STAY AWAY This dealer is the reason people hate car dealers and car salesman. Was searching for a Cadillac Lyriq and found one here. Told Dave I was looking for a larger vehicle for my PREGNANT wife. Drove up from the valley, just to find out this car has been smoked in!! They didn't even try to detail the ash and dust off the dash and in the cracks of the interior. Even though the smell was obviously there the salesman Dave and the sales manager continued to try gaslighting me into thinking there was no smell cause they couldn't smell it and the sales manager drove the vehicle for two weeks and couldn't ever smell it....Beyond furious there are no laws on having to disclose this BUT MOST OF ALL shame on the dealer for being okay trying to offload a car onto someone that informed you it's for their pregnant wife and future child. After cancelling the deal and walking away I have still yet to hear from them and cannot even get ahold of them to see what they did with the check my credit union sent them. This is borderline bat and switch tactics from a dealer. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this dealership and all of their shady tactics. I bought a 2021 C8 Corvette used from Carvana just recently. I did a Carfax and noticed that all the services were done at Larry Green in AZ. I wanted to know if the 7500 mile Transmission service had been done. I gave them a call, and the young lady in the service center took some time and looked up the vin and did some research for me to let me know that that service had been completed. Outstanding service department!! Professional service work on my '91 Camaro RS. The car had multiple engine and differential leaks as you would expect on a vintage car. The car was first taken to a local competitor several times and they could not fix the problem. So the car was taken to Larry Green. Steve, the shop manager was very helpful and the mechanic did an amazing job replacing numerous gaskets and seals making sure the leaking had stopped. We have not had one leak ever since. I wish we had gone to Larry Green first! They know their stuff! read more

Needed key fabs programmed for 20 yer old car. Their parts and accessories department really helped finding the part number. I needed to order it online. However, for the programming, they suggested Brownies, which did not respond, never called back, never made an appointment, could never reach them again. So I searched the Internet and I found that C4 Auto Keys LLC in Prescott was responsive. They not only made an appointment but showed up at the exact time the next morning and in 10 minutes had both key fobs programmed. All he had to do was plug in the right piece of equipment. It was no big deal, it's doable, even with older cars and $100 less than Chevrolet quoted. read more

We've been having a serious issue with our GMC -- when it overheats, it shuts down to a very low speed until it cools down. The problem is, every time it happens we're nowhere near a GMC dealer to get it diagnosed on the spot. When we finally brought it in to Larry Green GMC, the mechanics told us there was "nothing they could do" since the check engine light wasn't on. This response is very frustrating, especially since we're less than 1,000 miles away from our 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty expiring. If the issue happens again after the warranty ends, it seems like we'll be stuck paying out of pocket -- even though the problem started under warranty. On top of that, when they returned our car, they didn't bother to clean out the disposable items they left inside. It felt careless and unprofessional. We can't understand why a mechanic wouldn't be willing to actually investigate the underlying issue, just because the light wasn't on. Problems don't always trigger a code right away, but that doesn't mean the issue isn't real. To us, this shows a lack of effort and customer care. We left feeling like the dealership doesn't want to put in the work to properly diagnose problems, and instead just waits until it becomes the customer's financial responsibility. read more

If you enjoy the old ways of purchasing a vehicle, this is the place. We were researching a purchase in this case for a used vehicle. We were greeted by a young man that was very courteous. The woman that we actually spoke with was initially nice but she could have been another customer in appearance. The young man helped us with a test drive and answered questions as best as possible. The aggrivation began when we sat down. I will skip the 1970's paperwork methods used, let's suffice to say it took too long just to verify a credit rating. After she finally provided a price, her words were, what can I do to get you in this vehicle today? or something like that. Seriously!? I had not heard that line from any car dealer since my teenage years. Then, the price on the vehicle did not match the advertised price even after including the usual tax,title,dealer prep routine. When I was finally handed the "out the door" bottom line, they had added undercoating, paint protection, and door edge guards. That added about two thousand dollars to the bill. That is when the "what do I need to do" line was used. I added up the advertised price with the taxes and licensing fees and handed the amount back to her. For a moment she said nothing, and then wanted us to talk to the manager. At this point we left. The dealer we ended up purchasing a vehicle from were pleasant and helpful from beginning to actually making a deal. They answered our questions, were very quick at the credit paperwork, did not have to talk to a manager first, etc. It took two trips back to them to come to a decision but they never once tried to push us to a decision. No stress, no BS. The Larry Green dealership needs to step into the twenty-first century. After taking some time to read reviews here we made the right decision to go elsewhere. Well I decided to try Larry Green Chevrolet again and this time they were prompt and got the job done in a timely matter, one of the the heat shield was either damaged or defective it was causing a sound when I accelerated. Scheduled an appointment on Monday the 11th they diagnosed the problem and needed to order a part, came back the 20th for the part replacement and was in and out in under an hour. I will try them again for a scheduled oil change. read more

I purchased a vehicle a few months back from Larry Green Auto. They said I was buying it "As is" because they didn't want to warranty anything or spend more money on it before they sold it. After getting it home & having my mechanic go through it, I realized they sold me a lemon. It had thousands of dollars in rust damage to the bottom, bearings, and frame. I knew the AC didn't work, but the entire AC system had to be replaced. There is a lot more damage to the overall vehicle than the pictures showed. I wish I never bought this car or called Larry Green Auto. I got bamboozled!!! Update: Sent an email at the request of the business manager three days ago but never heard back. STAY AWAYYYY‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ I brought my Chevy vehicle here and they gave me the complete run around! Brought it in because there was a small coolant leak and a strange sound, which I let the mechanic hear before he worked on the vehicle. He replaced my hose where the leak was, thermostat housing (it was bad I guess) and serpentine belt (coolant had leaked on it). Paid a little under $1,000 for the job just to get in my vehicle and have the sound STILL BE THERE, my heart was shattered!!!!! The mechanic even put IN THE NOTES THAT THE SOUND WENT AWAY after he changed the belt...THAT WAS A LIE. They had just closed so I called the next morning to be told to bring it in and AGAIN no one knowing what the noise WAS. HAD to come back a 3rd time so their "mAsTeR mEcHaNiC" can take a look. They tried to say it was my timing chair LMAO another +$1,000 bill for ME. I wasn't about to trust THEIR WORD...MONTHS go by because I didn't have the funds to fix it and with everything being so high and rising, that didn't help me save any! I'm wondering WHY my car is running for MONTHS IF IT WAS MY TIMING CHAIN?!?! Do not take your vehicle to Larry Green for anything. They changed the exhaust filter on my car 3 times in 78,000 miles and are naw telling me it needs a new diesel particulate filter plus 5 sensors. My husband and I were looking for a used Chevy Tahoe. Inexpensive, with all the bells and whistles. We searched online all over the area, and found exactly what we thought we wanted at Larry Green. We drove over, about an hour or so. It was WELL worth it! The Tahoe was exactly what we wanted, and the price was great. The staff were terrific. Brad, our salesman, was so helpful and just nice. Friendly. Mike, the finance manager, did a bunch of digging to find us a loan and one with a great interest rate! In fact, after we already had the car home, he called and told us he'd found an even better interest rate than we had agreed to. Service was terrific too. There were a couple things we wanted fixed on the car, and they ordered what they needed, called us when parts were in, and fixed it. They even checked in with us before the parts arrived to let us know (holidays) parts were on the way. Everyone there, starting with Julia, the receptionist, treated us like family friends. Had to leave it for the afternoon. Went all the way back then got it came home and the check engine lights came on took it back they said the front hub was bad fixed that then it still didn't work had to bring it back then the radiator and the belts supposedly needed to be fixed. After $3000 dollars the car still doesn't work like it should and the damn turn signal still doesn't work!!! I brought my car in for maintenance to change a timing belt and water pump. My car was operating perfectly. I noticed upon driving out of the dealership that it sounded like an airplane was taking off. I brought it back in and they said the noise was there before the service, it was not. Anyone talking to me on the phone would ask what is that noise. When I took it back they also gave me a story about all the repairs that still needed to take place based on this noise and made up a story to justify their mechanic's errors. I needed 3 things fixed on my Veloster...driver side window not working, trunk latch and heater control acting weird. I took my car to this chevy dealer after talking with them and other shops... because i felt that they would really take it easy on diagnostic charges related to my extended warrenty. Not only did they order the parts promptly with quick diagnostics, but Vince the service manager called me several times to keep me in the loop every step of the way! My out of pocket was very low, just tax and they even washed my car for me during this corona virus out brake. If I could rate a 0 I would. The absolute worst financial decisions I have made in my life was doing business with Larry Green. I played $20,000 for a broken car that smoked 6 days after I bought it. After almost 4 weeks total in the shop, they still couldn't fix it. I had no choice but to get another car from them. The second car was also broken ( at least that's what they said, car is now on there lot for sale). I now have a car that I don't even want because I had no choice to pick another car from there lot. The sales manager Clint and general manager Steve, are rude, condescending lairs. They did nothing to aid in this fiasco that went on for 3 months and acted like I was the bad guy in all of this. The service department is staffed by non certified mechanics ( which is what a sales person told me). I have bought 5 cars in 6 years from other dealerships and never had be treated the way I was at Larry Green. Do yourself a favor and and don't do buisness with Larry Green.
