That is true and has been true at every dealer in the US since the dawn of time. Your indecisiveness does not warrant nor is it equal to the review you left. Car received, looks great, runs even better. From what I have discovered, this car was bought and owned by the same family. Car was in storage, climate-controlled, and on jacks for about 20 plus years. The "brand new" unused tires were manufactured in 1996, and forgotten documents on the rear seat carpet detail the status and service done in the 1990s. Information I received from people with knowledge about the car stated that the 40,000 miles on the odometer are in fact the original miles and not rolled. One hell of a "barn" find.

Based on his assurances, I allowed my credit to be run. Ali then ran my credit through multiple banks, damaging my credit score in the process. Once it became clear that the deal wasn't happening, he completely disappeared. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. I was flat-out ghosted. Running someone's credit after giving them false confidence and then cutting off communication is irresponsible and unprofessional. If approval was unlikely, that should have been stated upfront instead of wasting my time and hurting my credit. Ali Altaee should be reprimanded for this behavior. This is not how a sales manager should treat customers, and it reflects poorly on Avondale Toyota as a whole. The vehicle sat for 7 months waiting on a transmission, and the replacement was defective. It has been back in the shop almost every month since, and Ford still cannot fix the issue. I've contacted the dealership management, including the GM, reached out to Ford Corporate multiple times. No one has taken the responsibility or provided a real solution. Instead of standing behind their certified vehicle, they told me to trade it in and take a loss. A "Certified" vehicle should not have ongoing, unresolved issues like this, and customers should not be ignored after repeated repair attempts. The car was first taken to a local competitor several times and they could not fix the problem. So the car was taken to Larry Green. Steve, the shop manager was very helpful and the mechanic did an amazing job replacing numerous gaskets and seals making sure the leaking had stopped. We have not had one leak ever since. I wish we had gone to Larry Green first! They know their stuff!

After cancelling the deal and walking away I have still yet to hear from them and cannot even get ahold of them to see what they did with the check my credit union sent them. This is borderline bat and switch tactics from a dealer. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this dealership and all of their shady tactics.
