adult acne is just one visit and effortlessly removed a cyst from my upper lip. I absolutely adore Dr. Barnett. Before I moved to LA I had Dr. Barnett do some Botox for me and some silicone lip fillers--this was 2 years ago and I STILL get compliments on how great and natural my lips look. I tell everyone I went to her and can't speak highly enough of her. I also appreciated her honesty regarding how plump my lips could be before they started to look unnatural and that she was able to give me the lips I always wanted.
