I vote for equal human rights for the LGBTQ community BUT I draw the line at changing what the Lord commands for his children and for the church. This is a church that has fallen victim to the blurring of the lines of morality due to social pressure. This church is not for me.

Yenmin was absolutely AMAZING! I did not expect to cry at all and the tears were FLOWINGGGGGG. She gave an option to do the ceremony in Spanish for my family and we did not expect that. Very professional and accommodating staff! The second Yenmin began to give the ceremony, I felt as if me and my husband were alone in the room getting ready to step into the next phase of our life. This experience was everything I could have imagined. Thank you so much!!!!

Anyways my boyfriend and i needed to get married since hes going to the marines and since we have a son together they told us to either get married or for him to apply as no dependents. My mom told me about thos place since she does her taxes here, and i thought hey not a bad idea ill give it a shot. When i call the person (javier) introduces himself and i said "hello my name is so and so and i was just calling to know about your marriage package or prices and mid sentence he cuts me off and says no you cant get married call later and hung up. I was really upset because yea i get that i cant get married right now but all i wanted was to know the prices of the packages so me and my boyfriend could get married if and when all this is over. But anyway dint waste your time with this human being. He's disrespectful and its obvious that he's just a close minded person.

He was also not only on time but was early too. The bounce house that I rented had an area that was a ball pit and the owner and his employee were very helpful in figuring out what to do concerning a safety issue. They were very professional and calm concerning my concerns with children possibly getting hurt with how the ball pit section wasn't cushioned. After trying to figure out what to do he even gave me a discount due to my concerns which was very kind. Overall I would rent from them again!

When I was first starting to look for a wedding venue I read tons of reviews to get an idea of what people liked the most and disliked so I was able to determine what was the best fit for me. Since some people don't like to read too much detail, here is my review of the Chapel of Orange for them (if you're like me and want more details, please keep reading down). The Chapel of Orange was an amazing venue to get married at! It has a tiny bit of vintage with some old town charm found in the middle of large city. From the moment I stepped foot into the chapel & met with Alyssa, I knew this was the place. I can't lie, the all-inclusive portion sealed the deal for me. Every vendor was amazing & if I had to do it all over again & had to pick each vendor individually I would choose them without hesitation! Do yourself a favor & at least schedule an appointment to see what they offer; you won't be disappointed! For those of you (mostly the brides-to-be), here is a little more detail about the Chapel of Orange that I hope will help. From start to finish, my wedding coordinator, Alyssa, fabulous! From the beginning, she was there to answer any & all of my questions and in detail. I wasn't just given quick answers because she was busy. She would take the time to explain things to me so I could envision all the things I wanted for my wedding. If there were questions that I had in regards to the vendors, she would contact them to get the answers. Towards the end when all the details were getting finalized, she was there through the whole process making sure everything was the way I wanted it. I know I couldn't have gotten through the wedding planning process without her. Alyssa is truly amazing! When I first started to planning, Alyssa sent me over samples from Ashley Paige Photography as she would be our photographer as part of the package. I fell in love with her work from the moment I saw it & I knew it was another reason I needed to book this place. I couldn't imagine getting pictures shot by anyone else. One of the things that impressed me the most was I had given Ashley a list of my "must shoot" photos. She had that list & made sure every one of them was taken before she left. The pictures turned out amazing & I got way more than I ever expected. I can't thank Ashley enough for all the beautiful photographic memories I'll have of my wedding! Also, as part of the package, I used the Chapel of Orange's cake & flower vendor. Great Dane Bakery was amazing! I had this vision of having a large cake with intricate flower details and when I showed them the picture of what I wanted, they knew exactly how to make it and it turned out better than the picture! Of course, the flavor is important too and I had at least 10-15 people tell me that was the best cake they've ever had. I secretly can't wait till our 1-year anniversary to get another small cake from them. Thy, with Oceanic Flowers, did my bouquet, bridal party bouquets & boutonnieres. When I met with her to tell her some of the things I liked and was interested in, she wrote it all down and brought it to life. She knew I really wanted peonies but they weren't in season so she suggested vintage roses and it turned out gorgeous! She did an incredible job! Chris Williams was our DJ and he was great! He made sure to play the songs I requested & not play the songs I didn't want. Even when we had to change a few things around, he was able to adapt and get the changes done without no one noticing. My guests had a great time dancing and we had a few guests comment on how great the music sounded during the ceremony and cocktail hour that he supplied. We can't forget the food! No Leftovers Catering was simply FANTASTIC! One thing that I wanted for my wedding a was sit down, plate served meal for my guests. I loved that this venue does that and includes it in the package (we found other venues that would charge us to have our meals served to our guests). Chef Kaya has an extensive menu for you to choose from. Don't worry if there are a couple that don't catch your eye because he has plenty more to choose from. Everyone at our wedding raved at how good the food was (including us!) - by far, everyone's favorite was the flank steak and the grilled shrimp appetizer! I know this may be more information than some wanted but I felt like when making this crucial decision in your wedding planning, you need all the information you can get. Besides the vendors, who again, I can't say enough good things about, Cheryl, the owner and Alyssa, her assistant, help to make my wedding a dream come true. I can't remember one email or text from Alyssa that she didn't respond to in less than 24 hours (even if it was a simple yes or no question or a frantic, I don't know what the heck I'm doing, help me question). Mary is highly knowledgeable about different hair textures and makeup techniques, ensuring that everyone's look lasted beautifully through all the tears, smiles, and dancing. We had our wedding here on April 24, 2016. There is so much to say about our wedding day at the Chapel of Orange! First of all, you can not go wrong with the location. Historic Orange neighborhood in a historic chapel? Yes, please! The Chapel and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-kept. The owners have managed to maintain the historical integrity of the building while still providing modern amenities. What makes this venue great, however, is the people! The coordinator we worked with, Alyssa, was absolutely wonderful. I was a very busy bride, but she was always patient and on top of everything. I had a lot going on and I told everyone that the only reason I was able to plan a wedding was because of how helpful the venue is. I really like that everything is packaged with the venue. You do not have to waste your time wrangling in good vendors, as all the vendors provided to us were already top rated. Alyssa made sure everything was coordinated. I felt like all I had to do was show up and make decisions about what we wanted. The planning process was extremely enjoyable, and the wedding day even better! We chose to decorate the reception hall ourselves (we had a specific vision for the centerpieces in mind), but they do offer extra coordinating services for a reasonable price if you do not have the helping hands we did. Everything from the vendors arrived on time and was perfect, down to the details, and when it comes to your wedding day you will find that it is the details that make your nervous. Each vendor, the chef, florist, cake, photographer, and DJ were all VERY easy to work with and communicated well. I can not express what a good job our photographer did as well. We had two shooters, all included in the package. When I tell people about my wedding planning experience I have nothing but good things to say and many looked shocked. I don't know where to start, because I am still speechless of how amazing and beautiful our wedding turned out. I can't say enough positive things about Chapel of Orange and Cheryl. Everyone kept telling me that planning a wedding would be so much work and cost a fortune, and our wedding ended up completely opposite of that. The price was unbeatable, and everything was included. I have several other friends that signed up for package-type weddings, but had to add on all these extra things, which we didn't have to. There was enough of everything from flowers, to cake, to wedding invitations and more. The planning part was a breeze as Cheryl has hosted hundreds of weddings in the past and had everything down to a tee. We received emails of everything that we needed to do and people to contact. Don't get me wrong, there was so much that was already planned, like food and drinks, but since everyone is different, choices such as wedding cake flavor, and color of flowers had to be done in person by us. The email stated everything: for example, time when we needed to contact the flower company, and all the details. All we had to do was set reminders on our phones. The wedding day itself flowed so smooth. The vendors, such as photographer and the additional videographer showed up exactly on time and were extremely talented and professional. We decided to pay extra to have off-site at-home video and photos taken. We arrived at the Chapel slightly after the timeline, but the whole staff adapted perfectly. Everything was so well coordinated, and all the staff were great. The DJ kept the party going, Cheryl had everything in full control, and the chefs/servers blew everyone's mind away with the food. My husband still talks about the chicken and wants me to "figure out how to cook it" To sum up the wedding, Darren's 92-year-old grumpy grandpa said that it was the best wedding he has ever been to. read more

After months of searching for a place to hold our ceremony within our budget in L.A. county, we had to expand our search criteria in nearby counties. Luckily, looking at the site of Chapel of Orange, we fell in love with its adorable architectural design & garden. The venue director, Cheryl, was professional, one of the nicest people we've met, and she made sure everything was on queue for our wedding day! She made sure that our wedding was beautiful and that everything went smoothly. During the times of the coronavirus, they did take the temperature of the guests that came in the chapel and provide hand sanitizer, to adhere to the governor's orders and to keep everyone safe. Our guests loved the church. Our photographer that was recommended by Cheryl was able to stream the wedding for those that couldn't come physically. There are different packages that you can choose from, we chose the ceremony only package. This includes a one-hour rehearsal, 1-2 days prior to your wedding, two-hour time frame at the venue (where the first hour is to have the bride & groom get ready and get their photos taken), licensed officiant, day-of-ceremony coordinator, and music on the chapel sound system. Of course, you can add more things with an additional cost that is, so we kept it simple and it was still beautiful. My husband and I added a nerdy touch to our wedding ceremony through our songs that we chose. The songs that we chose for them to be played for our wedding party was the Jurassic Park theme by the Piano guys, now the bride going down the aisle was A thousand year by the piano guys, and when the groom & bride exited we played the throne room and end title Star Wars by John Williams. My wedding at the Chapel of Orange was a dream come true. I didn't know that such a place could exist: the perfect mix of history (the quaint, elegant Chapel) and beauty (stained glass windows and decor options all provided and set up by Cheryl and her excellent team) with nature (garden with plenty of greenery, flowers, and shade) and modern amenities (wonderful AC for our hot July wedding and spacious bathrooms). My husband and I stumbled upon this gem of a place during an evening stroll, just one week after our engagement. We got married exactly 6 months later. These 6 months of planning were the least stressful part of my wedding because Cheryl not only assured me about her guidance from the beginning but also followed through with guiding me through every to-do item. When you decide to have your wedding at Chapel of Orange, you have made a wise decision because Cheryl cares about details you didn't even think of, as if it is her own wedding! She is so trustworthy, and I wish I could get married to my husband again at Chapel of Orange. She and her team organized the perfect menu-tasting date night for me and husband. Oh my gosh where do I even start? First and foremost, book your event here. Trust me- there is no other place that will even come close to offering what you get at the Chapel of Orange! Everything was absolutely perfect- the food, the photographer, the videographer, the flowers, the cake, the DJ.... I genuinely can't think of any area that we would have changed or improved in the slightest! We got married at the Chapel of Orange in March 2017. We could not be happier with the entire experience! From day one, Alyssa and Cheryl were so friendly and helpful! We highly recommend adding on the full coordination because Alyssa made everything so fun and easy (and it wasn't that expensive either)! We got to plan our dream wedding without doing any of the hard work or stressing about any of the small details. Alyssa was up front about everything and even helped with advice for things not related to the venue. She quickly answered every one of my emails or texts. One word: recommended. We got married on 12/12/2015. When did we get engaged? 11/08/2015! I think the tight schedule says itself why this place is special and how well the owner Cheryl was able to provide a great service. After we decided to have the wedding directly after we engaged, Cheryl was one of the people we approached online regarding wedding inquiries. She was extremely prompt on answering our questions via emails, phone calls. She also provided different customizable package options for us to choose from. She was able to provide/refer wedding vendors for photography, catering, cake, flower, etc. This would save you a lot of trouble, especially if you are doing a quick one. On the big day, she was onsite all the time, handling any crisis or fulfilling any last-minute requests ( have to be reasonable of course). Besides, she is a really nice person to talk with and all her staff are supportive as well. My daughter's beautiful wedding at The Chapel of Orange would have never happened had it not been for the amazing efforts of Cheryl Roberts Gale, wedding director and owner of the chapel. Due to our Groom being in the US Marine Corp, we only had two weeks to make it happen. Luckily, Cheryl had a cancellation, and she was able to take us under her wing. Not only did Cheryl and her wonderful assistant Melissa pull it all together in that timeframe, but they also made it the most beautiful affair. The photographers, the caterers, the florist and the wedding cake bakery were all organized for us. All we had to do is to choose what we wanted. It was so wonderful to be able to focus 100% on my daughter and her groom while Cheryls team made it all work. We loved the historic chapel and the lovely garden nestled just steps outside its door. I can't praise this chapel and Cheryl highly enough! My husband and I decided to travel to California to have our wedding and honeymoon all in one, so we chose an elopement ceremony for just the two of us. Even though we didn't have a traditional wedding, Cheryl and her vendors went way above and beyond to help us make our special day absolutely perfect. They had every detail covered that I can imagine and more, and made sure to accommodate all of our requests and questions. It's pretty sad when a professional wedding photographer sends 100 pictures of your beautiful wedding but you have to merge two of your own pictures instead because his pictures are simply that terrible! I'm so upset I start to cry every time I look through the pictures. My 12 year old nieces pictures are far better than anything the photographer took and he missed so so many important moments. All Dian had to say about this was she thought they were great and he's been working for her for years. When I sent the pictures of a drapery blocking the grooms head while reading his vows, or the picture of only our butts and who knows who's hand pouring sand for the very special sand blending part of the ceremony (this was an important part of the ceremony to me because my daughters were included), along with other pictures I can't believe a professional photographer would actually send to a client, there was no response from Dian. Coming from Canada to California for a destination all-in-one wedding package (especially with the conversion difference) I expected far, far better. I expected better customer service and far better memories to physically look back on but instead I want to cry because this photographer did not at all capture the beauty nor the mood of what that special day was actually like. It's pretty sad when you have to hire another photographer to photoshop your iPhone selfies to recreate the beauty and mood that a professional wedding photographer completely missed. And that only gives us ONE picture. But is our only option short of hiring an actual real wedding photographer to take pictures of us here in Canada, and that would not be the same as having pictures from our day. If you get married through this company, please hire your own photographer as you cannot expect any support from the owner.

Since she already has a working relationship with them, they are typically equally easy to work with. 2. Especially for vendors she's familiar with, she can quickly follow up with them, staying in the loop when we have questions and sharing her own experiences and suggestions from working with previous couples. 3. She understands Chinese/Taiwanese traditions, which made it a lot easier to us to work with her since we needed to preemptively identify pain points and important unique to our culture to avoid family headaches. 4. She had a great attitude even when our requests were vague (mainly when we aren't sure of what the exact solution is and only have a rough vision/idea of what we want) 5. She handled day-of stressful situations with grace and had great backup plans ready when things went wrong. 6. Despite being busy, she is very responsive when we need her. My suggestion for couples (in general when working with any wedding planner) is to be proactive and do your due diligence with vendors and the wedding vision. Treating the working relationship as a partnership. Doing your own research about vendors and wedding day formalities will really save you time and help fill in the gaps.
